/bleep/ thread: non-specific genre edition
Welcome: everybody who likes bleeps
Non-welcome: shitposters, genre-autistic faggots
cousin is marrying an american chick so her fam came over for xmas. ended up hearing someone say "freedoms" unironically for the first time in my life. almost had to leave the fkin table lmao
Where in America is she from? Please use map if you need assistance
Pretty sure the country's name is "United States of America". America is the continent friendo.
Anyway, never seen this type of /bleep/ posted here, but I really enjoy it:
post breakbeat hardcore
It's spanish, not portuguese, and it's from Argentina actually.
I wouldn't say it's EDM, but fair enough.
Going to dump something similar just in the case anyone's interested
Mah nigga. I just heard it yesterday. Not sure about AOTY though (pic related). I've been digging this raw, nostalgic, stripped-down style of deep house lately.
Do you like Moomin?
Why does everyone on /bleep/ only post Jewtube links and no mega.co links?
For real, I would come here more often if I didn't have to scour the goddamn internet every time I hear something I like.
yes, its pretty good stuff from what I've heard. Reminds me of a more minimal Vakula. I still prefer the lush production of F&T/Dj Sprinkles
I haven't heard Minutes of Sleep yet. Will add it to my backlog
More than likely you'll have to open up a port on your router to allow soulseek to download stuff. That is the trickiest part, but if you are a bit computer "savy" you can figure it out easily with google
Hey /bleep/. I'm interested in listening to your favourite albums because I want to enjoy more techno and dance music (sorry if i've butchered the wording of the genre.)
recommend me your favourite /bleep/ appropriate albums.
Majority of /bleep/ isn't about albums but EP's and singles. Give some compilations a shot if you feel like it, it's the closest you'll get to LP format.
Stimming, Andy Stott, Actress (pleb alert).
Mostly critic approved stuff, but techno and dance music is something I've put off getting into because it's such a vast world in itself.
Is there any essentials that someone should listen to when getting into the genre?
both Andy and Actress have been influenced by dub techno, specially Basic Channel
if you find it too boring, check out the Chain Reaction label. The stuff there goes from straightforward techno to more "experimental" stuff. Vladislav Delay's Multila, Pelon's No Stunts, Hallucinator's Landlocked might be up your alley
If you want more "modern" stuff, Stroboscopic Artifacts, Osgut Ton and Sandwell District mite b gud for you
post good youtube diggers:
Quit spamming shitty UK GARAGE crap. Nobody here likes it.
This is the best Jungle mix CD ever released.

Seriously though check the archives.
In the 90's I was quite into techno music but sort of fell out of listening to it over the years, today I listened to Plastikman -Consumed after a long break and loved it.
Can any of you recommend me some similar artists or Albums?
I do have some idea of some similar artist but most of them are from years ago. I'll post a list of some of the artists I have albums from, but I guess they are all more well known and not very recent.
Rhythm and sound
El-B/Ghost/late Groove Chronicles
Late Zed Bias
J Da Flex
Whatever you do, stay away from dub techno though
COME AND CHAT, PLAY SOME TEKNO
Voices From the Lake - Voices from the Lake
Aril Brikha - Deeparture In Time
Andy Stott - Passed me by
Convextion - Convextion
Peter Van Hoesen - Entropic City
Madteo - Noi No
Shackleton – Music For The Quiet Hour / The Drawback Organ (double album)
Shed - Shedding the Past / The Travelller (2 diff albums)
I have no idea who that is. Also I am being paranoid but I swear I have posted every single one of these tracks in this order apart from the last two in a previous thread. >>52386642
>Recommending late Zed Bias
>Even if trolling
What are you doing.
This dub techno vs UK garage war is getting ridiculous. I loathe the latter, along with its stupid anglocentric shitposting fans, but each has the right to exist here.
All those disputes are bringing down the quality of an already subpar on average general, cmon people. I know it's /mu/, but that's like the best there is on this crappy board.
>Also I am being paranoid but I swear I have posted every single one of these tracks in this order apart from the last two in a previous thread
Yeah I was just digging up youtube links from the archive
>other thread dead
>mods are sort of illiterate tbh. they rather nuke a thread with many shitposts than delete each one of the shitposts individually
welp, told ya.
OP here of the other /bleep/ thread. I just got a warning for "posting duplicate threads" despite the fact that mine was made first.
Fuck you, Angry Dub Techno Black Guy. I wasn't even one of the ones memespamming in there.
>shitposted the hell out of the thread
Sounds like standard /bleep/ to me.

(TEXTURECD001D) Darqwan - To The Fly:
>UK Garage, Grime, Dubstep
> He was so incensed that the /bleep/ thread had "UK Garage Edition"
haha oh man kids these days.
I made a new thread because by the time I made my first post on the old one (which was a deadmau5 song btw), it was already a chavs vs autists shitfest. SO here's a new one, relatively shitpost free. Why the fuck would I get "incensed" about a UKG thread? If anything I would've been happier with both threads, that way the UK trash stays in the UK thread
I'm curious tho, as to why britbongs are so delusional to think that its only a few people on /mu/ sick and tired of garridge
he's memeposting UK garage to anyone who asks for bleeps. Ignore him
Not my fault your thread turned to shit. Hint: next time do not make it "[insert your faggy genre here] Edition" It avoids favoritism and shitposting.
Thanks but this isn't really Techno is it? not liking much of these artists.
Thanks, This is pretty much what I was looking for.
while digging around youtube today I found this guy too
>this one's pretty nice. got any more like that?
There's a lot of garage like that actually, I have no idea what the hell what you've been hearing
WE STILL OUTCHEA, COME MOSS + PLAY W/E
>this one's pretty nice. got any more like that?
Yeah, fucking loads more. Somebody get ninja up into this, he'll have tons of links. For real though, there is a lot of garage similar to that. It's not all So Solid Crew or Speed Garage chav type stuff.
you know it's real funny how ADTBG goes on complaining about chavs and Warp kiddies when he goes Chain Reaction, Basic Channel, the list goes on... himself
Nope, will check that out, any suggestions to look out for I'm mostly interested in stuff that sounds like consumed or this >>52387345 really they sound simular to me for some reason
not that I can think of. 2step and all of that stuff never got my attention. Please note tho, I've danced to this stuff a shit load of times but I've never really liked it outside of a dancefloor
Nah I'm going to bed now but I've been thinking about uploading some of the UKG I have like I uploaded those Grime 12"s and mixtapes and shit. Maybe I'll get a start on it tomorrow.
Listen to The Groove Chronicles s/t album (not sure if that is an official release or not) and also this.
(TEMPACD 012) El-B - Ammunition & Blackdown Present The Roots Of El-B
And also this.
(3984244602) 187 Lockdown - 187:
(TEMPACD 001) Horsepower Productions - In Fine Style
And also this. Now goodnight.
None are overrated. Each one of them were, and still are essential, relevant countries that produce interesting sounds and possess major influences.
The Netherlands (and to certain extent, Belgium) is easily overlooked. Romania, Slovakia and Sweden also have good scenes, but they're usually too specific or really lack appropriate coverage.
(I wish people would talk more about France, but I'm biaised here).
yeah from the netherlands so know of some really good stuff from here but not really sure people really picked up that much on stuff we've released aside from the west coast sound of holland electro and the whole trouw hype lately, romania is a good one as well
I got a radio show on juke
My mixing skills are utter shit, please critique with pointers
