>prog and post rock influenced
>free EP from the dying days of 2014
New Scapa Flow stuff in the form of a Split EP with fellow Miami musician feelslike. Two different styles. I'll be checking out the rest of this thread as well.
>industrial (metal), electronic, drone, noise, experimental
OUR FIRST ALBUM GUYS, YOU SHOULD LISTEN TO THIS ALBUM
>FUNNY AS P
NUMBERS WITH MEANING:
Currently in the process of building a studio. Should have something new like an EP or something by the end of the month
>experimental, harsh noise on guitars
>new song released today, this time with no guitars
>lofi, cheap synths
Im working on a little ep with a couple covers on it, hopefully ill finish it up this weekend
Pyx - Electronica/Synthpop from Manchester
>death pop / chiptune
>electroclash / digital chaos
All vocals taken from found sound cassettes of kids in the 80s and 90s (and also pop songs n stuff)
Hello! Good morning!
>guitars, minimal, cozy
the fuck is post-ringtone, is that what kids call it these days?
really digging this keep it up
this reminds me of the album i'm working on as we speak
I love the beat on: Everyone is Getting a Girlfriend, but i Keep Posting my Bandcamp Page, but I'm not sure how I feel about your body of work love the cover art
I have one ambient track up on my bandcamp right now but I'm working on a bedroom pop/nu gaze ep/mini album right now, so stay on watch for that:
>post-rock, ambient, drone
>Noise, Lolicore, Hell
wonderful stuff. sounds like the theme to the shopping mall in heaven.
the synths are more clean than i like, and i feel like this should be bland indie trash, but i can't help but tap along to it. a good guilty pleasure.
i love the glitchier take on noise. sounds like static on a cd that's been put in acid. nice shit.
jesus this hurts.
i liked it until the screams came in. they really sound cheesy. and the noise was getting kind of repetitive.
Wow, that's crazy good! First song alone was just a bad ass attack on my headphones. Good job and keep it up! I definitely enjoy this. Also, thank you for your opinion.
I did not enjoy this at all, the whole thing just seems stapled together and run through a filter and lofi.
It seems very lazy, and really the whole "vapor" aesthetic is just nauseating at this point but I suppose thats personal.
>sample-based hip hop, short
>vaporwave, tracks that were going to be on the album but I didn't include because they didn't have the right feel.
>Instrumental Rock, Art Rock, Alternative Rock, Classic Post-Hardcore
Let me know if you like it. All music is free.
if vaporwave is mostly defined by its album cover, it really needs to die. sorry if that came off as just shooting down good feedback. i have been pushing for more effort in my music as of recently.
>Once described as, "the musical equivalent of a well executed fart joke".
>Played near the 2014 American Folk Festival.
>Shitty recording quality -- which is a not-so-clever ruse to make our next album sound even better.
>Songs about celebrities and professional wrestlers.
>At one point, a full-grown man sings a song from the prospective of the same woman at the age 17 and 38 ... so that's nice.
>Something about us may make you laugh.
Here are some videos we made. We have too much free time:
New album out soon.
This is music that I like, for whatever that's worth.
> post metal / sludge / instrumental
>mallsoft/plunderphonics/a new life for you!
> First Wave post-rock, Instrumental, Psychedelic, hints of western
This is nice. I like those weird synth and oscilators in the mix. You should work on more elaborate pieces and make a more ambitious album. Is this a one person project? Maybe get someone to work with you. Music making is better when shared
>trippy psych with a heavy alt rock twist
We play instruments
>keep on the lookout! we have a brand new mix of this EP on the Horizons ;)
Thanks for checking it out! Were actually a trio of producers. I know what you mean, as this album almost seemed like it was all intro tracks. We've changed air since our first EP and I'm sure well keep evolving.
>psych, garage, post-punk
In the midst of recording, please enjoy tasty live tracks in the meanwhile.
>pink punk, moxy-rock
>ambient, drone, glitch
>noise rock, math rock, shoegaze
>jangle indie stuff
>groovy psych, laid back music to drink coffee to
>star trek comedy funk rock
>sample based psych pop
check out the album I made with BSOFD, K and Daycare Riot.
listening to this for the first time. are you speaking a different language in the first track or is it just gibberish? either way its neat and something i've never heard before.
the vocals are so strange and create such an otherworldly vibe. once you get used to it its really cool
also thanks for the consistent feedback throughout the last months
>Noise Pop, Shoegaze, Dream Pop
On BBC Introducing Tonight
What do you think?
oh thanks, i used to hate you because no reason, im speaking in spanish on every track.
ahhaha that's a feelsy songname.
thanks for the feedback guys
2 demo tracks up so far, one more to come and then a full demo release with 5+ songs. Raw production, hope you enjoy!
