Not necessarily muffled in a bad way, if you boosted the higher frequencies (17kHz+) and maybe the lower ones too (50-80Hz), the percussion might sound a bit more powerful and present in the mix.

I pretty much just learned through trial and error, a lot of stuff is obvious, such as tracks that aren't bass instruments or percussion having a high pass on them around 300Hz so the bass stands out, that kind of thing... I'm far from an expert with EQing and mixing so you'd be better off finding a guide on the internet. Practice is key though.

You seemed to of calmed down today.

Production of the track is really good, reminds me of Death Grips with it's industrial sound. I feel like there's maybe too much effects on the vocals as they are already not clear enough in the mix to hear what you're actually saying. The vocals need to be re-mastered I think.

There's a bit around 3:03 where you lose the timing, I don't understand if it's intentional, but it kind of ruins the otherwise decent flow.

you've got a lot of good ideas lyrically, i feel like something in your flow isn't coming through tho. singing parts are pretty decent. i would say try to slide into a pocket on the beat more, you can definitely ride the bpm but the delivery is a little scattershot. once again your ideas are dope, plenty of potential, keep putting in that work. love what you did with that fade at the end.

this beat is dope like some gold panda type of shit. slaps pretty hard i like that east indies vibe. your singing definitely isn't bad, you certainly pour your heart into it and stick the notes. when you get really into it you almost slide into a bob dylan kind of thing. maybe even them out a little more with compression, they fade into the beat at points. unique style for sure but i was rocking with it. not sure on that piano bit.
