It does lack a lot of bass for most of the songs that was heard in the soundtrack. One case I think it's really good is in the song "Shine Like Rainbows" where its mixing is entirely different and it sounds a whole lot more spacious overall, especially for the voices. It's really good. I also like the version of "Rainbow Rocks" better.

What becomes apparent is that they literally just shifted the EQ for all the sounds in the tracks to emphasize the bass, and what ends up happening is that a lot of the vocals sound pretty fucking muddy in the soundtrack. I actually prefer the movie versions, the vocals which are the main emphasis in the songs really sound a whole lot better and natural.

That's what i get for having 1300 dollars in stuff just for listening to music.

Yep, it is pretty glorious. I spent the money myself from my summer job this past summer. My mom and dad thought I was insane to spend it, but I have no buyers remorse. These headphones are pure ecstasy.

Yeah, also another thing is that volume-wise, the tracks are quieter on the movie versions overall, and that's a good thing since the "loudness war" that goes on with most music just ruins the quality.

The more and more I listen to the movie versions of the tracks, I like them a whole lot better. The sound is overall a lot more clean. I don't get why they had to ruin the album versions like they did, I didn't really notice at first until I listened to the blu-ray rips.

Saturday, its going to be Saturday that it will be released

The only reason its been changing at all is the huge amount of voices we have to work with and an underestimation on my part of the time it would actually take, but were pretty solid on Saturday as of right now, animation has started and were over 50% complete with voices, 30% of which was done in the last two days

As far as starting another thread I don't think that will be necessary, I think the lack of activity is a clear indication that anyone who wanted to participate already has, so we'll ultimately let this thread die off and start a new thread on Saturday when we release this on Youtube.

I've got in touch with a few good candidates for where to upload it and I'm pretty sure we'll do an article with Horse News, so be excited for that.

Otherwise know that we're hauling ass to get this thing done and we're hoping you will all love the final product, it's meant to represent /mlp/, in all its autism, and glory.
