thanks man that's pretty much how i want my music to be heard. just finished listening to your ep and it was pretty great. really dug the percussion sat in the back of the mix in uprising. gives a really good sense of space and dynamics in the song. one of the better incorporations of backwards sounds ive heard in cassivellaunus and the build up to the end is quite nice
Machine of the Absurd

>project with my girlfriend
>lots of multi-track guitar instrumentals
>a few covers with vocals
bukakkkke starts off really strong and i was really into it but other than that low pass filter it doesn't vary up enough so i got kind of bored before it was finished. like it's a great loop but needs some progression
>I make different music inspired by Cyberpunk & Japan.
Just released my first acoustic / folk album - "Living with Ghosts".

What happens when you take 1 gram of killer weed + 20 minutes of free time + a desire to destill Radiohead down to their very essence in around a minute?
Special thanks to >>48778703 for not only reminding me that I wanted to do this at some point, but also motivated me to take those all important 20 minutes to record it onto my phone. Thanks buddy!
Album on the 5th, I return feedback
Chill as all hell. Rhythms are tight and very well produced. Have you considered adding vocals at all?
also, would you mind checking out my newest whiteboi trashrap song and giving me production feedback?
>chill beats influenced by trap, hip hop, vaporwave and smooth jazz
>808 plus guitars
Hey here is a free ep I made with my amigo. I make ambient atmospheric music and he makes juke tracks so it's an interesting mix
We're a new band. We made this bedroom demo but the mixing is kind of bad. We're saving and learning more so we can make better demos and record a full album with a professional producer. That said, I hope you enjoy the song! ^^
>mostly chilled out hip hop

"Some bad first impressions, but to those who are patient enough to hear this EP out, will be greatly rewarded. Love this! An underlying darkness, but a hopeful tune laced with crispy soundscapes, grating textures and wonderful reverberated ambience. I'm definitely going to download this. Thanks, man". - Illuminist.
It's free to download.
>Old school hiphop beat
I try to give 3 listens and at least 1 comment.
I return all feedback in soundcloud!
it was well produced, great quality... but dude, c'mon, that was fucking boring. Give me some drums to nod my head to, give me some bass lines to shake my subs, give me some catchy leads that I'll remember when I'M writing music. It lacks development and flare.
i don't disagree with you but the guy is just starting and it's pretty good for a first attempt. gotta give him some credit considering
this was extremely depressing and does not at all fit my current mood but i still ended up listening to more than half of it. really top notch shit and i'm loving the deep vocals with the dark atmosphere. going to download it so i can finish it up later
Sorry, I haven't been leaving much feed back lately, I'll try to rectify that today.
>things i think sound good
>club/trap type stuff
Our best produced yet

