I Don't think so sweetie.
Never trust an addict, their brains are being controlled and they will stop short of nothing to protect their precious addiction.
Good music, regardless of the lyrical themes or your position on its themes can simply good music. You can't just deny that something is musically good just because it has lyrical themes that you disagree with. But the fact is that there IS no good druggie music. It is ALL based on their cancer-brained druglaced psuedo spiritual BULLSHIT and I don't like it. Oh its a taste thing right? NO. The music just flat out SUCKS! I don't want to hear some gay ass hippie telling me how WICKED COOL he is because he burned some shityt little plant and breathed it in. Big whoop! Let me know when Bach, Mozart, Tchaikovsky and the other greats of old took drugs just to write good music. Use your brains kids, not your garden.
And before you stoners even THINK about replying to me...
This is the only reply you'll ever get you drug addicted freak, and you're lucky for it. Go impose your destructive drug ideas on someone else. How about you turn yourself into the police, "friend"?

Why is 90s Bowie so often mocked and derided when it was probably his most experimental period outside of the Berlin trilogy and he made very fulfilling works in that era?
Because he was cheesy as fuck during that era and his music was just NIN for hipsters.
Because people got used to sellout Bowie, and when he went dark it caught everybody off guard.
Also, I don't get what you're saying, outside is considered his most underrated album, earthling is liked, and even black tie white noise and hours have got some good tracks.

Listen to the Leon outtakes, the guy knew what he was doing but he was forced to water it down since no studio would touch that with a ten foot pole
>>74862161
I used to mock it, then I spent more time with Outside and Earthling, and now I can't stop listening to them as much as his other work. It's nowhere as good as his best albums, but they're very catchy and out of his range, which makes it so interesting and fun to listen to.
Also, Strangers When We Meet is one of his best songs, ever.
I just don't know about Irene anymore...
dumb twiceshitters dont make me post it

I think Aesop is the type of artist that is actually 100% where he should be. He has a very reliable following that indulges his side projects. He's pretty well regarded by the press. And people tend to talk about him in a manner like "he's very good at what he does. Not the greatest MC of all time, but he has a respectable niche."
I think that's fine.
If I wanted to discover new words from a thesaurus I can do that myself. An audiobook seems kinda redundant.
