what are you trying to represent you pretentious faggot?
meme rap
Downtempo
my genre tags are intentionally broad and vague
Honestly no clue
I'm just gonna take the easy route and say some variant of pop (dreampop, indiepop, kpop, jpop, vaporpop)
probably either midwest emo or ambient drone
>>53058011
>non-music
that's not a thing
indie rock
Samba-prog
Progressive pop ambient with deep post-funk influences
Alternative
Classical Music by twice as much or more.

black metal
>>53058273
...it isn't. Why would it be?
>>53058167
Hard noise (NOT noise music) and shit like 4'33" aren't music by definition.
Doesn't mean you can't listen to them or find them enjoyable.
>>53058273
Well duh, it isn't
>>53058314
Uhhh because its western by definition
Art music is debatable but fuck you thats why

No it isn't.

I typed "Western Art Music" into Wikipedia and here's the page I got.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Classical_music
Jazz, at least (arguably) '50s and on became a "high art" genre.
Early it was so heavily related to big band and dance genres that it was largely ignored by anyone but the American bourgeoisie.

All that scrobbling for nothing, huh
Okay im back. Joke was art music is arguable while western art music is not. Opies chart is fucking dumb so i figured id follow suit with an equally dumb post. You guys are fucking dense im going to bed.

Anyway I find the Dixieland stuff absolutely perplexing. Perhaps one of the most powerful subgenres I've heard -- the chaotic free-improvisation is nowhere to be seen in later decades. Shame big band overshadowed it.

go drone someone else's taste pleb
>>53058529
art != art music
All music is art to some degree, that doesn't make it art music.

I'm guessing you listed them in order of magnitude? But then there's more than 4 genres listed so that leads me to believe that the genres are actually unrelated to the chart.
