/mu/ is actually one of the first places where clipping really blew up and is somewhat responsible for their online spread

at this point their popularity has gone beyond 4chan however, they are highly praised elsewhere on the internet...therefore /mu/ turns on them to an extent. /mu/ doesn't like feeling like they share tastes with other sites/communities.

many on /mu/ still list it among their favorites from the year though.

not at all dude, listen to their prior work. the two producers are into weird ass shit and the mc is a pretty good gangsta rapper. i'd say he's top 5 in that category right now, which is one of the reasons clipping is so good. the new album was probably a strong 6 in my opinion but i love midcity and am always hyped for new music from them.
