Those are the things I actually enjoy the least. It's as if they saw that the fans liked Dan so they brought him back but his eccentricities just feels too forced now, it's almost like beating a dead horse. Like that kid that did something funny once and saw that everyone laughed then kept on doing it until it stopped being funny and got annoying instead.
Chronicle/Dan Masamume is also one of the most unconvincing and flat villains in a long time for me, and Chronicle as a Rider is fairly boring in action scenes and the time-stop gimmick already feels old to me.
Hiiro's betrayal isn't doing anything for me either. It was coming from a mile away and just brings the show back to the way it was at the start. Hell, it hasn't even hindered Emu at all in saving a patient, or had any real consequences. Why have him turn in the first place if it's not going to effect the show in any way whatsoever? It would have been so much better if him interfering at resulted in Emu actually failing to save a patient for once, instead of always somehow, always, curing them and beating the bugster before they get too stressed out. That would have actually given some weight to his betrayal, other than just inconveniencing Emu and causing him to shed a few tears. In his pursuit to save muh Saki, he actually caused a patient to die, one thing that would disqualify him from being a Doctor and Rider, and give some room for a mini redemption arc. But you just KNOW he's never going to do any real harm or damage on the "villain" side before he goes back to CR. I get that it's like this in most Rider shows, but especially with Ex-Aid it really feels like there aren't any stakes because you know exactly how it'll end and that everyone can be saved, and that Emu will without fail save the patient because not a single patient has been lost so far, and even the few people who got game over'd will come back because everyone who has died so far has, surprise, come back.

Dan never got flowers though, so at least in his case it's clear his return was always planned. I agree that bringing back other characters lessened the stakes though, but I disagree about your suggestion regarding Hiiro.

That would just result in a big drama episode with him immediately leaving Cronus only to become an unlicensed doctor like Taiga. It'd actually have the smallest effect on the overall flow of the show.

I really miss the early heisei rider trend of the OPs just being shots of the riders on bikes, and the riders doing things that had almost nothing to do with the show, while music played.
Like look at Ryuki. Its just like halls of mirrors, images of random objects, people with cards.
Or 555, you have the half an apple, rain, girl wrapped in twine, some orphnochs, outdoors haircut, walking at the camera, and none of it has much to do with the show.

I really like the base Ghost suit. The orange and black is a nice color combination that reminds me of a jack-o-lantern, and the hoodie is like a biker jacket with an occult touch. Feel like the suit embodies an older concept for Kamen Rider Ghost seen in Surprise Future where he actually is supposed to be spooky and actually ghost-like.

Yeah, I can see where you're coming from. Something slimmed down more like Ex-Aid's level 2 would have probably looked better. Keep the helmet design, the orange and black, the hoodie jacket, and the Tron lines, but ditch some of the bulky armor.

So I've been thinking... Build is rumored to be part machine and part animal. Blue and red is also obviously his primary colors. Speculation and rumors also suggests that he is inspired by Kikaider.

I have my own addition to the rumors and speculation: What if Kamen Rider Build is a mixed inspiration of Kikaider and Inazuman. Kikaider influences the mechanical side and Inazuman influences the animal side. They do share a similar color palette of red and blue (and yellow). I could also see the antenna on the supposed blue side being similar to Inazuman's antenna. The tokusatsu version of Inazuman also featured a scarf, which is rumored to be a feature on one of Build's sides.

Amazon is awesome man. Main character is lovable, Mole Beastman is lovable, you actually like Masahiko, Amazon learning Japanese is awesome, the fights are both hilarious and awesome at the same time, and even though it's a bit rushed it's a really fun show.
