There was also something between Deneb and Yuuto regarding two people but I couldn't understand it. Some of the banter in this game is great like Tsukasa berating Yusuke for losing. I think I remember Shotaro arguing with someone about either the meaning of being hard boiled or how he's not hard boiled as well.

It's amazing how much the writers for the games are given free reign to make fun interactions.

Why is it that every new character added to Battride War is usually terrible to use on any difficulty? Do they not consider people actually want to have fun with the characters outside of "I recognize that attack"?
>#1 and V3 both have a ton of powers but can't deal any damage to save their life and #1 can just barely mob.
>V3's mobbing skill leaves him completely immobile and spinning around in the air for ages and your combo pretty much drops if you try to start it up again.
>V3 requires you to build up a gauge to use any of his decent moves but you'll only use it for the damage booster because that's the smartest choice and he suffers from Birth's problem where the good moves cost far too much for how long they take to get so you can't rely on them.
>#2 has absolutely nothing that deals any damage to anything and his mobbing skill flings him miles away from the enemies (The O attack).
>Ghost requires you to mash the square button until you see the double sword slash so you can actually mob and his best boss attack is doing the entire normal attack string and ending it with Benkei
>Chase's best move is his O attack when paired with the Triangle + O attack but it takes ages for you to go for it so you're left with an extremely short range attack and he can't fight bosses to save his life.
>Specter's best attack is just spamming Nobunaga on bosses since it does the most damage but he can't mob at all, and if you try to use Tutankhamen to mob it takes forever to dodge cancel out of it to start it up again so your combos constantly drop and its range is garbage to begin with.
>Drive can't even mob without it taking a year and Massive Monster is the only decent way you can mob or boss by hitting bosses with the tongue.

Mach and Boost are like the only usable ones I've found so far and he's just a resounding "Meh".

Granted, figures can fix up damage problems somewhat but they can't fix up mobbing or really slow moves which every new character has in spades.

If Formula was a normal transformation and you could just spam the square attack over and over then he might actually be worth playing since he could at least deal good damage and mob.

Alright, Wild is great for mobbing once you get used to how to move around with it, but I'm not seeing the damage as being anything spectacular. ZX as a helper is great though since he boosts speed and you end up being a Beyblade with Wild.

I talked about this with my bug Virology post last thread, but viruses actually don't really benefit from being SUPER deadly. There's a tradeoff between levels of active replication (how much virus is being produced from infected cells), and how easily they are spread by contact to new hosts. If you make too much virus at once, you kill the cells and your host before they can walk around and spread more virus. Don't make enough and the viruses that are transferred are too few in number to successfully start a new infection.

The common cold is a great example of a virus that has evolved to strike a balance between the two. Feel like shit for a few days and have a cough and runny nose, but you can still usually walk around and do things, which maximizes the contact you have with other people to spread the virus.

Rewatching it I wound up liking several characters more than I remembered, but the point where the show kind of resigns itself to its fate is more apparent.

If I was writing, I'd have Ryoma figure out how to hijack he golden fruit himself to take control of Helheim and be the final boss, instead of just having the orchestrated showdown between Kaito and Kouta. Micchy still uselessly cries in a corner, Kaito gets a heroic sacrifice in, and Sagara gets fucked, leaving Kouta as the one who controls it at the end, so he's still forced to leave the planet.

Sagara is the physical representation of Helheim. Helheim's goal is to force evolution. It does so through four means. The second way to do so is by giving Invesses the ability to infect other beings with a virus that turns them into Invesses. The third way is by allowing the strongest and most clever beings turn into Overlords, which are advanced beings with high mental and physical properties. The fourth way is by allowing one creature to become the God of that specific ecosystem.

Sagara/Helheim never wanted to destroy Earth, or humanity. It just wanted to force an evolution. Now, whether humans could achieve an evolution that suits them or not is another case. I am still perplexed that Kamen Rider Witch did not happen in Wizard even as a movie Rider. One of the few times a KR season's theme has a prominent female archetype and we never got to see it. Perhaps in this decade's Anniversary season, Wizard will get Kiva-La'd.

Also I am a bit surprised we did not get anything unique out of Ghost either. For anyone who has played Battride War Genesis, could you help me understand how figures on tag characters work? It seems that if I use the double Rider figures the effects work on the tag character, but single-type figures just show up as なし which means they're not working at all. When they say (タッグ) does that mean it's specifically only for tag partners? Same deal with (プレイヤー) then? I thought it just specified which character it worked for rather than who could use it.

You can see Autovajin has the effects on the bottom-right of the second picture, but the way the figure translations word it is that they should only be active when you hit 100% on the meter, or is that just for you? I'm so confused.

God Hand

Works like a reverse Dead Zone. Start off with great stats and able to basically beat people entirely in hand-to-hand, can dodge everything. Think Knockout Fighter as a singular form.

However, with each Rider or Bugster knocked out, any strength they had is passed onto the survivors, making them stronger.
