Weapons and stuff are also not that similar to the Noise in the sense that weapons have been used in both sides of every conflict: you can picture a good guy with a sword, a gun or a bomb, for a good portion of society, they aren't inherently evil. The Symphoverse's view of the Noise, at least for the general public, is that they are things that do nothing but continuously try to kill people beyond rationale. The common person doesn't know about Finé, Carol and most only got to know Ver for a brief while.

A quick google search tells me it took until 1951, but I don't know if that's really the truth or if there was any sooner than that. Either way, we're getting silly now. Stories about war are still common during times of war. The psychology behind the characters is irrelevant unless we know what their entertainment is doing. And we don't. Save for their idols.

Ah, but that's the beauty of Hollywood. They can come up with bullshit scenarios and don't have to follow real life logic. It could be a lot like a zombie apocalypse movies. The protagonists, the only ones left alive in the city, or you can watch the entire city die save for the protagonists, and they must escape the noise or join everyone else in sudden death. The movie ends with finally escaping by trapping the noise and leaving the city.

Or you can have a single noise running around that's murdering people and make it all spooky and shit. Since it's hollywood, they might even give it a fake weakness just so the story works out.

It's pretty doable without the symphogears and just the monsters. Hollywood has never been about realism. The symphogears would probably make the movie more fun, but I wouldn't trust hollywood with symphogears. They'd mess that up for sure. I'd only trust them with the noise.
