I just had a shower thought. Equestria Girls series is very silimar to Star Wars prequel series.

Any legitimate reason why EqG shittier than the show proper? At least Pinkie's antics weren't cringe inducing like in the post-season 2 show, Dash didn't crash on everything every two seconds and Fluttershy wasn't abused like Laverne Hooks in Police Academy for laughs. That's three reasons right there why EqG is less of a shit than the show nowadays.
