Catching up with the movies and such, I initially thought it was nonsense that a Rider as basic as 3 could have taken down the likes of Wizard, Gaim, and Fourze; fighters who have access to more advanced technology and outright supernatural powers. But it was a bit more understandable when we were told that 3 got to them while they were early in their careers and the fact that while 3 is a heavily armored cyborg with enhanced everything, many of his Heisei successors are just regular dudes in power armor shells.

I'm kind of glad Rider is starting to move away from the "all powers combined" final form. Granted Ghost had Grateful as a midseason, but Mugen was its own thing and Ex-Aid doesn't even have a form like that. The only Rider between Decade and Ghost I can recall not having a form like that is OOO.

W Xtreme didn't really have the combined powers of his previous forms. He just used them as fuel for his shield finisher, which was a rainbow laser beam that had nothing to do with what Cyclone, Heat, Luna or Joker actually did.

OOO didn't have any Combos that combined the powers of the others.

Fourze had Cosmic combine all forty Switches, so that's one.

Wizard had All Dragon, but that wasn't his final form. Infinity never even cast any spells, so we have no idea what its magic would have been like.

I just realized something.

The Ride Players and Cronus don't have Game Areas when they transform. All the other Riders do.

Energy Items come with the Game Area.

I can understand Kuroto thinking Cronus was strong enough to not need them but what the fuck Kuroto.

It's not enough you make all the players into mooks but you deny them access to basic power ups that literally all the Riders they're supposed to try and defeat have.

The only way to get any stronger is to do whatever customization bullshit Nico did to get her stats, and she only caps out at around Level 10 while the strongest non-Gemdeus Bugsters are Parad and Graphite at Level 99.

Even if everything went according to Kuroto's plan Parad would still be Level 50, which as was shown is easily strong enough to OTK Ride Players without breaking a sweat.

I give Kamen Rider Chronicle a 0/10 would not buy again.

EXCITE is like the Over-Time of translations.
TVN and RTA are like as literal as it gets.

EXCITE seems to win for me for consistency, and a majority of the time, they do it better, and sometimes they miss the mark.

But as of these like past 6 episodes, EXCITE's been strong because everything is exposition dumps constantly, and I think they handle it better.

TVN is good.

They minimized their "untranslations."
They'll keep japanese places intact, but they will literally have a smaller text on top of it in parantheses that will say the actual name.

Best of both worlds on how to handle translation notes.

It's also not done by takenoko, so it's actually well done.

The effects are horrid as usual, but sometimes TVN beats even EXCITE in speed.
