I had never gotten around to listening to this until the Foliage split, and I'm glad i did! Really chill stuff, the beats remind me of Tycho a bit, and the guitars work well with them.

The problem is that this is so lo-fi it becomes muddy and jagged-sounding, not in a good way. The music itself isn't bad though. I might suggest not charging for it, especially since it's just a few short songs.

This reminds me a little of Steve Roach. could definitely picture it playing at a planetarium or something. If I could make one recommendation it would be to try experimenting with more stuff going on at the same time, instead of just one or two chords. Screw around with the different channels and see what kind of effects you can get!

I listened to Raincoat, pretty cool chill sound you've got, maybe look for some different drum samples, they're a bit cheesy sounding and personally I don't think they flatter the rest, at least that crash and snare. Overall though it's really nice.

This is nice, but I feel like the drums are a bit too abrasive in parts. It works with certain sections, but overall I think the drums break up the songs a bit. It works really well on the noisier parts, and you do that very very well. Nuclear Sunrise is nothing short of fantastic.

Listened to a bit of Hama, there's some sexy leadwork on this. Bass tone is fantastic too, if not a touch loud in the mix. This is genuinely really neat. I feel like some parts could go a bit heavier, but that's personal preference, and it definitely doesn't sound wimpy.

I use magical8bit plugin with Ableton Live. If you're wanting to get into just pure chiptune music without a lot of other elements, or even music that features 8-bit sounds more than other sounds, I would recommend looking into Little Sound DJ.

You can get it for really cheap and emulate it and once you want to record/play live you can put it on a Gameboy cartridge.

If you want to do what I do and just include 8-bit sounds in otherwise non 8-bit music, magical 8-bit is a pretty great if somewhat limited plugin. Plogue Chipsounds can do pretty much everything with insane detail and control but it's $95 which is too steep for me.

I use a lot of plugins from this list, great stuff here. I've heard Peach VST is amazing but I can't use it since I produce on a MacBook.
