Some boss units seem to arbitrarily ignore attacks with some green moon runes but I don't see any shields on their ability list for either the pilot or the mech. What is happening here?

It's a bug Aeon Genesis added with their patch.
The After Image skill just... doesn't show up in the unit's stat screen.
The white Bergelmir has that skill, but the other 2 don't. V2 and its variants, and DSH also have it but again, don't show up.

It activates at 130 morale and grants a 50% chance to dodge any incoming attack, but Strike bypasses it.
Of course, you can always savescum until you land a hit as well but who does that?

He mentions that even though he was brainwashed to serve Radam it wasn't entirely against his will, he made no effort to resist and even enjoyed being an evil enforcer, and his vendetta against Blade was entirely because of his own issues with his brother and not something the Radam forced upon on (In fact they actually disapproved and told him not to bother after a point but Evil kept going at it)

So after checking out the new unit database gachashit got I've come to some realizations:

Series that will probably have new units:
- ZZ Gundam (I'll take it as Hamma-Hamma)
- CCA (maybe BWS Re-GZ or Jegan, what else are left)
- G Gundam (likely Spiegel)
- TV Gaogaigar (this one is weird because I have 2 seperate unit slots left, and one of them should belong to King J-Der, but there're actually 2 versions of it and normally they're counted as the same mech under a name)

Series which has shitload of units but got shafted G-Gundam-in-3D-Games style:
- Victory Gundam (Victory only): Fuck you オオチP
- Crossbone Gundam (X3 only): Fuck you for this too
- Zegapain (Altair only): They should have cut those fucking useless Gekkas to have more slots for Zegatank, Garuda and Hraesvelgr
- Star Driver (Tauburn only): Haven't watched it yet but the show seems to have a lot of unique mechs with different abilities. At the fucking least there should be Sugata and Wako's mechs in but this is fucking オオチP we're talking about)
- Albegas (Denjin Dimension only): Are the other 5 forms that much different, like Getter-style from the base one? I don't know much about Albegas either.

I've got a lot of PP to throw into Toga's skill to get Attack Again going, but I'm thinking that with that skill level, he'll be more likely to outright negate some attacks, but Guard might benefit with tanking more in the long run, and Blocking might not be the best choice, because Gravion doesn't have a shield either.

You're getting more direct interaction with what the characters are written like instead of seeing moonrune summaries and making up the idealized details in your head.

Unless you're talking about the robots themselves, in which case Falsaber is limited by the clunky art style BX uses and Vangray is fucking awesome, with Granvang's issue being that it's animated at one frame per kalpa. If you can look past the framerate, it's a kickass machine and a great example of how to do a good ranged super, something we almost never get. Both issues are things that should be fixed by the OG team when we get there someday.

The second season basically was a slow boil of Tekkadan losing everything they fought for in season one. There is no comebacks or miracles unlike in the first season, just outright suffering and dashed hopes.

There's nothing about Falsaber's design that should make him any less articulated than, say, Granteed. The problem is the large sprites they use and the way they tend to minimize creating more in favor of waggling the existing sprites to create motion. This only lends itself to wide, sweeping motions that make everything look clumsy. Just compare BX GaoGaiGar to W GaoGaiGar.

Glad to see this pitch for a darker SRW doing well. I remember a thread from several years back talking about how SRW needs to have a darker story was pretty much rejected because SRW isn't about that but I wanted to see a story where trying to intervene in the timeline to save everyone winds up making stuff worse for everyone.

Taking on the IBO idea, saving both Naze and/or Amida basically cements Tekkadan and Turbines as blood family as Lafter marries Akihiro to solidfy their bond since they can't do a Sakazuki due to both being disavowed.