>VHS DIsney Cassette Core
this is a song i'm working on, it's not even done the writing the music phase, but what do you think?
>holy fuckin polymeters
>HOLY FUCKIN POLYMETERS?
like the drums have been really fun to write, i managed to get a bar of 13/16 and 15/16 to take up the same time, and some other kinda fucky stuff too
I don't know what to tell you, just listen to it.
This will rustle some jimmies but if all you have on you SC page is some remixes or some chopped / screwed shit of some original artists work then I don't even bother listening. I know some of you actually create your own shit AND do remixes. If I'm on a page like that I usually scroll through and listen to the original work while ignoring the remixed shit. I just don't give a fist fuck for someone who cannot even try to make their own shit. There are too many artists on here who actually do create original tracks. I would rather listen to them than to waste my time on wastes of time. I don't give a fuck what you think about it. I don't care if your hemorrhoids start bleeding or your shingles flare up or even if you get cancer from reading this. In fact for those of you this applies to I hope you get mad as fuck. I hope your shitter shatters.
It's been a long time since the last time I posted here
I get where you're coming from, but I think it kind of depends on the person/style. I personally always put as much creativity and work into a remix as an original. I make more original mixes but I don't think they are worth any more than my remixes.
Just released two new tracks.
>alt rock, guitar
Here is my latest single, off of my upcoming fall LP
>trip-hop, microhouse, r&b relations
Here is my first single off the project.
Wouldn't mind some feedback on this. I especially wanna know what am I doing wrong here.
>Space jazz hop
>chill, electropop beats
Singer-songwriter with fretless bass/Chapman Stick/band version of singer-songwriter songs
>Apocalyptic Modern Jazz
>Tenorsax, Flugelhorn, Trombone + Trio Rhythm Section
I really enjoy the jazz breaks and space noises. You do a great job creating a chill atmosphere with your instrumentals and smooth basslines. Makes me feel like I am drinking in the worlds first space lounge. I really love the little changes and stops in the beat, really keeps you hooked in. Great work.
you have a really solid progressive sound. Your mix sounds very clean and uncluttered, this track is enjoyably simple. I especially like your spacey leads, they sit atop the track and guide us through. I feel that things do get a little too static; as someone has already said in your comments adding in some different percussive fills/ drum samples could help spice things up. I would also consider adding some bass to get a fuller low end. Good work though.
>cutesy raw sad folk
looking for feedback and to network and one day find an MC to work with consistently
Hey, I'm >>48786218 and thanks a lot for the feedback. This is the kind of feedback I needed. I've been trying to mix with pink noise lately and it seems to pay off. I'll work on the drum fills.
Whoa this is the closest thing to FlyLo I've ever heard on here. Really well put together and enjoyable to listen to
>King Krule sampled instrumental track
>i can flow better than u hop
LISTEN TO MY TUNEZ AND I SHALL REPLY WITH FEEDBACK EITHER ON HERE OR ON SC (MAINLY ON SC BC WHO DOESN'T WANT COMMENTS ON THEIR TRACKS) anyway...do it or die.
Your style really reminds me of Noisia. A lot.
This track feels somewhat nostalgic for some reason. Good, but IMO, needs more variety in the general melody.
The intro synth (and when it appears later) needs some more reverb IMO. And slightly lower volume.
Holy shit I love this, m8. It sounds like the old school house.
Well I appear to be on some sort of creative jag this weekend. Here's the third song I've recorded so far. It's a happy poppy-rocky ditty about depression eating. Hope you enjoy it!
> lo-fi chill beats
>Complex drum & bass
I'll be on the prowl for new, creative, innovative, exciting, or otherwise interesting music. I always try to leave useful feedback where possible.
>acoustic, shoegaze, post rock, experimental, electronic
Just started working on this yesterday. Still haven't gotten around to mixing and mastering yet, just some reverb and compression for now. Let me know what you think.
Radiator Dreams - Heatwave
Really good back to basics shoegaze
man i don't even listen to this music often but when I do, it's shit like this that I love. great work - very mellow mane.
not tryna offend you but this whole ep feels a little basic like I feel like you coulda put a lot more work into developing the tracks and making them a little more intricate. it just feels like samples put on top of a beat. they're nice samples though.
sound so unique. even the specific SOUNDS you use sound very unique, very well put together.
dude forreal prolly the chillest music i've ever heard on here. hold me plz. i would really like to see you work w some more eerie-ish music, i think you could kill it tbh.
PEEP ME AND I WILL GIVE YALL FEEDBACK . DON'T BE A HOE. ilyall.

