(I know there's one already but this one has a special rule as you can see above)
I AM A CREATIVE FUCK EDITION
a) your bandcamp page
b) links or descriptions of any other creative endeavors you're involved in (outside of music, preferably).
Let's see some creatives in here, /mu/.
>experimental guitar bits
I also make random pleb shit at
also here's my art blog
I regularly write experimental poetry which I've tried and failed multiple times to get published in literary magazines, I also did some visual art shit a while back when I was in the mental hospital. Pic related; some of my shitty poetry
>lofi tribal ambient and coralian house
this is a video i made
>indie rock, punk, math rock, occasionally jazzy, medium-fi
Previously I was in an emo-ish band and did some painting and got reasonably far into making an indie game. Now I'm in this band, a math rock band (http://davidphosphorwalrus.bandcamp.com/), a noise rock band, and the live incarnation of a friend's ambient project. I also make maps for Doom II (and the associated .MUS compositions), record other people's bands, design posters, photograph events, and do some light graphic design.
>electronic prog rock/softrockdronfest/math
i made/ am making a right fucky (a.k.a bad) RPG maker game, like it's bad to the point where i'm better of trying to call it art than much of an actual game, and the art is confusion
if you really wanna try it though...
I also used to dabble in animation. From when my high school won state championship.
>dark folk, lullaby, other stuff
Four and I have both offered to help a friend start a youtube channel that will include skits, shorts, vlogs, and possibly other stuff, but so far nothing's come out of that. Four has a tumblr devoted to writing/life prompts, as well as a youtube channel for makeup that she can share with you if she wants, but I certainly won't link it without permission.
I dabble(d) in composing (some of which are on newgrounds), but I'm really bad at it, and I have an old deviantart account that has some short stories and poetry on it (again, old and bad), both using the name gopotter.
Oh... and go to newgrounds, audio/listen/467998
It might explain this
>AnCo and Elephant Six influenced stuff
I also have several other projects in the works ranging from ambient to noise to some folk stuff.
I'm also into coding, and I am currently working on a game engine.
>>lounge// dreampop// r&b
My debut LP 'Life in Technicolor'
is up for free!!!
and give my newer stuff a listen!
>ambient, dark ambient, drone, space music, relaxing stuff
Also a painter/ artist, and i make every single cover on my page in pen, ink, or colored pencils. A couple are digital, but thats it.
>ambient, dystopian, idm, dark chillstep, cyberpunk
I'm in a shitty low-tuned metal band.
No real idea what genre we are. I'm the vocalist.
There's some live demos for you.
I made our logo too.
Check out my dark ambient too if you want.
I got raving reviews from /x/ and some good comments here.
>post rock, sludge
>kinda lofi, drum machine beats and some synths
I also did this: diffractiondrone.bandcamp.com
no link but I like taking weird photos so I'll post some
once i made this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zO2Z_iL2x7E
>death pop / electroclash
>chiptune / digital chaos
I do all the covers too, I'm a super artist
>atmospheric/minimalist folk, some freak folk
I can't think of anything non-music related but I've got another bandcamp page with an ambient album made from piece of my original album.
Also my soundcloud which contains plenty of random stuff that isn't on bandcamp.
>noise, plunderphonics, ambient, downtempo
>friend's music reviews I film and edit
>Heavy alt rock
>trippy psych rock
>good times/fun times
my bands first EP :)
>i write poetry on the side? i guess. yeah that
I got a little excited when I saw you had a soundcloud with different things on it.
This might be one of my favorite albums that I've seen in these threads.
I've been meaning to listen to your stuff for a week now and finally got around to it.
All of those textures are wonderful. I kind of feel like the drums throw off a song or two but that's just me. Lovely job
-Four from Ballistic Squeeze
>soft rock, acoustic
fuckin a im make music with hello, computer 27/m/es and
LOF record will be releasing my album, Pawing hopefully later this year. I'm very excited.
>I'm in this band
>this was a 2 part action video I made with some friends in high school. i directed it and did the effects
>this is a webcomic I made but the filesharing website I used deleted most of the pictures so I stopped working on it. its about me and my friends
I also used to make animations and cartoons but they're really bad.
I'm working on a video game right now too but I don't have any links
>Industrial, post-punk, guitar/bass, vocal, Max/MSP, and more
>Fans of Swans, Ben Frost, Godflesh, Keiji Haino, and those types of artists might dig this
I do live visuals too.
I dig your influences. Especially Swans and Godflesh.
Cool guitar and bass tone.
That bass sounds a bit odd. Is it a midi?
If not, then the player is a bit too mechanical-like.
The drum sounds a bit too quiet in the mix for my taste.
Track sounds better and more interesting. The bass playing doesn't sound awkward in this. It would be cool to hear some Neurosis-esque vocal on top of this.
The bass sounds good on the third track too.
Compositionally, you guys are pretty good actually. I would spend more time mixing/mastering to make the composition really come to life.
Keep it up guys.
>808s, rattling hi hats, warm synth pads and pianos drenched in reverb.
The production is really good and I like the pad the sounds kinda like throat singing.
I'm think in love with the playful melody, seriously.
Wow, this sounds really original. Everything is all over the place in a good way.
I've listened to this before, and all I have to say is that it's awesome.
Please listen and give feedback!
>alternative weiner rock/almost punkish
I am an assistant program director at a radio station and also am an 8th level fighter who is the son of a demon lord in an AD&D campaign, shit's cash.
Reccing my friend KC. She's working on some new stuff so keep checking back
And I also paint but I don't put that shit online anywhere.
>guitar pop demo
>More demos soon, full album with professional engineer in the spring
Check out our song!! We're working on some more demos rn. We're really excited to record them in a studio this spring!!
I don't do much other than music. I used to play bass in a ska-punk band
i really enjoy your album, i love the soundscape of all the songs they all sound very spacious
and the songs have a lot of dynamic range which is wonderful
my favorite song is actually 逆張り逸脱
