I remember it vaguely, but I doubt I could find it again. Something about how Anon can't tell/doesn't care since he's not a pony, and Rainbow loves him for that, and then the usual hijinks happen. Then, like most prompts that gather any interest, it gets a general for a few threads and then dies. That feels like a long time ago, though.

This way is easier. What if I want a picture of berry punch being sad? Search "sad berry" what if I want a green of vinyl? "Vinyl greentext" what if I want all the greens? "Greentext"
If I start putting them in folders things like greens would end up where? In the ponies folder or the greens folder? It's a weird system, I know but I can find any image I want just by typing the words related to it. It's like derpibooru.

Think of it this way. Instead of making a folder I make a file with the name of the folder in it. That way if it would end up in multiple folders I just put two names in there. I also save a lot of images so it is quicker.

I imagine you'd normally catch those because of the next joke, but are just sleep deprived:

One or two other proof-reading level problems (like grammatically, "took the highroad" should've been "take the highroad"), maybe some sentences that could be more polished. Dammit I'm falling into critique mode again.
It's pretty great writing, good ideas and overall structure. I particularly liked the date auction; one of my favorite ways to introduce an appearance problem (even if I had a little trouble believing there wasn't even a bid for charity's sake).
And I like that foundation, with Anon teasing her about everything except her looks; it sets up a nice contrast to the past we can imagine where she's either getting mocked for her looks, or getting pitied.

Nah, he's me. I hate myself more than anyone else possibly could, so I make myself miserable. I have severe clinical depression, so it's not exactly hard to just let the mind numbing existential pain constantly wash over me. I've gone though multiple success-failure cycles because of it, as well as my aspergers and ADHD. I'm technically a genius(155+ IQ), but I'm so deep within my own depression and self hatred that every time I'm close to success I either consciously or subconsciously drag myself down. For example, I was a straight A student until 7th grade, where my teacher for one class implemented binder checks to make sure we were tracking things. I got a perfect score on all the tests, but a C overall because I didn't do my binder. I could have, and knew I should have, but I couldn't. Every time I went to do it I was overwhelmed with existential despair and would just lay on the ground for hours. I was back to perfect grades after that which lasted until my sophomore year of high school. This time the same thing happened whenever I did any homework. I forced myself to do enough to keep a B+ average, but every day was awful and I wanted to just die. Then I finally got an actual diagnosis, and some meds. They helped a bit and I graduated high school extremely easily.

My first semester away at college was horrible and I barely remember any of it. My second was worse, and I had a complete mental breakdown. I snapped and literally couldn't leave my dorm room for a week. It was a single room, luckily, so nobody knew how bad I really was. I couldn't even go near my door without puking. Eventually my parents freaked out because I didn't answer my phone at all the whole week, and texted that they would call campus security if I didn't answer. I gave them half answers and avoided any details, but I ended up withdrawing that semester and voiding the classes/grades from it. They still have no idea how bad it was. I don't even want to share how bad it was. Suffice to say, I was a mess. If we skip to now, I've done some therapy and I've gone back to a different college that is closer by. I want to give up and just waste away every single day, but I'm more afraid of death than anything else. It's the only reason I haven't killed myself. I'll probably be dead by the time I'm 30(21 now). The only reason people still think I'm vaguely sane is because I've had my whole life to practice lying about my emotions. So, yeah.

I don't know why I'm posting this, since nobody gives a fuck and this isn't the place for this type of thing, but I'm going to post it anyway because I might as well bump with content.

Hey, nice stuff you have going here. You paint characters well, and make events and dialog flow into each other well. But it kills me to see it ruined by grammatical mistakes.

First, where are you typing this? MS Word, while overpriced, sorts out almost all of my grammar errors for me. If you can't torrent that, try out some other freeware office clients with good realtime grammar checkers. Also check out Grammarly. I get the premium version through a client of mine (professional writer) but I'm pretty sure it has some nice free features.

You seem to be a relatively new writer, and if that's the case, don't worry about these mistakes. Just fix them. Soon enough your skills will improve drastically. Hell, probably even after finishing up this story. Check out the Writefags' Guild threads too for pointers or review.

Hello, I am sorry for the errors you have pointed out. I've been doing this close to three years now and the comments to my green have stayed the same. Good ideas, bad grammar. Even had someone ask if I was a native english speaker. Regardless, I appreciate your criticism, though I must apologize, but I will not change my attitude towards writing greentext. Primarily, because it's not practical for me. When I review or check my writing it takes a thorough deep clean to get the kinks out. Even with Microsoft Word, I still miss the mark a lot of the times. So what usually takes half an hour to write turns out to be 3 hours of meticulous rearranging and measuring every word. Not that I'm not up for giving quality, I think it's counter intuitive to what greentext writing is about: Just gunning for what you want to write and gettin ther fass. That's also why I'm skeptical of the writefag general. The quality might suffer, but it's not meant to be pretty. It's meant for fast delivery, at least in my eyes. I apologize for the grammatical errors and hope that doesn't eject you from reading the future green, but my prerogative when writefagging is to go fass and deliver a lot. There is a time when I do corrections and send words to an editor for review, but I save that for fimfiction. I am sorry.

Honestly, the volume and seriousness of some of these errors makes sections of your green difficult to read. You don't need to go back and meticulously rewrite everything, but running it through a grammar checker or two and making adjustments would help improve readability.
