>Kamen Rider Ghost Episode 17 Preview
In Memoriam: Megaupload
Gave me a virus once, but pretty cool for most part.
Oh no! Your city is attacked by monsters! You can summon one kamen rider, He will be protector of the city
and your roommate.
Which one will you choose and why?
overall theme is ninjas. The gimmick toy is dogs. The show centers around hospitals. The monsters are themed around hospitals
So Kamen Rider Ninja Doctor?
Reposting. Nova Shockers with Mass Effect assault rifles.
Incoming Orphenoch idea:
>Stands roughly the same height as Kamen Rider Arc.
>Either looks like a traditional knight with fluted armor, or a humanoid figure with a mane of corkscrew-like dreadlocks.
>Can break apart into two halve that form into separate Orphenochs.
>Is actually two people.
Rider 2 doesn't exist in this world
Rider 1, Ghost, Spector together will show pricelessness of life by sacrificing their own
>It's an alternate reality again that will probably be erased at the end of the movie
>Hongo has more than one outfit this time including Biker coat Hongo. Now we just need suit Hongo!
>that comfy ass Hongo beating the shit out of shocker in the bottom left
>Rider 2 doesn't exist in this world
Again, really? These new suits and vechiles are great. Though with this being the first movie, maybe it will survive space and time?
Because the next Rider movie of the anniversary will definitely introduce Ichimonji, who is the last known Shocker Rider to not get a new suit. To not have Hongo keeps his new suit when that happens would be stupid.
Unless the next movie flips it around and Hongo doesn't exist this time. Granted, that makes me doubt if Ichimonji would exist at all. It's a bit of a rehash of the previous premise too, so I don't think that will go down.
Can we stop Plex and Bandai from updating old suits?
I wasn't bothered that much by Rider #1's buff form, but the shocker grunts and kaijin look stupid. And not the good kind of stupid.
I really like the monsters. They remind me of the old school baddies, although the designs themselves could use a little work. The second pair look a little too busy for their own good.
>next Rider movie of the anniversary
Next movie won't be rider. It'll be a Sentai movie for which the 2000th Sentai episode will tie in. Then we'll get a super hero taisen like movie later
>Two Souls come out of it
>One brother is the basic jacket, and the other is a semi-humanoid plane that attaches to the back
Or maybe he's just a plane. I don't know.
Well I said "next Rider movie" because I knew of the Sentai movie, anon. I am sure another Rider movie that gives Rider 2 a new suit will happen and Rider 1 will have his new suit around for the occasion because they'd want them posing together.
I think there might still be hope for learning about the origins of the Captain Ghost. It seems to have a connection with Yurusen somehow, and when we learn who the old man and Yurusen actually are, there might be some insight to the iguana as well.
>tfw we get a movie about Ghost, Yurusen, and Captain Ghost going down the River Styx to fight a Ganma that's collecting souls to make a massive super natural super weapon while learning more about Old Man, Yurusen, and Captain Ghost
I was getting some serious babe readings on my babe-o-meter, but maybe it needs some tuning.
You can doubt me, sur, but I will stick with just like I stuck with the claim that Riders 1 and 2 will get a new suit all the back during SHTGP previews. Some gave me a goddamn howling over it, but then look at what happened.
Toei suddenly got a boner for the word "genesis", are making a huge deal on this being an anniversary year, and was even more radically experimental with the Rider 1 suit than even I thought.
I betcha right now Toei is looking at this party and thinking "You know, we got Rider 1 but leaving Rider 2 alone would be weird". I wouldn't be surprised if they already have something with 2 involved with a new suit already designed, with the only issue being with how they can work with the now camera shy Sasaki.
>overall theme is hands. The gimmick toy is crayons. The show centers around signs. The monsters are themed around hospitals
>First and Last Name
>overall theme is ninjas. The gimmick toy is ninjas. The show centers around bottles. The monsters are themed around headphones
Theme is Ninja. Gimmick is Ninjas. Everything is Ninjas.
