One of these is parallels is mares seeking and supporting their close friends in times of emotional crisis. Twilight is emotionally devastated by the discussion, and she has several close friends she can and probably will talk to about it, many of whom have considerable social influence. Anon's poor social skills will bite him in the ass, lessening his chances of successfully assimilating into the culture itself. This is a significant threat to his well being.

It does make sense, I feel the same way. I think it's something that's really important to a lot of people. Being understood, seeing that not only are they not alone in this pit of strong emotions they've probably never even felt before, but that it's something others share and cherish. And on top of that there are people who try to help others understand it, sort it out. I know for sure this placed helped me a lot back in the day, so I myself always try to help as much as I can using my own waifufag experience.

Seeing all kind of different stories does humble you, and understanding them makes you understand yourself better as well. It's a collective bowl of bittersweet love anyone can contribute to and take something from. Knowing that in this cold and uncaring world there are people who actually feel happy because they've found that one thing worth living for, even if it's not real, is one of the most beautiful and heartwarming things for me.
