Personally I think that just stems from the fact that a lot of our anons have cross interests so fetish anons also talk a lot of SFW stuff because they are not one tricks ponies. The pig headedness if any comes from being told to migrate to /sat/ to talk SFW when the conversations are being carried and made in /sad/.

But I do know people here want to keep it as SFW as possible so I direct them there. If they still choose to be here there is not much else I can do.

Pretty much this.
Most conversations don't just start out of nowhere, but branch off something else that was posted. This goes both ways. A porn pic of a cute underdiscussed satyr could spawn SFW lore discussion about the satyr, or a safe pic could spawn sexual discussion about a cute satyr. Usually discussions tend to continue in whatever thread they start in, rather than anyone bothering to forcibly move them to another thread.