>theme is lego figures. The gimmick toy is folk tales. The show centers around printing. The monsters are themed around waste
Folk Tales; Yes. Waste Monsters; Yes. Everything else; No.
Nothing too great.
>First Name and Last initial
>overall theme is shoes. The gimmick toy is signs. The show centers around signs. The monsters are themed around road trips
I'm fighting Mach with shoes, FML.
Wtf happened with my text? Am I being targeted by Nova Shocker?
>The poster only features Ghost, Specter and Rider 1
>Rider 2 doesn't exist in this world
Has it been confirmed that Rider 3 is in the movie, all why have are those Set shots.
Only option I can think of is that:
>The Time Machine Shocker built before has been rebuilt by the Ganma and used to help further their goals. Instead it revives Shocker, which Branches into Nova Shocker.
Then #3 is there to be the Returning Character to Link the Plot to the other Film, since Drive/Faiz cant return.
Why is it so hard to download Black RX? Why is it only two torrents with barely any seeds?
Ganma World confirmed for being Hell and Sage didn't tell anyone because he forgot about it
Aren't these the swords the Riotroopers used?
I like the theory that he's Alan and Adel's dad/the former Ganma Emperor who was overthrown by Adel and thus sided with humanity
Not really. Maybe the blades were, but the rest no.
So apparently Alan and/or the Ganma took Makoto's body away at some point. Whether that means he too is an Eyecon with a physical form or he regained his body later on is still up in the air (unless it's explained later in the episode in which case disregard this)
>SHUT UP, YOU KNOW WHAT YOU TOOK FROM ME
>What, your body?
Wow, they're not even trying to be subtle anymore
On a "good" wizard episode yes. Every episode of ghost is that constant mediocre that wizard is known for BUT I couldn't get through the second episode of wizard.
There's quite a few things wizard did better than ghost but there's quite a few things ghost does better than wizard.
>Better fight scenes
>Better suit designs
>Better driver sounds
>Best OP in all of Rider
>Likeable side characters
Both their toy gimmicks suck nuts though..
Monsters are not the same as riders. If a rider was to get a new suit it would be given major importance in the movie. And I just don't see Toei doing that for rider 2 in another theatrical release
I like how Ghost is subverting expectations by not taking a million episodes to reveal things like that.
Yeah the overarching plot if is taking forever, but something like that tidbit would not have been revealed until episodes later. Same with Necrom's identity. For a second I was worried that they were gonna keep Necrom's identity a secret for god knows how long despite how obvious it is from the get go.
Sort of makes up for the slow overarching plot, or at least makes it a little more bearable.
>Same with Necrom's identity. For a second I was worried that they were gonna keep Necrom's identity a secret for god knows how long despite how obvious it is from the get go.
Has any Rider's identity been hidden for very long? Closest I can think of was that time in Ryuki when Tiger's group tried to throw Shinji off.
Ghost's gear in general seems pretty shoddily conceived. It is like they only considered how the gimmicks would work with the Ghost Driver. Everything else...
>Chandelier sword that works similar to the Dengasher despite it the motif not befitting the gimmick at all
>Ghost ship that is also an iguana because...?
>Clock that is also a bat turns into a gun part for the ghost of Billy the Kid because...?
>Hilariously tiny antique phone that is also a condor turns into a bow part for the ghost of Robin Hood because...?
>Latern that is also a spider turns into a shitty looking hammer part for the ghost of Benkei because...?
And so on. It is like they just reviewed all the standard spooky/haunted imagery and mushed them together, leaving you with just so many questions.
Well, Kamuro only got a few scene in Gaim's movie. I think as long as say, Rider 2 with a new suit got two big action scenes it'd be good enough. That's about what most movie Riders get since they usually aren't protagonists.
But that IS what ties them together. They're all spooky haunted items mixed with animals. And the only reason they're animals is because that's what sells these gimmicky gadget toys apparently, because they've been doing it for years.
