>>26046305 What happened was a disater. No surprise at all. It was a Horse News panel. It was shit before it started, it was shit while it was happening, and it was even shit after the panel. If you had any faith in it at all you are straight retarded. With mostly everyone being drunk and no control or organization whatsoever, there's no way that panel ever had a fighting chance. Peter New roasting HN was really the only good part.
>>26049220 Only thing I remember is that he made fun of chelis i think, he asked them what counted as a legitimate complaint, and then he called the panel boring and left. I also remember chelis acting like a goddamn autist halfway through the panel
>>26053340 HN has a fat fuck making it even more shit; and some guy at the panel last night accused HN of taking lewds of cosplayers adjusting their tits at BABS. Sadly, he provided no proof and it fizzled out quickly.
>>26054573 He compared himself to a fucking rape victim because of the pic. Between that and accusing random people that had nothing to do with it of taking the pic he kind of ruined any sympathy many had for him.
>Only find out about this the week before it occurs >mfw I'm in the Navy and on leave for my ship's second period >mfw I flew home to visit my parents for one of the three weeks I'm off >mfw that week included this weekend
I-it's not like I wanted to go to anything like this anyways
But just my like, I am out of San D the ONE FUCKING WEEK horse-related shenanigans happen in-town.
To be frank, I looked it up when I discovered its existence, and it looks more like a glorified local meetup -- the 'guests of honor' are exclusively horsefamous youtubers and shit, no one from the show staff at all (unless that changed VERY recently).
So normal awkward IRL meetup + no staffers to justify the meeting = probably better off being out of town.
I met and talked with the guy who was organizing the con a few months back. He told me there was gonna be a guest who had never made an appearence at a con. Wouldn't tell me who it was. Anybody have any idea who it might be?
>>26055897 I knew full well ahead of time that this con was going to be small and not too much happening, but i'm still having a great time hanging with my usual convention buddies. Kinda hard for me to not go when I have nothing to do and have no friends at home anyways.
It's not that I think that it would be any good, but frankly even the cringeworthy moments would be better than being here.
Literally the only thing I'm doing is going out to dinners with them, taking my mother shooting for the first time (okay, that was probably the one thing that I feel like had tangible benefits, she REALLY needs to get used to it), and otherwise just sitting at the table with my computer while they're sitting in the living room watching TV. It's been like this for like 4 days, since I got home, and will be until I fly back to my place on Tuesday.
It's not that I don't like my parents, it's that I don't like forced interactions with them. I'm not really the "AWWW IT'S SO NICE TO JUST BE AROUND YOU, YA KNOW?" type of guy. So spending a week here is fucking torture.
And the really shitty thing? Fuck, man, I probably would be doing the SAME thing back home! The only difference being, I blew like 400 bucks on roundtrip tickets out here.
The point is that, autismal to the max as it might have been, going to the meetup (preferably with copious amounts of alcohol before, during, and afterwards) would have been infinitely preferable to the boring hell I've been in.
>>26054573 >>26055051 what bathroom incident, someone at a con snuck a pic of him as he was taking a shit?
actually if that is it I can kind of understand. had a creepy freak of a father that found it funny to try and sneak pics of my mum and sister in the shower. so people taking pictures of someone when they dont want to is a sore spot to me.
>>26061122 He was using a urinal with no shoes on. I don't have it saved, but his face was profile, he was fully clothed (sans shoes) and you couldn't see anything dirty. Some excited anon took it thinking "omg celebrity how cool" and then thought Peter would think it was funny. He didn't.
>>26061532 This. If any staff questions you just pull some name out of your ass and pretend you're a famous pony YouTuber or something, start moaning about how privileged they are to have you be there. They'll probably be too autistic to challenge you.
