I seriously hope you see the irony in that statement....

What do we talk in this thread if no genres are allowed?

genres are allowed, but the thread is non-genre specific (as in, no techno or UKG edition). just talk or post whatever bleeps you're into

haha oh man kids these days.

I made a new thread because by the time I made my first post on the old one (which was a deadmau5 song btw), it was already a chavs vs autists shitfest. SO here's a new one, relatively shitpost free. Why the fuck would I get "incensed" about a UKG thread? If anything I would've been happier with both threads, that way the UK trash stays in the UK thread

I'm sorry, since when did oldskool UK Garage fall in line with the likes of Zedd and Avicii?
>>
>>52387428

not that I can think of. 2step and all of that stuff never got my attention. Please note tho, I've danced to this stuff a shit load of times but I've never really liked it outside of a dancefloor

RDJ is mainstream "IDM". I was talking the meaning of "EDM" prior to 2010. When it was a vague umbrella genre, "Electronic Dance Music"

None are overrated. Each one of them were, and still are essential, relevant countries that produce interesting sounds and possess major influences.

The Netherlands (and to certain extent, Belgium) is easily overlooked. Romania, Slovakia and Sweden also have good scenes, but they're usually too specific or really lack appropriate coverage.
