I'm posting my MTG list of what deck each Geah would play and no one's gonna stop me

>Hibiki plays R/G Aggro with pure pump strategies and little to no removal. Favorite card is Electrostatic Pummeler
>Tsubasa plays W/U fliers with some cards that tap opponent's creatures. Also has a Samurai tribal deck that she plays even if it's not that great
>Chris is U/R storm combo spellslinger who maximizes her plays in order to get as many grapeshot hits as possible. Her favorite card is still Lightning Bolt though
>Maria just copies whatever's popular in the meta right now and sells her old deck in order to feed Kirika/Shirabe. Currently playing Mardu Vehicles since she's good at piloting it
>Kirika plays a janky B/R chaos deck with stuff like Havoc Festival and Master of Cruelties. It's got lots of skeletons in it

Magic has it's 5 colors (WUBRG, Blue is U for some reason). You can play as many colors in a deck as you want, but you'll want to keep it to 1-2 usually. Each color does something better than others, like blue is better at card draw but black is better at graveyard recursion.

Hibiki would play a deck that focuses on getting big creatures out and pumping them out with cards to make them stronger like Craterhoof Behemoth or Overcome. Electrostatic Pummeler is the main card in a budget Red/Green deck that plays to this strategy and also has a giant robot arm for fisting.

Tsubasa is a wing and likes creatures with flying. birds/angels/sphinxes/drakes all reside in White and Blue, so she takes those colors. The tapping thing is a reference to the knife thing to hold her opponents in place. Samurais were a creature type in a Not!Japan themed set with samurais and ninjas and spirits and shit. They weren't very good (much like most of the block)

Storm is a keyword from an older block that lets you copy that spell a number of times based on how many spells you've played that turn. With the proper hand you can easily deal out a 1-turn kill with it, the key card here being Grapeshot. Lightning Bolt is one of the more famous cards in Magic since it's been around since the start and can fit in pretty much any deck running red.

Back in the early days of Magic three terms were coined for different types of magic players. You have the Timmy, the guy who likes playing big monsters with no real strategy and just wants to have fun playing, the Johnny, the guy who's super into the game and is all about deckbuilding and figuring out combos with cards, and Spikes, super competitive dude who just wants to win at all costs. In Yugioh Joey would be the Timmy, Yugi the Johnny, and Kaiba the Spike.

Mardu Vehicles is the dominant deck in Standard (The main competitive format) right now, alongside mono-black Zombies and W/U Monument. Mardu is just shorthand for White/Black/Red and comes from the Tarkir block. It was pretty notorious during the Aether Revolt days since there was no solid answer to it (For reference, 6 out of the top-8 decks at a recent tournament were Mardu Vehicles). Yugioh equivalent would probably be Blackwings. Also Maria Kart jokes

Kirika is dumb and Chaos players are dumb since they usually don't pack win-conditions and just want to play cards like Scrambleverse or Possibility Storm and just see what happens.

I'm assuming you know what milling is, and Blue/Black does that better than any other color combination. There's lots of effects that create parallel draw situations (If they draw a card you can draw a card too) and tons of ways to just have your opponent draw 20+ cards on a turn and empty their deck. Black also does a bunch of graveyard stuff too so you might be using stuff from both their graveyard and your own. Cat tribal's because of Shul Shagana's cat ears and that they've been getting a push in the last few sets.

Imagine back in the early 2000s Blue Eyes White Dragon was actually good asides from being a 3000/2500 and fusion material, and was an evil dragon wizard/planeswalker/mastermind/book connoisseur/pharaoh. That's Nicol Bolas, one of Magic's earliest villains who exists in card form (Sorry Yawgmoth) who's a big costly flying beatstick that makes you discard your hand if you let him hit you. He's also got some plans going around in the last few sets so he's relevant again.

Anyone else feeling the event fatigue in XDU? It's been event after event and now we have events overlapping. There's very little cooldown time to a point where you have to constantly be checking your 3 timers to see if you can do something. I get the game is new and they're trying to keep the audience hooked, but it's a bit hard to keep up with everything. I watched the first four seasons of this show. I was really distracted by how everyone had the same spiky bangs in the first season.
