Depends on who the woman is, and what her tastes are, and how wide her knowledge of music is, of course.

As a general starting point I'd say "What's your favourite song?" and then talk about whatever she says, maybe make some recommendations. If she mentions a semi-obscure band or song you can pretend not to know them so she feels slightly proud, and gives you recommendations too.