Yes, but you think a season about ghosts, history, and people haunting items they owned you think the gadgets would have a little more relation to the ghost using them.
Would have been nice if Ghost's gadgets WERE the items the dead used to own transformed for Rider used.
This is my thing about Wizards theming being better.
Ghost's thing is meant to be ghosts but they far play up eyes and random shit.
When I first heard about Ghost I was epecting Kamen Rider Danny Phantom in terms of theming not eyes fucking everywhere.
Benkei having a hammer that transforms into a sheet of paper? Billy having a tiny ass cowboy hat that turns into a gun? Robin having a bow and arrow that turns into... a bow and arrow? No you're right. That sounds like SO much fun.
What's the best multi-utility weapon?
>Ridol: It's a sword and a whip and a staff.
>Shining Caliber: A double-sword that turns into two swords.
>Faiz Blaster: It's a cannon and a sword and a super form.
>Kaixa Blaygun: It's a gun and a sword.
>Kabuto Kunaigun: A knife that is a gun that is a hand-axe.
>DenGasher: It's a sword, a gun, a hand-axe, a spear, a boomerang and a smaller hand-axe all in one.
>ZeroGasher: It's a bigger sword that's also a crossbow.
>Ixa Caliber: It's basically the Kaixa Blaygun.
>RideBooker: It's a card storage device, a sword and a gun.
>WizarSwordGun: It's a gun and a sword.
>AxCalibur: It's a sword and an axe. What is even the point of this? It weighs the same either way and the difference in weight distribution shouldn't be large enough to make a significant difference considering its design. Just use it as an axe all the time.
>GanGun Saber: It's a lot of shit.
Why was movie Wizard so good? Just finish the Wizard part of the Gaim/Wizard movie war and this kinda makes me nostalgic for the show, even though I know deeply inside that it never lived up to the potential. Fucking hell this was great, some amazing choreography, camera work, just 30 minutes of perfect Kamen Rider.
Because Komura had a better idea for Haruto.
That only applies in Fourze x Wizard and the spring movies. In Magic Land and Gaim x Wizard it was Junko Komura doing the Wizard part
I think ghost toys get unnecessary amount of flak around here. It's not like retarded toys have not existed before.
You can ask stuff like this about a lot rider toys.
I mean in the context of their own shows
>Why do shift cars need to be toy cars
>why do lockseeds look like padlocks
>what do switches have to do with space
Random animal gadgets are not new either.
>Why do shift cars need to be toy cars
Clearly, Belt-san is a car fanatic. I'll bet his garage had a shitload of classic cars before it got burned to the ground.
>Why do Lockseeds look like padlocks
Because Warren's a nerd.
>What do switches have to do with space
Hey man, this one actually makes sense. What's more convenient than a thing with a large button on it?
>I'll bet his garage had a shitload of classic cars before it got burned to the ground
It did. There where a lot more in there too.
Dude. The eye relation is fucking genius. It's the most clever part about the show.
>The souls of icons throughout history > "Eyes are the portal to the soul" > Eyecons.
Plus, eyeballs are spooky.
They summon jackets because:
>closing eyes > sleep > wearing someone else's jacket in dream theory symbolizes taking after the original wearer's traits > the hood symbolizes spiritual influence
Plus jackets look a little like bed sheet ghosts.
All Wizard had going for it was "Elemental Magic, amiright? Dragons n' shit. Dragons liking jewels is a thing, huh? Jewels are on rings, so lets put fucking hands everywhere." It's like a toddler's thought process.
In context of their own show, I think shift cars make sense in that they need to get around somehow.
I just wish that was more openly stated in the show. Like I was waiting for a flashback scene with a living Steinbelt in which he muses over how to get these core driviars around. Then he either looks at toy car he keeps around at his office desk or uses his unspoken fandom for cars to inspire him.
