>Acoustic, Emo, Lo-Fi
you've got some really nice stuff there man, really chill and pretty melodies. Would be cool if i could understand what you're saying but i guess that's on me haha
super nice ideas there man, especially like the stripped back piano beats
Apart from having the best name ever.
The lyric's i quite liked and I feel like if it was properly produced then it's some real grade A stuff.
this is really awesome

Looking for feedback on my latest beats mix
>hip-hop, boom bap, funky, jazzy, samples. YES YES YALL
will return feedback
I loved the mix, really filthy at the start then into this incredible little riff 2:20 mins in! Who the fuck is this little bit by? I must have it.
beautiful production on this track, everything is so crispy, when those big chords come in it's so hot! Loved this man well played!
Always see you on soundcloud threads, always click to listen, great stuff as usual! Don't think I've heard Look Out yet, there's a really brilliant bit about 2:10 in, where it goes into this bassy phase part, it's transposes so beautiful into the next part. Amazing!
Great composition, I've recently sparked an interested in film scores and the such. How did you create this sound? I'm guessing it's not live but just incredibly well produced to give it the effect of being played live?
TELL ME EVERYTHING
Here's my own:
Made two new tracks in the past week or so

Hi dude! I made this https://soundcloud.com/kasvihuone/lucifer
I use ableton and orchestral vst plugins like EWQL Hollywood Strings, 8dio's epic taiko ensemble for drums and 8dio's requiem for choirs!
aha that's amazing, it sounds like the real thing! Have you produced any scores for anything?
Also where can I rip these from? (if you have the knowledge)
Hip hop beat in a 3 track EP

My second single from the upcoming Dark R&B EP. Many of you liked the first one, this is more downtempo/emotional. I haven't gotten much feedback for this one yet. I'll make sure to return the feedback given!
>hip hop, beat, sampling
Pretty good man! My only problem with it is the lack of intensity in your voice. Put some more emotion into it. You've got skill but it seems like you're holding back a little bit.
>first demo in 2 years
>work in progress
>title has it. sort of.
>keys, pads, synths
Hey guys, check out this demo song I have for my next ep. It's changed since I originally put it up but I would like to hear what you guys think of it.
I leave all my comments and what not on the cloud so I wont show up in here.
Sounds pretty good for a demo. Your voice compliments the music really well. I'll follow you, I'd like to hear the finished version.
This track makes me wish I still smoked pot. Love the direction you took with this.
>Thank you, that's really nice to hear! Similar stuff coming soon with my third single, so stay tuned!
I sometimes go on here to look for talent and throw them some re-masters. Your sound is muddy with too much low-mid.
Here's a re-master of https://soundcloud.com/srealtft/the-pit-fall
>sad indie folk, a bunch of new songs
Cool, thanks for the input. I've been producing music for a month now, so mastering is obviously not a strong point for me. I'll keep this on mind during future mastering sessions.
Just one month? You're doing well!
I suggest investing in some flat music production headphones like the AKG K701.
The muddiness in your sound comes from two things: The 400-600 Hz range needs cleaning up, and the sub-100Hz range is too heavy and causes rumble. You should also make everything below ~200 Hz into mono to have a punchier sound. If you have a Mid/Side-capable EQ, set up a Side-band and cut away the stereo-bass information.
Hey this thread is me
>synth heavy electro
>mostly bits and pieces i haven't finished yet
I am a shit but feel free to take a listen. I always return comments and feedback
feel like i rushed through my last EP and am definitely taking my time on my upcoming project, feedback is appreciated i try to return
I'm working with Audio-Technica ATH-MX50's right now. These kind of specific tips are exactly what I need. I've been basically mastering with Izotope ozone 5 presets right know, since I've been focusing all my energy in the actual producing and mix.
>shopping commercial core
Glad that I could help! Oh and those are nice headphones.
Dipping down 400-600 Hz with an eq during mastering is a last resort, by the way. Try to use EQs on every track during mixing. Highpass every instrument that isn't the bass, and slide the cutoff point around until the instrument sits nicely. The more you do proactive cutting, the less mud when it's time to master.
Heading to bed now. Best of luck with your music!
Yeah, I've worked the EQ a bit during the inial mix, have to work on it a little more. Hit me up on SC if you have anything else to add, I'm really grateful for every piece of advice I can get.

