If you want an idea of where to look for prospective Sentai Reds, look at the Junon SuperBoy Contest. Sentai and Rider have been drawing from there for quite a while now.

For example, in 2013, Noaki Kunishima won the contest and became Misao in Zyuohger in 2016. The runner up for that year was Shunsuke Nishikawa and he became Takaharu in Ninninger in 2015.

Zyuoh was confirmed to have 47 episodes based on the episode numbering on the Blu-ray sets.

40 episodes have aired so far.

There are 9 Sundays before Feb 12th.

That leaves 2 Sundays without new episodes.

Looking back at Ninnin's schedule where they took a two week break in Jan 2016, it appears that based on reasonable presumptions, Zyuoh will follow the same pattern.

No worries. Love Kamen Rider and I still enjoy watching the older Power Rangers, so it was a pretty safe bet that I'd at the very least enjoy Sentai. So far I'm loving Jetman. Yellow and his rock are definitely my favorite part of it.

Man, the transformation of the mech may be basic limb-torso forming. However the general aesthetic of them all is just so weird in a way I like. It reminds me of Chinese toku design, in a good way. I still need to pick up the Space Deleter mechs.

The transformation device, the collectibles, and even the modular weapon all look amazing. One of the best looking collectible gimmicks that have come out of Sentai and Rider.

I think I may just come back into buying Sentai toys again.

First off, I want to truly thank everyone who supported me as Hamao Kyousuke (The Actor) in the past.

I retired from the entertainment industry and from acting on February 28th, 2014. Presently, I am in the United States of America devoting myself to my studies in pursuit of a new dream.

Recently, when I launched my Facebook account in order to exchange and gather information in relation to my studies, I frequently received messages from fans who supported me previously. After consulting with a lawyer, I have temporarily started this page in order to communicate with everyone on this matter once again.

I truly regret not being to tell everyone properly that I was retiring when I retired from the entertainment industry, but I have absolutely no plans or intentions of returning to that life. It has been almost three years since I retired and at present I am focusing all my energy on a new dream and seriously pursuing a new life

I have some concerns since there is the possibility of being frequently messaged by strangers on social media, my picture being taken and those pictures being uploaded and spread around on the internet. Thus, while I can’t say that I am sufficiently used to life in America yet I also can’t say that America is safer than Japan and so I myself feel distressed and threatened when I think about the possibility of my address and the particular details of my life here being arbitrarily open to the public in a country like this.

In speaking with a lawyer regarding this matter, the prevailing view is that the unilateral spreading of photographs, personal information, and one’s daily life etc., on the internet without one’s personal consent is a violation of a person’s right to privacy. However, I have been told that there is a big difference in how much privacy is to be protected for those who are actively working in the entertainment industry disclosing their names and faces and those who are not. Almost three years have passed since I left Japan and cut off my involvement with the entertainment industry, and I believe that my current position is much closer to the latter.

Considering the future, I feel that I personally have a limit as to the number of individual cases I can handle, and so I started this page so that it will spread widely and inform everyone on the internet. This page will be deleted after a certain period of time.

Those are the "usual" producers for the main series in the past few years. There's also Shirakura, but he's a Kamen Rider guy and hasn't been involved in a main series fora long time. Then there's Takahashi who is a new producer whose works so far only include Ghost.

Unless Toei get another new producer for sentai, I expect Takahashi to be producing this series. Ohmori is probably not going to be as he'll be busy with Ex-Aid. Takebe is a possibility, but with Amazons airing at the same time, I don't expect it. Utsonimya could produce back to back series, but Toei hasn't done that for a long time. And since Takahashi is currently free, I expect it to be him.

It's also predicted to have worse toy sales than Ninninger. Two years in a row of really bad toy sales, one is the big anniversary series.

So, Kyuranger's potential creative staff members

Producers:

Takaaki Utsunomiya: Current Zyuohger producer and Toei golden boy who just produced his first bomb. Producers also rarely do back to back shows these days.
Naomi Takebe: Sentai and her just don't seem to mix but she might be a yes man for Toei. She's doing Amazons so it's hard to gauge.
Kazuhiro Takahashi: One show to his credit and he was removed as chief producer from that show in its final quarter

Writers:

Junko Komura: Zyuohger writer, her first time as head. We haven't had a back-to-back head writer since Arakawa did Abaranger and Dekaranger.
Kento Shimoyama: Did Ninninger which is literally the only show since Shinkenger to improve in ratings but those ratings still weren't great. Also his stupid "choose your own adventure" writing style.
Yasuko Kobayashi: Is doing Amazons 2 and rarely works on Sentai these days without Takebe or Utsunomiya.

So, Sentai is coming off back to back years of near historic lows in toy sales and historic lows in ratings and our most likely candidates are Kazuhiro Takahashi and Kento Shimoyama. If Toei goes with them, they really, really, really have given up on Sentai.

In my shitty opinion, best thing in Goggle V is the carrier (bulk fuckaton aircraft) and the robot: light years better than Denziman's - design, animation, gattai, cockpit, everything. That was REALLY a "modern" solid improvement used in future shows.

Goggle Robo and Goggle Caesar do look great, but I do wish that they had edited down Goggle Robo's transformation sequence. It looks cool the first couple of times, but after awhile I just wanted to skip it.

Some sixths showed up earlier than that, such as Kyoryu Gold and StarNinger, and Gekiranger is considered to have no sixth so there's those.

We still have to know if Kyuranger isnt gonna have more rangers though, but if they do, we wont know till the catalogs hit. The initial ones usually have the core team.
That said, the show IS called Kyuranger so there probably wont be more rangers.

Speaking of toys, I noticed since Gokaiger, it's always the odd years (2011, 2013, 2015) that have collectible gimmicks outside of mechs. It's like they went all out in odd years and then going a bit quiet in even years (2012, 2014, 2016).

Go-Busters already doomed from start because not only they didn't have collectible (thanks to extended Ranger Keys release, can't really blame it), their mechs are just for each members, save for the movie and final mech. They should at least had the "armament" mechs or something.

Kyoryuger have Beast Batteries, mech toys with electronics, etc etc, no need to explain, beating Gokaiger as highest 2010s Sentai toy sales.

ToQger's mechs are the collectibles. Being train-themed, it's guaranteed to sell in Japan, even though lower than Kyoryuger.

Ninninger have Nin Shuriken, the second Sentai collectibles with electronics and sounds since Go-Onger's Engine Souls in 2008. But I heard that the toy sales are pretty bad, lower than Go-Busters. They missed the opportunity to make Shuriken based of previous Sentai other than Kakuranger and Hurricaneger...... and Jiraiya.

Zyuohger kinda did the same thing as ToQger, mechs as collectibles, but I'm surprised this is the first time since Go-Busters where they didn't do the "insert collectibles to transform item or weapons" thing. Not only from the toys, Zyuohger seemed not feel much as anniversary season, it's like they blow all the anniversary elements in Ninninger.
