Are you actually taking in any money from this? Open a separate checking account for income and costs related to plush making to make accounting and taxes easy.

Doing legit self-employed taxes is a pain. But the benefit (in addition to not having the IRS come after you for unreported income) is you get to avoid income tax on any money spent on materials or equipment.

As for the folks, tell them you have a side gig selling crafts on the internet. Because apparently people pay quite a bit for custom stuffed animals.

They'll ask what you're making. No reason to be coy about the fact that you're making stuffed My Little Pony characters. But you can easily shift to finance (how much a commission runs, cost of materials, hours of labor to net profit) which is dry and not awkward. Shit, they'll probably be proud of you.

The first pony plushie I ever got was my BaB Fluttershy, as a Christmas gift in 2013 from my grandma. I don't know how she knew I was into the show or who my favorite pony was, but I don't think it was a coincidence.

First thing I did once I had unwrapped and opened Fluttershy's box was give her a hug and a light kiss on her snout. Admittedly, I was hesitant to sleep with her, but when I woke up the next morning with her in my arms, I knew I had nothing to worry about.

I posted a pic of her and the ponies that have joined her since then in the last thread. My dorm is tiny and cramped, but as long as they're here with me, I feel more content.

Still waiting on suggestions of cute things to do with them, though. :)

That made me laugh way harder than it should have.

For the first time in well over a year (maybe two) I can finally post a progress update on my Dash. Sister needs a pocket sewn back onto a shirt and it gave me the motivation to start again on my plushie. Finished up the tail which has been half done since forever. Despite over sizing, the tail STILL came out too short vertically so it looks kind of weird without something sitting under it.

If I can keep my motivation, I might be able to finish tomorrow. I still need to pattern out the back mane and sew it all on.

Honestly my Luna is a good size for cuddles. Lewd is a given considering she has two holes.

Nah, the vinyl Hongyi uses is really soft. its 0.5mm thick. You adjust firmness by how much air you have in there. For cuddles, you have less. For lewd and using the holes, you have more.

Holes happen, it's just par for the course. Same thing with getting seam splits in plushies. I beat the shit out of mine though and they're holding up well. My Cadence has one small pinhole that I've fixed, and thats the one I've really abused.

Its alright, mine isn't modded but its pretty good otherwise. It was given to me, I didn't buy it. If you wanted one for yourself, make sure you ask for at least one hole.

I wish the backs were longer so I could ride on the backs easier and not have to sit on the wings, but I think if I scaled them up to 2 meters vs 1.5 meters, that would solve that issue.

I think you may be underestimating how much better it CAN be. I had a pillow before getting a LS and while the pillow is still nice, the LS is much better in so many ways. I spose it depends on what you want to do with it though.

If its JUST cuddling then a pillow is only a little worse (being able to actually wrap their hooves around you a bit is suuuuuper great though).

If its also Lewding,having an actual place to do it is waaaaaaaaaaay better. By a lot. Fuck, its pretty much just as good as actual sex when you have it setup right (took a while to figure it all out though).

Its got a hidden zipper pocket that fits any reasonably sized toy. I use a Sugarstar from bad dragon, though an ona hole or fleshlight would work too. some makers also do insertable sleeves instead.

Can't speak about inflatable ponies specifically, but inflatables in general are very huggable and enjoyably squeaky (if you're into that kinda thing - I love me some shiny stuff like latex, vinyl/PVC, leather etc. (see >>29756915 ), so it's totally up my alley) but because the air makes them quite firm, and they can be quite big, their reluctance to deform makes them tricky to cuddle "with" (e.g. on a couch or bed). Yes, since everything is made to order, you can tell them to make something larger or smaller. Will they get it exactly right? Hopefully.

If you're interested in the crouching fluttershy, I'd still get at least one if not two holes in it ( I believe its 80 per hole) but otherwise, it should be pretty good in the pool. I used some of my other horses in the pool and it was the best thing I ever did with them.

Owner of >pic related here. I think he actually made two but hey, I can give a review.

I don't know if he's fixed the issue with his embroidery machine, but there's a could big lines through her eyes. Her wings are little pockets with holes inside them, where you can reach in and feel the foam. She's EXTREMELY lightly stuffed, even a pillow is firmer than her...which, while it was amazing right away, has made it so her joints are floppy, and the 'hugging back' forelegs tend to flop to the side. That being said, snuggling against her, using her foreleg as a pillow and being the small spoon is fantastic.

The biggest thing I don't like about her, though is that she's not made out of minky. I don't know what fabric it is exactly, but it feels kind of like felt.

Owner of the other giga Luna here. I think this review is pretty much spot on. The quality is not as high as something like agatrix/QT/PG, but for the cost its hard to beat.

She is the biggest plush I own and she's super snuggly, but the lower quality minky/fabric is something you have to get used to.

I have two large lifesize pones, so I'm not interested in a body pillow for cuddling purposes. I'm interested in getting one to replace my regular sleeping pillow. My idea is to lay the "body pillow" sideways across my bed, and lay my head in the middle. Currently, I use two regular pillows, but using one long pillow seems simpler.

Newbie mistake - didn't adjust any proportions when scaling her up, so the head is a tad big. Being the first thing I've sewn besides the practice one, couldn't make a flat minky mane look good on her. Faux fur should help, just have to re-do the tail too. Hopefully I will be living on my own again soon so I can finish her. However she comes out is fine, she was for fun and learning, probably won't sell her.

lonely depression and a need for attention by someone giving you so much so suddenly is jarring to say the least. The green guy suddenly flips over and puts you with your
head on a pillow and tucks you in, muttering somehting about not being able to sleep while cuddling something, kisses you on the forehead and mutters a goodnight. You lay
awake thinking while the movie plays, and slowly drift off to sleep.