Comment on soundcloud, I'll hit you back.
>exotic sample based hip hop instrumental
I just started producing seriously this year, and I try to incorporate any unique samples I can find
give me some feedback on what i have so far and i'll return
Love the first 15 seconds, but then it gets very repetetive. Need to give my ears a break from the sound and reintroduce it later on I think. You have an interesting base for a song, but gotta mix it up a bit to keep all the elements from just repeating too much.
I'd love to hear a remixed version of it.
The 2nd song on your soundcloud is really great. I <3'd it.
This is really strange to me, I like it
Probably my favorite music I've ever seen in these threads
Kinabulu and red are both really really dope
Heres my stuff: guitar/downtempo/samples/remixes and stuff
The songs in my spotlight are the songs I actually care about
> Mostly sample-based instrumentals
dude that "Where you At' was nice. The beat was really well executed. Keep at it!
Pre chill, i like!
Very chilled!, nice plucks sounds!
Play from 1:00 Onwards (Unless of course you like beatmatching)
Also looking for some honest feedback!
>EDM, IDM, New Age, Acid, Techno, Ambient, Drum n Bass, Experimental
well shit. tried making a new thread. Hadn't even realized this one was up.
>Brain Scratch, Hip Hop, Samples, Rap, Loops, Beats, Experimental, Lo-fi
just made my first track last night, really just looking for some input and opinions
This is a demo from my upcoming debut album. It's a song for your qtgf. enjoy and critique pls
A song I recorded yesterday
>psychedelic pop / neo-psychedelia
If anyone wants to record a drum track, that'd be nice...
Just made the closest thing I've ever made to a mash up. It's quite sample heavy to purely be labeled a mash up. But I hope some of you enjoy. Other songs ass well
I made this remix 8 months ago, and just recently remade it to show my progression over that span of time. You can check out the old version from 8 months ago here to see how far I've come
I also do garage and orchestral.
>Mostly dubstep and ambient
This was pretty apt
A rad way to die is really cool.
I like these aren't all straight forward and are a little surprising. Also a lot of sounds giraffage would use
This is a nice beat, although I feel like the side chain is a little excessive
Thanks man, I'm glad you enjoyed my stuff
i felt like it was indeed good shit. thanks to kind you person.
I felt as though it took me to another alternate dimension upon interglactic pathways across the nebulas blended into a blizzard from DQ, dipped in space sunshine particles that could possibly kill me but that's ok since i wouldnt mind dying like that. but i won't die, i got skin like a rhino. It's like music afterall, a little musik ain't kill nobdy
>indie label with a pretty diverse catalog.
>new tracks from lo-fi folk experimentalist Kootlefoosh
>rap, new song
Returning all feedback and commenting on your clouds. I hope you do the same :)
>any sounds i can get my laptop to make
just made a funky tune called "scowling and sulking and stuff", i'd like some feedback on it :)
also i like publicity and feelin good so if u culd stroke my ego it'd also be much appreciated
It's not really well mastered, but I think its fun to listen to. Tell me what you think.
>Chill out djent / prog metal ffo Cloudkicker
Made a nice playthrough also
thanks for the feedback. I'll return
as i commented, i think your voice manipulation is a good concept but you just need to find a point where it doesn't garble words
No one will listen at this late stage but hey. Fuck it.
I just commenting on a lot of your clouds guys. Keep em coming
You deserve to make love to your ears.
Shh. Just let it happen.
I see a lot of "just made this now posts". Remember to copyright.
I was really digging the waterfall's heartbeat and the gentle pads underneath it were carrying it along nicely. I was happy to see where it evolved.
Then the synths came. And they... well... they made me sad, frankly. I feel like you have the kernel of something kind of amazing there, but you need to scrap the synths and let the whole thing evolve.
Sorry if that's vague. It just felt like it went from being like floating down a rapid but somewhat relaxing river to being screeched at by a klaxon.
Maybe try them at a lower octave? I dunno.
have a listen if that's what you're into
Wow, this hits really hard- dadfeels are sadfeels. At first I was offput by how simple the lyrics were but like, you manage to weave them together with musical phrasings. Your voice kind of reminds me of Elliott Smith or Manchester Orchestra.
I really like this Greenjeans song. Reminds me a ton of early Death Cab but with deeper roots in emo. Rad. Best of luck running a label, dude! Recently started a label with my friend M. Fox. Right now we only have one release out but we have a bunch of stuff planned for the fall and winter and 2015.
Also here's one of the songs from M. Fox's upcoming EP:
>lofi, rock, jangles
And a song I'm working on, to be released on an album that likely won't be out for until early next year:
>folk, guitar pop, harmonies
Thanks so much man! I'm the guitarist of Greenjeans (I'm also one of four guys who run Snack-Time) and you totally nailed the Death Cab influence haha. Your stuff is really great Stranger is a fantastic song I'll be sure to check out your stuff in the future.
hey thanks a lot, glad you got something from it.
I really like the contrast between your lyrics and the chords you play...like the song sounds really upbeat for your lyrics.
really crisp production too.
feedback is appreciated^-^
>house / deep house
check my song out, leave a comment or follow and ill check yours and leave you some feedback
Do I need to say something else ?
>for fans of Ulver's Kveldssanger and Tenhi
This track has gotten a really good reception so far, it might end up being my most popular
I'm also working on a piano EP with https://soundcloud.com/asavary/lhorizon-ethere which I hope will receive the same enthusiasm.

>Chopped vocals, Durty Rhythms, Dark vibes
>Incredibly self-hating and sensitive personality, doubt everything i do and talk down on myself
>Secretly teach myself how to produce music for 5 years
>Dont tell or share with anyone in fear ridicule

>Send a few tracks to favorite record label
T-they will like it right? Oh god they are going to hate it i have wasted 5 years what the fuck am i even doing i cant produce music im so stupid i should just kill myself
Labels don't have much interest in how good your music is. They're more interested in how good you are perceived to be and how good you can make them look for signing you.
In this day and age and the current market it makes no sense for a label to sign a completely unheard of act. They are a business after all so it makes more sense to sign someone who has already amassed a following without their help as it's a surefire success.
You need to be a good networker without any funny business. They can smell it from a mile away since they are the ones who invented it. If you have two thousand twitter followers but are following a hundred thousand people they will notice. If you bought half of them off of fiverr they will notice.
Hope all goes well for you with the label but don't get disheartened if they don't respond. There has never been a better time to be an independent artist and you can always find your fans on bandcamp or beatport