>Padlocks = Nerd
The reason Fourze uses switches is because they're like a space shuttle control panel, though. A kid would see one of those and just want to press all the buttons and flip all of the switches. Makes sense to me.
All the events are still running (Kabuto 5*, Gattack 3*, etc.) But a new store option has been added with the main prize being a 4* Necrom
Also the "open every day" chart has been updated, if you sign in religiously you get a 4* Specter Tut
this is STUPID. Why are all of the kamen rider movies so fucking terrible?
Themes aren't meant to be intricate numb nuts. Simplicity is better than vague connections. A magician that fights various mythical creatures to stop a magical cult is far better than Eyes are the window to the soul and the soul is a famous person so we can give him a chandelier and a bat clock. I get the fucking parkas but it's a childrens show and no child gives a shit about an american sounding eyedrop device.
>jackets kinda sorta look like bedsheets.
You're retarded for making that argument and no where near as much thought went into this as ou're spectulation.
>Dragons are the only mythical creatures to be associated with many elements and fits with the fact that all wizards need a familiar
>Has both a magician motif with flair and a belt that does magical words rather than just none fitting rapping
>Magic users have used hand gestures to cast spells for centuries and fits with the term :slight of hand" where the rings actually come in
>Takes huge inspiration from various mythologies and ideas of magic from around the world especially in the enemies vs. walking tables and chairs
>The magical stones are related to alchemy which wholely revolves around forging the philosphers stone so making each of his forms precious stone theme isn't due to dragons liking them (but is an added bonus)
>Secondary rider based on treasure hunting archaeologists (ala indianna jones) and mysterious artifacts that grant great power but also summoners and dungeons and dragons while ghost has Houdini Flying Motorcycle man.
Also Kiva was spookier than ghost and it's fucking Kiva.
It has been 7 years, and he is back as Ambassador Hell
>Not liking the Legend Rider Arms
Anti-fun faggots get out.
shitty crossover movie =/= all KR movies
It's not about that, it's about the fact that they make these movies seem so damn important and it's just stupid suit fanservice shit. I went in expecting them to send off Wizard in a decent fashion and have the Gaim characters interact with them, instead i got some clusterfuck of past riders and past monsters and literally NO closure on my Wizard cast.
You know that Movie Wars is always one story for the old show, one story for the new show and crossover at the end, right? Haruto appearing halfway through the Gaim story is actually a pretty good deviation from the norm as far as interactions goes.
As far as send offs go, Haruto gets further resolution with Koyomi and Beast also gets a resolution. Yeah, the secondary cast gets shafted though, but that's really not any different from Wizard itself.
>Also Kiva was spookier than ghost and it's fucking Kiva.
Not him, but I think you're missing the fact that in Japanese culture, ghosts or spirits are rarely presented as "spooky."
Kiva on the other hand, was based on monster flicks, where spooks are pretty much the only goal.
Also, don't fucking give that "no child gives a shit about -blank-" argument. I'm tired of English speaking weeb faggots pretending like they know what Japanese kids think and feel. It has nothing to do with what the toy is based on, because children will always believe that all kinds of shit is cool on account that a superhero uses it on television, it has flashing lights, and it makes musical noise.
So if we had more Ghost Riders based on different types of spirits how many would we have? I can at least name off a few.
Which is why Drive toys bombed right?
Also, I work in making shit good for kids and there isn't a huge cultural gap like you believe. There's a reason cartoons from america are translated into japanese just like there's a reason power rangers, tmnt and yu gi oh are so popular in america.
Kids like the same shit regardless and they won't just buy a toy because a super hero uses it (but I guess you don't have kids). Surprisingly they do have standards and will go with the heroes they think are cool because of cool themes rather than any old costumed ninny
Toy popularity is practically fucking random. You could say it's the shilling of toys, but Kiva sold like ass from not showing off toys much at fucking all and Hibiki showed them off at a decently moderate amount, and treated them more like tools than gimmicks.
