Any nu metal band's that are as goof as or better than linkin park
Any horn line music
Any classic music like rnb and country.
Orchestra is wanted also
Also metal but not the demonic kind

Holy Fuck guys.
Name an album that more consistently shoots itself in the foot on every track. The songs are begging to be good but nobody in Brockhampton has any vocal talent outside maybe Kevin Abstract
i like merlyn wood on the first song
>no threads about the best album of the year so far
Let's fix that.

nigga he's talking about the rap industry
he used to romance it, but now he's done with it now that he knows what it's like
it's like having your first girlfriend, it's all lovey dovey and innocent until you get sick of each other and just want someone to get you off
also, the next two lines
>Bridges burned, all across the board
>But what for?
shows how he regrets falling in love
I'm new to /mu/ so be gentle on me if this is asked a lot etc., but I'm a hopeless fanboy of the Smiths, Gene, and other kind of "intelligent" British pop, I guess you'd call it. Can anyone point me in a good direction of other bands to look into? I've had the same favorite albums for years now, and while I'll always love them, it would be great to get something new into the mix. Thanks!
Suede
James
Wedding Present

“Is it so bad, then, to be misunderstood? Pythagoras was misunderstood, and Socrates, and Jesus, and Luther, and Copernicus, and Galileo, and Newton, and every pure and wise spirit that ever took flesh. To be great is to be misunderstood.”
-Gucci Mane during a radio interview with Sway in the morning
Gucci Mane seems to be pretty smart.
“at one time, a freethinker was a man who had been brought up in the conceptions of religion, law and morality, who reached freethought only after conflict and difficulty. But now a new type of born freethinkers has appeared, who grow up without so much as hearing that there used to be laws of morality, or religion, that authorities existed... In the old days, you see, if a man - a Frenchman, for instance- wished to get an education, he would have set to work to study the classics, the theologians, the tragedians, historians and philosophers- and you can realize all the intellectual labour involved. But nowadays he goes straight for the literature of negation, rapidly assimilates the essence of the science of negation, and thinks he's finished.”
-Future, in the notes to DS2

The concept of smart people making dumbed down music seems entirely alien to most people.
It comes down to the "if it was so easy, everyone would be doing it" thing. Not sure how people can't respect Gucci and Future for how much they've changed hip-hop and music in general.
Why am I listening to this?
