What does 2015 have in store for music?
It can't be worse than 2014, right?
Anthony Fantano will join p4k as lead contributor. /mu/ will explode
>the microgenre of the year will be Chillwave-revival
>an oceangrunge release gets reviewed by fantano
>Slint releases a drone album
>David Bowie drops the AOTY
>Sufjan releases a new single but no news on a new album
2014 was pretty great though. No Kanye album and Death Grips breaking up makes up for the atrocity that was 2010-2013
Also there were tons of great releases if you don't suck P4K, /mu/, and Fantano's epeen.
There's a ton of albums I'm liking forward to in 2015

2014 was pretty great though, especially for Asian releases, which makes me worry, that there aren't gonna be nearly as many releases in 2015, since so many groups piled up this year.
Azealia Banks - Fantasea 2: The Second Wave
My inner teenager wants me to believe that Tool will produce another Lateralus but I feel like they have been at it too long. Happy to be proven wrong though. I should say that I'm slightly bias though as they were pretty average when I saw them live.
I'm hoping they just need that kick from having a new album out. - Getting them completely back into it again. Didn't they say something about this being the heaviest album they've made? That alone makes me excited.
kinda psyched for the tool album that'll drop next year, genuinely looking forward to it... god knows they need new material.
awaiting the shitstorm when it drops, both of ignorant, innocent newfags looking to circlejerk and of the sneering backlash from people on mu
No, just a gut feeling.
I DO however have an article on the new Candy Claws album, which will be released under the name Sound of Ceres and will include the Apples in Stereo
Looking forward to this and Deafheaven's new release.
In one of her recent interviews Annie mentioned that she's been working with Eno on some new material, this was while she was in Europe a couple months ago. I found the interview on that lesbian zetaboards, so feel free to look there to try to find the interview.
eh i don't really fuck with that hyperpop/nu-disco feel that they're going for. it's nice and all, but i imagine it will stay a pretty small genre.
how many people legitimately know who AG Cook is? how many of his songs have you heard without seeking them out deliberately?
i've listened to a healthy amount of PCM, but it's always been me hearing that it's come out and then going to look for it. can't imagine it ever taking off in any mainstream sense.