>first half is spoken word and second half is tape loops
>garage rock, bass n drums
Could I get some constructive feedback on these two singles I released? I would really appreciate it.
I'm thinking about posting two new tracks tonight but I'm not sure whether to or not, I posted the samples/teasers for them both here about an hour ago, what do you guys think?:
I really like this stuff, I'm not normally big on spoken word, most I've dabbled in is Scroobius but I really like where you're going with it, keep it up :) the Cliche Title track if so sassy. 8/10.
I get where you're going with it and I enjoy it a lot, but a tiny bit more high end on this would do wonders, I get Black Metal has a specific sound but getting a little crack on that snare and guitar would make it really come together, 8/10
Dual Vocals are awesome on Juniper, really perky song, cheered me right up! Everything sounds so tight and clean, awesome stuff. 10/10
Your changes in the songs are very well thought out, however, this is just me, it feels like sometimes they take away from the song as by the time you're getting right into the melody you're swooped into a new one (if that is intentional then my bad) 8/10
very bleak. good for when i want to feel like shit worth a download
bands on this page
Internet Hate Machine
Thanks a lot man! I'll take your advice on board :)
Your stuff is pretty good too! Nice blend of different styles of metal on the first track. I like the combination of thrashy riffs and guttural vocals. The vocals could do with being a bit fuller and louder in the mix, but overall pretty solid.
Me Again. :)
The deep and heavyness of the bass on (slap) made me very happy. Keeping it thick and groovy, I love it. 7/10
Album Art is fantastic, love the distortion on the Vocals in Cake but the the bass gets a bit overpowering when it gets played open. I love it though, reminds me of the Hives! 8/10
I'm sorry the quality is just so hard to judge the song on. I can't really get a good idea of the track. Just remember, noise doesn't always = heavy. Mebbe EQ your guitars, a little more Bass and Mid and a little less distortion can actually fill in things a lot more, rather than taking away from the heavyness, give it a bash next rehearsals :). Once there's a pro recording I'll bump it up, but for now its a 3/10 i'm afraid.
MAEBASHI STATION - CHICAGO
>house, bleeps, nanocommunications
>came out today
>has a short film on youtube too
pls listen to my shit guise.
it's gud, i promise.
>indie rock, bedroom psych pop, lo-fi
>lofi, acoustic, bedroom
I just record when I'm bored.
>instrumental hip hop, wonky, idm
>Dark Ambient/Drone/Post Rock
>Black Metal/Dark Metal
Yep, it's still me. haha
When that synth kicks in on Epicene Queen I was all over this. Very catchy, great use on all instruments, 9/10.
I realize you didn't make the backing track but it's still very nice and chill.
Rapper 1: You have a great flow, your percussion in your raps really emphasizes the beats, which is what I look for in rapping, nice work. I'm not a fan of the lyrics tbh, stereotypical usual rap stuff but fab nonetheless.
Rapper 2: Not as strong with your percussive words as the first rapper but getting there, I really enjoy what you guys are doing, if you get someone else on board for making the backing tracks and got more flow on that second part you might have something there :) 7/10
I really like this! The high synths make it feel really..i dunno. Tokyo-ish? You can decide whether that's good or bad but i love it haha. The change halfway through is slightly sudden without a build up or breakaway to introduce it, I would have this in my relax/sleep playlist, very nice. Wish it was a little longer though! 9/10
This certainly feels like a soundtrack to something, Liberty Acid takes a little bit before it gets into it, I feel it should only be about half as long as it is. But hey, that's just personal opinion. :) sound nice and crisp though, great mix. 8/10
The vocals need just a little bit work as they're very slightly off but you get the idea which comes across fine. The tracks themselves are very catchy. 7/10
Oh my, the guitar in this sounds beautiful. I can appreciate that a lot. Straightforward feel good acoustic. Can't go wrong.
The way the vocals are done is fab, gives almost a choir-esque feel, it almost gets off putting on the second track though, a clean vocal track would compliment that one a lot more. 8/10
Awesome stuff, would love for a rapper to collab with you on this stuff, gives a great vibe. Very crisp and neat. 8/10
Hey guys, It's been a pleasure, there's a lot of great stuff here with a lot of potential. I'm done with reviewing for now, I'll probably be back on tomorrow.