Is there a way to only search for songs on Soundcloud that are free to download?
I haven't been on in 2 or 3 years and now it's full of Calvin Harris and Deadmau5 and "buy on iTunes" links. What the fuck mang. I always thought it was supposed to be about giving new producers a platform not acting as an advertising service for already established artists.
Only two pieces of music on there right now (one being a WIP,) but there'll likely be a fair few updates in the next little while.
Feedback'll be met with like.
more on the way soon
>Experimental noise music for raping your ears with
Here's a picture of Asuka because she a best
>Trying Really Hard
soundcloud.com/boonekamf <-- hiphop shit
ayy follow me I'll follow you nobody benefits because we actually probably won't enjoy what the other makes u heard?
I make angsty rap about elves and dragons and suicide and my ex bitch. I sample mostly contemporary video game music. I hate most of it. People have told me I'm good... they probably lied.
soundcloud stuff isn't our best, tape coming soon.

I return all follows and comments.
>Alt. Metal/ other stuff
returning att. on SC!

Just posted a new track!
I think it's better than my previous work, but I know I still have a long way to go.
Please give it a listen and tell me what you think!
>Terrible, Terrible music
Some of my demos, most are pretty rushed vocal-wise, but I'll be uploading more.

just short little song recorded last night
Hey guys, come check out my band "The Phantom Hour". We just put up a radio edit of our song "Call To The Cave" yesterday.
>Indie lo fi
Super catchy I return feedback!
Also check out:
Just finished it last night. My first song that I arranged and performed by myself. The other tracks were cobbled together with samples.
I know it's typical chiptune trash but I wouldn't mind some feedback to make it better.
Recommending this guy as usual! Your support means the world to us. Keep up the awesome work, and good luck with any future performances! If you ever came to Michigan, I'd definitely come see your show.
Stunningly beautiful. I'm in awe. This is precisely the type of work I aspired to with Gemini Moon!
I remember fondly when you first started posting here! You've grown quite a bit since then, though, as both a musician and a visual artist. Keep it up.
All Kinds of electronic goodness
Fresh, just put out a few mins ago, will try and give some of y'all feedback probably in a few hours if this thread is not kill
Just released my first demo track, a mix of black metal and doom metal. Raw quality. Full demo later this year.
>GHOST IN THE SHELL
>I make different music inspired by Cyberpunk & Japan.
A collaborative effort with my jazz multi-instrumentalist friend is being put out soon. First song has just finished being recorded; think improvisational jazz drumming over walls of noise and distortion. In the meantime, why not give a listen to this track? (please)
>lo-fi, experimental electronic, noise
Any other sheet musicers here?
Don't really do soundcloud but I've been dabbling in composition lately (like more classic composition)
I threw this comp for strings together last week in Finale. Obviously, ignore the potato sounding Finale instruments, this hasn't been recorded. Would just like to know what people think, criticism encouraged! I minored in music in college and have always wanted to try composition.
>slow, a bit dramatic
So I've been rapping for some years but I think I've only just reached a point where I can call myself better than good. Part of that was from listening to critiques from fellow /mu/sicians.
I'm posting this EP in hopes that some of you will listen and give me tips for continuing to improve. Not just in rapping, but also in the production aspect. Also looking to possibly work with some of you. I've worked with a couple people from this thread before (nonimus and tabulaaa where are you?) and it went fairly well.
Also listening and following other posters.
OK so I never check these threads because Sundcloud is 99.9% crap. Friend posted this though, and I was fuuucking blown away. I'm out.
>instrumental, chill, dreamy, nostalgic, film
If you have a listen let me know so I can check out your stuff
I hadn't even noticed you labeled it as such. It reminds me of the part of the movie where the protagonist fucks up in some way and wallows in their despair until they decide to get it together. I really like this.
Anyways this is me >>52666476
>edm - 100bpm
Been working on this the past two nights, ears are accustomed to it so I don't know if it's shit or not.
- sample before the climax is a placeholder I know it's not great
Will return feedback.
