Raikou is the worst knight. If anyone, ANYONE fell to darkness and became a horror, Kouga would have sliced them up without a second's delay. Most of the other knights, definitely any of the higher ranked ones would have done the same. That's the code of a Makai Knight, protect all people with your life regardless of who they are, and slay all horrors unconditionally. You don't get to judge the situation, it's black and white. Raikou doesn't deserve to be a knight, much less the inheritor of Garo. He should have slain Seimei on the spot.

Pre-Lara, if Leon had to cut her down, I don't think he could've done it. I think he'd either have to let Alfonso do it, or he'd either have been killed or have fallen. If this is Leon Post-Series, I think he'd cut her down without any hesitation. He's mature enough at that point. But there would be a LOT of brooding to be done during/after the fact.

Any chance I could get some people to seed the "Beast of the Midnight Sun" and "Red Reqium" movies? According to Nyaa there's only one seed for BofMS. I know it's in the Mega link folder but I use Firefox and FF doesn't get along too good with large size files from Mega. So I'm left with using the torrent to download.

The Figuarts isn't even more accurate than the recent Makai Kado since it's missing the thin lines on the armor. The MK changes those into raised sculpted details, but at least it's not outright missing them. The Figuarts also has odd proportions like a lot of the ones that came out around that time.

Ryuga seems different, though I guess his change was when he went blind in his first series. I miss early Ryuga who had unintentional(?) funny dialogue with the rest of the cast and especially his interaction with the horror of the week. This new Ryuga is too clean.

Also i can already see that the Ryuga and Rian ship is gonna being going hard through the entirety of the show. How did they not fuck when they first went off together? This shit is gonna drive me nuts and the cringe thus far has been quite painful to watch.

I just rewatched this episode, and I gotta say it was kinda disappointing.

It builds you up to a moment where Leon could possibly hype himself up and actually say "I am the Golden Knight, Garo" in a moment where basically any other protag would have - Raikou probably even would have. Instead he sorta instantly gets back in the groove without any proper indicator and it becomes very lame. Shame, too, it's a pretty shitty way to introduce Zex.

This kight have been said before, but I just got my SHF Garo Ryuga version and I can give testimony that the golden parts are metallic gold in color and it looks brightier and is more reflective than the gold paint they use in any Makai Kado Garo. Well, I took a pic with my shitty phone. Resolution is awful, but I think it should give you a vibe of how metallic/reflective the color is. Lighting in my room at this hout is relatively pretty bad, but for some reason this kind of poor lighting seems to enhance the metal look of the paint, with the illuminated portions contrasting nicely with the shaded ones.
