I have to admit, I was part of the initial troll (before /mlp/ noticed, not after you guys started cleaning).
I'm sorry about that. Please know that, however it turned out, the 'attack' was not made with malicious intent. At least that's not what I got out of it. What I understood what it was, was testing how far we could fill an empty portrait before you guys would notice. I stopped when /mlp/ noticed, as was initially the plan, but some didn't. Still, I do not think this was done with malicious intent, as the nature of the convo in the discord heavily suggested to me that the entire thing was a massive shitpost for laughs. That does not mean I say we did nothing wrong. We did, and I yet again apologize for it.
After the troll, I was pissed at /mlp/ for the disproportional retaliation. Again sorry for my sudden passive aggressive outburst, both on discord and on the previous thread. After calming down, I realized that the most damaging griefing was not done by /mlp/ themselves, but by rogue factions and saltlords. I jumped to conclusions. I put the entire thing behind me, and hope you at /mlp/ can do the same.

Skimmed and some other mods are still salty and passive aggressive towards /mlp/. Please do not take this as an act of aggression. I can't speak for all of /vp/, but personally I just want this all to be over. Behind us.

The problem is, not many in the /vp/ discord are online at time. I'm online kinda often and I see some other people sometimes as well, but most of the time, the only members online are the mods (and corndog). I don't exactly know what the general consensus of /vp/ is, since I only ever really appear in the discord instead of /vp/ threads.

Even though I do not agree with SKIMMED's behavior, I will not condemn him for it I still want to have a positive relation with all of the mods as I have so far. But as I said, I can not say what the opinion of /vp/ is in it's entirety. Most of the members are quiet most of the time. But besides skimmed and some other guys talking about pony antics, I don't think anyone wants us to stay hostile.

Just to make sure, I will soon ask @everyone what their opinion on the matter is, and I will get back to you. But I don't think even half of them were aware of this entire ordeal to begin with. Not about the troll, nor about the retaliation.

Allright, so far the mods seem to be in agreement to let it all go. I say the mods, because I pinged @here and 4 people showed up. Skimmed, corndog, another mod and a /vp/ member of equal rank to me. We 5 seem to be in agreement to let it all go, but I really can't tell about the other ones. Since Skimmed agreed to it, I think the others will as well, not to mention the 80% or so members who had no idea what was going on. I think there are only a few active members on the discord anyways (like 10-15 or so at most?).

To the anon making Lyra. I think you should make the dithering a simple checker-pattern. Someone said the other Bon Bon looked to have some sort of skin disease, and I really can't blame them.
The color isn't perfect but it's less of an eyesore. I made pic related a while back, but it was too different from the others to be chosen. But I think it turned out alright, anyway, and it could perhaps be used as a reference for other Lyra prospects.

I think the biggest disconnect with me was the fact that I was asleep during most of it. The timing of the troll happened very late in the evening for me. I went to sleep when there was mild griefing on the water mural, and thought like most people on /vp/ that /mlp/ were just being butthurt babies because we worked on their space. I now know that this could all have been prevented with just helping to reduce our own damage, which apparently we did not. My side of the story was basically seeing a bit of retalliation from an innocent troll (remember: what I thought at the time) and going to sleep, only to wake up with a shitton of the mural griefed. then I threw my passive agressive hissy fit and the rest is history. Was I awake and aware, I would have had no problem with helping out, but I was unaware of events at the time. I guess that's where most of the misunderstanding came from.
