>black people made Blues
>black people made R&B
>black people developed rock and roll
>black people started house music
>black people started techno
>black people made hip-hop
So why has no recognized that blacks are pretty much the superior race when it comes to modern music?
>OP's mom invented deepthroats
>OP's mom developed the double penetration
>OP's mom started cuckolding
>OP's mom made the facial
So why has no recognized that OP's mom is pretty much a superior slut when it comes to modern sex?
The only one of those that approaches being true in a broad sense is R&B. All American music ultimately derives mostly from 19th century folk. Black people were responsible for introducing polyrhythmic drumming and contributing many new elements, as were innovators from many other races, including more recently non-western artists.
black people inventing ambient
OP posted blues, which is a subgenre of folk music, and house music, which is a subgenre of electronic music.

What is smooth jazz?
White people have thoroughly fucked up jazz's image. There's still good jazz being made but nobody has any respect for it because white people.
>tfw /jazz/ gets barely 50 replies but a b8 thread like this will get 100+
>tfw try and start conversations but there's only ever 5 people in /jazz/ on a normal day and you feel inadequate trying to talk with jtg because he just knows so much more than you
That being said, discussions are usually amazing once they do get going over there.
i for one am in awe of all the developments the noble black man has bestowed upon us (^_^)
Who invented guitars, synths, and computers?
Oh shit yeah white people oh fuck I guess they invented all those genres for a bunch of black people to discover later when using those instruments oh shit thanks white people.
>tfw America now has one confirmed case of Ebola
there is a difference. the black community can take all the credit they want for inventing a style. white people can take credit for adopting that style and making it 100 times better.
Black people made the foundations of most good music and white people improved it (sometimes)
Black music's probably better than white music overall tbh, feel bad that they don't get much recognition because the superpowers of the world are just /pol deep down
>and making it 100 times better
what about jazz
>he went to the hospital 5 days ago
>they sent him home
Is Rock and Roll really that black of a genre? I mean, Rock originated as the merging of Blues and Country and people like Bill Haley were making the same music at the same time as Chuck Berry
>implying "white people" didn't make outstanding jazz
>what is ECM
In my own opinion, white jazz > black jazz
Techno started in Detroit.
The reason you think white people made it is because white musicians outnumber black musicians.
>white people improved it
why do you faggots keep saying this?
Black people are only 12% of the population, logic follows that white people are going to be more dominant.
>In my own opinion, white jazz > black jazz
Hot onions, bud
Wasn't really until the British Invasion that rock was established as a witeboi genre. You could probably say The Beatles "cleaned it up", honestly. Their first couple albums sound pretty devoid of that black soul that defined early rock and roll.
Thankfully this sterility was reversed when the rock album came to power in the late 60s.
you skipped doo-wop you son of a bitch
also anyone who denies OP's assertion is just lying to themselves. african-american is american. otherwise we are just euro-mutts. we did contribute to psych music without blacks though, that's about it. also wasn't techno more so a european thing?
Why would I give a shit about Kenny G? He's a hack. It doesn't askew my viewpoint at all. Most of my jazz favourites are by white people from late 60s up to early 80s, so I'd say I tend to prefer "white jazz". Jazz by the black people is of course amazing as well.
Jazz would be a matter of taste, fans of avant-garde jazz might prefer whites or at least they would certainly be open to acknowledging whites made some of the best jazz. Obviously black artists are a majority in jazz but there were many great white jazz artists as well though a lot of them went further into the avant-garde territory and thus aren't always associated with jazz.
You give people the impression that all jazz fans are elitist pricks. Nobody likes elitist pricks. You are the reason nobody likes us.
>white jazz > black jazz
Kenny G (along with most other smooth jazz musicians) falls under white jazz. That doesn't detract from the really good quality jazz made by white people but keep in mind that if you're post was implying that on average white jazz > black jazz then you may want to consider that smooth jazz is arguably the worst thing to ever come out of jazz and has completely ruined it's credibility as far as most people are concerned.
If for "modern" you mean succesful, everybody recognizes.
But white people invented the well tempered system, and all the music you cite is tempered. Schoenberg was white, and he wrote the final and most complete harmony manual, and all the music you cite follow harmonical rules.
The "black music" you cite is just black people following old rules made up by white people and calling their output in a fancy way, when it would be better calling it "heavily rhytmical 4/4 music with hints of harmony" ( techno ) or "12 bars 4/4 rhythms following a I - IV - V harmonical progression".
Real Modern white ( and black ) music defies all those rules ( tempered system and harmony ), changes them, finds new rules and new beauty canons.
The genres you cite are, instead, just different adornments on a well known and overly abused base.
Attributing the creation of all music to the blacks is a preposterous lie. Blues is a derivative of the combination of classical, spanish, french, polish, folk, indian and gospel hence the term Creole.
Astonishingly enough, every modern genre of music can be traced to Creole. Listen to any popular rap song and either the guitar riff or the baseline will be a Creole progression, or two overlying progressions combined to create blue/creole.
Wikipedia tells you blacks created modern music through the bastardization of gospel, which is a laughable sentiment at best. Like all great forms of art great music can only be credited to the conglomeration of a hundred thousand great musician's songs merged into a singular idea.
This falsified doctrine that only blacks are capable of creating competent music is truly erroneous. This racial stigma is so great that whites are afraid to dance in their own country if they aren't drugged up on molly or ex.
The purpose of this falsification is to instil the message into this generation's musicians that the creation of great music is a result of division, when in all actuality the nativity of truly great music lies within unification.
>white people invented all the technology and instruments for those genres
>You give people the impression that all jazz fans are elitist pricks
Nothing i said made me look like an elitist prick. I think that it's you that jump on the "all jazz fans are elitist pricks" bangwagon. All i did was pretty much calling that guy a retard for saying all jazz is pretentious.
not all of us are dumb cunts who swallow whatever the fuck /mu/ core throws at us. do your own research, and listen to every kind of music there is, and be your own judge as to what is best for you. there are no superior race when it comes to anything on this earth
>So why has no recognized that blacks are pretty much the superior race when it comes to modern music?
Because the only reason anyone know about these genres at all is because white people came along and made them good. Pre-white hip hop, house, techno and rock are some of the worst music music ever created.
