Ok I know this is massively off topic, but since I have no idea where to put this and I don't think it's worth starting a thread over anyway, plus I just happen to be lurking here:

Anybody got any experience with Steam friends? I woke up earlier to find one of my friends had magically disappeared from my friends list. I looked up their profile and sent them another invite. Was I blocked? I was under the impression if someone blocked you, they didn't disappear from your friends list just appeared offline forever. Is it a bug or am I crazy?

Sorry for taking up a post. And yes, I did just post this in another general but I thought I might get a better answer here.

X-O players who have managed to get to 105 or higher in terms of rank (well really 110 or higher but 105 is pretty close), an exploit now exists to give you near infinite SSRs for the duration of the current event. It works as such:

Wasn't the melee attack more of a "rip a giant chunk out of the enemy" move though, to go along with the vicious theme? I swear I remember the last bit of that clip having the enemy sprite look like it was torn up, kind of like Tetsujin 28's rolling attack in the Z series.

I always saw Mazinger Z as a gorilla or a brute, while Great felt like a soldier and elegant compared to Z. Mazinger Z being a brute is still carried on in Kaiser and Zero, while Emperor keeps Great being the refined warrior.

I was under the impression (from the JP wiki) that the problem was that whoever owned the toy rights needed to approve it. Same issue that faced Zoids and the non-GGG Braves until recently with Takara Tomy being uncooperative. Takara Tomy is actually the problem here too (and with Granzort), because they were a production sponsor and did some (all?) of the non-model toys. Models were done by Bandai.

Apparently they actually can use season 3 of Wataru anytime they want because Bandai did all the toys, but have chosen not to because it would be really weird to debut Wataru without the original series. The JP wiki sourced this as from one of Tereda's radio shows by the way. They have an entire list of what is on the SRW blacklist and why (usually toy rights).

The thing with Takara was just more of an untold "gentleman's agreement". They only had the exclusive merchandising license during the airing of the shows(except for zoids), but Bandai avoided stuff they sponsored out of Japanese courtesy. Tereda "pushed buttons" with Alpha 2 by sticking in Jeeg and GGG, Takara seemed chill with it and that opened the gates for granzort, votoms, rajin-oh, etc.

The issues with Wataru and Getter Go are more about who they have to get the licenses from. Wataru's dispute is with RED entertainment, Getter Go's dispute is with Big West.