As for now, I decided I'll post my two newest tracks a week early, uploaded exactly 3 minutes ago. If you guys could check them out and let me know what you think, it would mean a lot. Thanks for your time!
woah man, was not expecting something this profound. i'm really enjoying 'Silent Arm'. that percussion is perfect tbh. and thanks for your review of my project! so glad that you enjoyed it.
I'd love any feedback!
below-average but not absolutely terrible vocals
the guitar.... it just sounds terrible, the tone and the playing ability.
the lyrics are horrendous
i'm honestly not trying to be a dick but dude please improve before uploading more music
still one of my favorites, great work
very cozy indeed
heard this recently and keep going back to it, very interesting
>ambient // electronic // driving music // soundtrack
Hi guys, I'm back with a new Oceania LTD album!
>23 tracks of guitar stuff, weirdly tweaked samples and analogue synth worship
>most tracks are extremely difficult to classify as a specific genre
Stuff that I like:
I'll return any feedback!

Hey there! I haven’t posted here for a minute;
I’ve been finishing up my album for AMDISCS
pic related though the cover it’s still being reworked.
I hope to have it out by the end of the month if not early February :]
You guys have no idea how grateful I am, I’ve pretty much garnered my whole audience from this website and I appreciate y’all sticking around.
Be sure to stay tuned for this release it’s going to be very special!
Are you currently working on a new release? I've dug your stuff for months now so it would be cool with some new material.
I'm >>52762332 and I just released a new album myself.
>drone, ambient, field recordings.
the tracks all panned 100% left on bandcamp.. weird. but also all of what >>52761552
said. the production on this is clipping all over the place, and not in an intersting lo fi way. it's like your stuff is mimicking all the "greats" of emo and /mu/ culture but not adding anything of you're own. it's sterile in a way.
Let's try this with the link this time:
you sound bitter hahaha
yeah dude, i'm hoping they can put it out before the month is up if not it'll get released february.
i'm going to scope you're new release right now! i've been listening to you for a while now! i really enjoyed tokyo mall <3
On telephone booth so far, so good! Did you ever play the Sega CD game Snatcher? It reminds me of that, sort of Japanese future funk music for black markets and crime solving with yer robot buddy
Thanks man! I'll check it out as soon as it drops.
>Did you ever play the Sega CD game Snatcher?
Nope, I only had a N64 when I was a kid.
>sort of Japanese future funk music for black markets and crime solving with yer robot buddy
That's one heck of an aesthetic m8
Thanks for listening guys!
Regarding the aesthetic, the album cover and the title was meant as a far fetched homage to the album "Brustna hjärtans hotell" by Blå Tåget.
>focus on production quality and clarity
>laid back, experimental without being inaccessible
>experimental, instrumental hip-hop, ambient-electronic, trip-hop
>both my projects include samples from a distant acquaintance, most recent project also utilizes field recordings of other friends voices as samples
dude doesn't have a bandcamp, so here's his souncloud
>experimental electronic piano and synthesizer melodies and other bits
>Kinda Post Junk and Kinda Sludge
>Post Rock + Improv Jam
>Guitar Synthesizer jams controlled by expression pedals and stuff.
I'm nearly done writing another 20 minutes worth of material, and was wondering if anyone wanted to a split, not that I know what that ultimately entails other then "Both of our names are on this"
These are all great. Recced.
>rap, glitch, (free)
>breakcore, cheeky bastardcore, selfesteem punk
KFC murder chicks!
Thank you lot for listening and sharing your feedback on my music, it helps the music making process to know people listen to it.
If you wouldn't mind though, telling me what artists my music sounds like the most? Someone told me a time previous that one of my tracks sounded like Mass of the Fermenting Dregs, what else does it sound like?
>Dark ambient, drone
new song/skit thing for my concept album
I'm honestly not really sure what to call the inbetween songs like the one posted, I don't like calling them skits cause this isn't The Chronic, but hey
>sludge, avant garde, noisy post-rock, ambient
here you go bro
>freek punk,art garage,instrumental
>experimental electronic dance music
>music to make love to your psycho ex by...
>"7/10, it's OK" -some hipster I met at a coffee bar
>will be releasing the Trilogy as well as few extra goodies on USB soon via Hollywood Crush Records...
>>52767628 (The Chronic is a great album, but you call 'em whatever you want, man... Also, digging this more than I anticipated.)
