I have heard bad things about this game, but people have been saying that the recent and planned patches have fixed many of the issues. Do they actually make it worth getting, especially since I want to be able to play with other people.
Just wait for the english release. That's what I'm waiting for.
Hopefully it'll have the patched content in day 1.
I heard it alright. Japan's amazon reviews are weird. Even monster hunter 4 was getting shitty reviews.
Does it still not have online?
Does it still have less than half of the mechs from every other version of the game?
If the answer to any of these is yes, then no, it's not worth it.
It's a fighting game, of course online matters. That's kind of why we had and sometimes still have a general for the game where all they do is online matches.
Do you think anyone this day and age would buy a fighting game if it didn't have some kind of online play? It's not like your gonna find a person around town with the exact same game to play with.
Not him, but the main draw of EXVS force is the "Force" mode which takes up all of the missions and such. Which is singleplayer only.
Though the lack of online sucks (who really cares since it's just a portable spinoff), it's not the end of the world nor does it completely devalue the game.
>people will buy this because MUH VITA
>Bandai will forever think we'll just happily take shit and stripped down ports of games as a result
It's hard enough as is to convince people that the vita has games on it other then persona 4 and IF games, but since most people just shrug off the system as full of nothing but "weeb garbage" it ends up creating a conundrum whereby the only people who use the system are either people who actually enjoy moeshit games and have money, or people who don't care about the stigma and find a few games they like which aren't just moeshit, who don't buy as many games, which is saddly a small amount of people.
Hey man they just are bringing it over because it got an english release in Asia like the SAO game. Maybe they are hoping for some small money.
When is it even coming out?
>It's hard enough as is to convince people that the vita has games on it other then persona 4 and IF games
The annoying part about this is the remake of EDF 2 came out in English for the system.
>skipped Breaker 1
>bought Breaker 2, was neat until beat it and got bored after making a few designs
>Breaker 3 advertises SD gundams
>hype for it
>SD gundams are all support characters npc crap that mean nothing
>literally just Breaker 2 which SD gundam support characters
JUST FUCKING GIVE US MAXI FUCK.
There aren't many Vita exclusive. There's literally no reason to buy Vita if you can play games you like in PS3 or PS4.
Even when there are originals, they're all rushed garbage like Freedom Wars or Gravity Rush.
I just can't play this shit after seeing this:
It disgusts me how far this series went from being okay tier since Gundam vs Zeta Gundam and became total comedic trash for the sake of balance.
Only Federation vs Zeon DX, Gundam vs Zeta Gundam and Rengou vs ZAFT II plus were good games of this particular series.
EXVS is designed to be a competitive game with a focus on fanservice (in the traditional sense, not "panty-shots")
It combines suits from series with different technology levels, and the only way to do that reliably is to standardize mobility and performance of suits. Rather than just have everything from 00 and EXA be 3k, headline suits from Destiny/SEED be 2.5k, and everything pre-F91 be the equivalent of a 1k.
You can already see this shit start to happen in ZvZG, where the mid-high/high performance Zeta suits absolutely eclipse everything else.
FvZ and ZvZG are more simulation focused.
The fuck is supposed to be silly about those movements? Char's Zaku moves like that because in-universe its a fucking fast suit.
The only comedic suits are Doan's Zaku - a literal meme suit - and the Perfect Gundam.
If you're reaching I suppose you could count the Ez8 and Hidolfr as well because of their brake cancels.
Maybe the Zaku II Kai's inflatable santa decoy as well.
>he fuck is supposed to be silly about those movements?
>How is it comedic?
Trowing tanks from nowhere and suddenly changing piloting vehicles into completely different ones aren't comedic? Well, at very least its just stupid.
You must have advanced autism, there is nothing comedic about it, its no different to summoning support which happened in the older games where they suddenly magically appear.
If you want realism go play Battle Operation.
>people really try to argue that fighting games are bad because they are balanced >people would rather prefer an insanely OP character that shitstomps every character in the game and going online would result in nothing but the same fucking guy causing a lack in variety of gameplay
>I just can't play this shit after seeing this
Oh hey, well looks like you've solved your own problem by not playing it in the first place if all you're doing is watching it.
I hope you don't see the footage of the G-mech in Maxi, cuz that might rustle your jimmies eternally.
