Only midnight here but I'm listening to Depeche Mode's Black Celebration.
Thoughts on King gizzard and the lizard wizard?
Fucking shit. Just fucking awful.

Has /mu/ ever started a band? I mean have member of /mu/ ever gotten together and actually collaborated on songs together or something like that? I think it would be an interesting experiment.
Not that I know of, it would be pretty tough with all the anonymity of the users on the site
>member of /mu/

i don't know but I know they fucked up multiple attempts to make cover albums
Vulnicura [One Little Indian, 2015]
I always thought she was too lifelike for him anyway ("Stonemilker," "Atom Dance") *
>tfw even christgau is a waifufag
>>74638451
>Atom Dance
The first 2/3rds of the album in general shit all over that song. I don't agree with Stonemilker either but I can at least buy it.
why is he so good?
Hes playing the meta game alongside Father John Misty.
>>74638447
where to start with him? Is he really as good as Mark?
>>74638487
Hes not as good but Pure Comedy is fuckin great. So is I Love You Honeybear. Havent heard the first one though.
ITT guess an album by their RYM descriptors
>>74638323
probably tylo be chillin
remember when the descriptors for MBDTF were "boasting, money"? that was classic
What's the better Madlib-produced collaboration album and why?
Madvillainy.
Apart from me just liking Doom more as an MC than Freddie Gibbs, I thought the beats were better and the lack of features made the album more intimate and cohesive. Pinata felt like a complilation of rappers on Madlib beats (even though Gibbs was on a majority of the songs) and Madvillain felt like a duo project of Doom and Madlib. That's just my opinion, I like both albums

i liked it at first as far as pop songs go
of course it was played to its death, but eh
I understand that rap record sales modestly eclipse rock record sales per big label sales reports. But... that's not how the majority of the world listens to music (i.e., buying cds or mp3s from itunes).
So what makes you believe that this factoid is not just a relic of a dying industry and hip hop fans being too stupid to figure out how to torrent music?
if you care about what the world's most popular genere is u never had sex accept with your dad lmao
>>74638135
Stellar, well thought out argument and post. And I don't care what the most popular genre is. It just seems like a totally unprovable statement.
>>74638113
How many rock fans around the world really have access to a private tracker? Probably not enough to meaningfully affect sales numbers, no?
I've been kinda digging this lately, missed out on the Death Grips train, but also been digging Clipping for a few years. Thoughts on ho99o9, this record, their discography and other shit like it?
How the fuck are you even supposed to pronounce that name?
>>74638528
Horror
>>74638528
Not OP but I'm guessing it's pronounced "horror"
