That doesn't make any sense if you actually stop and think as to why Macross's rights are in the shitter. There isn't any confusion as to whether Tatsunoko or Big West hold the rights, with Gundam it's just Sunrise. Hell, if Macek had decided to bring over Gundam instead of Macross back in the day there would have been no need to Frankenstein it since MSG plus the at the time recent Zeta covers more than the syndication required 65 episodes and there would have been no need to do Sentinels/Shadow Chronicles tomfoolery since there would have been a steady stream of Gundam to bring over.

The alternate universe you are describing is a perfect one in which all of both Gundam and Macross would have been brought over, Wingfags don't exist, and /m/ is slightly more shitpost-free.

I never watch US versions of anime.

Pirating anime on the Internet has been viable for around 15 years now.

I liked the ending to Dooz in the Pocket.
