Well, I remember when I first drew her, I made them just like her mother's, then a little further down the road I was asked to change them to more humanlike freckles. I was asking to see if maybe opinions have changed again or what.

The thing is with digital, I'm looking at it head-on, but drawing without looking at the pencil hitting the paper is very unnatural, whereas drawing traditionally, I'm looking directly at what I'm drawing and have complete control, but I'm drawing on a flat surface at an angle which fucks up my perspective.

In fact, I scanned the picture of Cider, but realized I drew her head way too big, so I need to tweak it.

Let's say that there's a stable portal back to Earth and that for (insert reason here) you have to return for a year or two. You will need to bring your partner and kids with you as well.

How do they cope and do they like it here? Are they able to make friends? I expect most satyr's could pass as human so long as they hid their legs.

They probably could with a little bit of concealing clothing. Baggy pants to hide the hocks, boots to hide the hooves, etc.

Drakes probably wouldn't need baggy pants, since their legs are pretty similar to human legs.

The biggest issue by far would probably be the tail. Pony satyrs could maybe get away with just stuffing it down one of the legs of their pants and/or shaving the hairs off so it's just the dock, but drakes might have to just cut it off and keep it from growing back for as long as needed.

It's just part of the reason it's become the buzzword that it has.

It's a condition that's fairly misunderstood, and often has no glaring signs to outsiders looking in.
So it's an easy grab among those who self diagnose, or just like to claim to have this or that for oppression points. The latter group enjoys using it as a shield, hurting people who actually have it.

I'm not trying to be rude, for the record. I feel legitimately bad for the actual sufferers who are caught in the middle of these manipulators and the soured public perception.
As someone who grew up in a family with several people who work in the mental health field, I've seen my share of people suffering through no fault of their own because of other people lack of knowledge or concern.

It's the nature of mascots, really. Hope's never had any full siblings. Half siblings existence can be removed or added as a setting demands, but a full would feel like an glaring omission if said child were firmly established.

You're getting better with this style. But I still prefer your other style you used with the Hope points and stuff.
Not to try to be rude, but your main can be pretty rough around the edges sometimes.
On this one, for example, the shoulder could be reworked with more subtle lines and the neck feels like it could be shorter and less constricted looking if that makes sense.

I like the way the head itself was changed though. It looks good.