>Nuts bros are brought back from the dead
Necrom is Chaser levels of strong.
Fuck those guys.
>Surprisingly they do have standards
That's not my point. Of course they have standards. It's just that you have no right saying "kids aren't into this shit" when kids prefer all kinds of weird shit all the time. They can like whatever the hell they want if it's presented well enough for them.
For instance, I thought Necrom was cool as shit in this last episode. I'm sure plenty of kids thought the same thing, therefore they want to play as him and will by the toy. If they end up liking the toy and it becomes their favorite, then yes. Kids do have the potential to like a silly american eyedropper device, and you shouldn't convince them otherwise.
Eyes are a huge feature in Japanese superstition.
There goes fifty american fun-bux, good job Bandai.
Maybe because he's forced to obey rather than it being a voluntary fusion? That'd allow Necrom to get a power up later when he becomes a good guy by actually bonding with the heroes.
Poltergeist should be the "evil ghost" equivalent, uses Ghost Driver, therefore no scuba mask.
>main eyecon is of the first Ganma emperor, who was also known as Poltergeist
>Can turn invisible and control technology
>Has eyecons for great villains of history
>doesn't rely on nerf-o-matic tubes to pump ectoplpasm to give him power
>face is inverted ghost colors, black with orange eyes
can move other rider's bodies and toss them around like ragdolls
Not really, I think I already have a list of the Eyecons that goes like this
>Atilla the Hun
>Vlad the Impaler/Dracula
>Ivan the Terrible
I think we should consider another Necrom-type Rider possibly appearing near the end. It seems to be implied that Aran has never used Necrom before and that Necrom might actually be Adel's.
So I'm thinking Adel will get another Rider form in the future to replace Necrom. Unless Aran loses Necrom to him but I doubt it. Not as an advertised Rider, but more something along the lines of Gold Drive (hopefully more original in suit design). Probably using a repainted Megauloader that they will sell on P-Bandai.
Names I can see:
>Kamen Rider Shaman
>Kamen Rider Mystic
>Kamen Rider Occult(ist?)
>Kamen Rider Voodoo
>Kamen Rider Exocist
>KAmen Rider Necros
>Kamen Rider Mumbo Jumbo (thanks thesaurus.com)
anyone got any idea if this is going to be order able after the preorder? I cant read the button since it can't be translated
Just got some cash and now I wanna buy it but its 2 days too late......
This is so fucking disappointing. Why does the Mega Loader only work with Necrom, Grimm, and Sanzo?
And technically Ghost. It's such a waste of plastic and a sexy voice.
>Specter's isn't numbered
Children book written by one of the Inoues.
So have neckbeards ruined Skull or is he still considered one of the hardest motherfuckers to ever be a Rider?
Oh, you meant Specter's personal Eyecon?
overall theme is music. The gimmick toy is shoes. The show centers around television. The monsters are themed around waste
Kamen Rider Heaven's Tornado!
If I'm reading it right, it's what the next episodes are. Gaim/Lord Banana, OOO/Sagittarius Nova and a Greeed, but I'm not sure what that first kanji is, then Wizard/White Wizard.
You talking about his hat?
Well, considering he's styled after an old school hardboiled detective, he's actually wearing it properly. He has a proper fedora with a proper shirt/tie outfit, not a cheap Walmart trilby with cargo pants and an anime t-shirt.
I asked before so I don't know if we already had it.
Cho Eiyuu Sai 2013 Wizard/Go-Busters
Sound is terrible but I guess it's like that from the source.
Why do I want to go into Vocaroo, and shout
>HERE WE GO, KAKUGO! NOISY GHOSTO~!
I know that, but my concpet for poltergeist is that their eyecon uses a soul of ganma royalty, and that they are so powerful because the user simply lets themself become a vessel for the ghost
Give me some time and I'll be able to completely edit this one out.
Also, I want to read a doujin about
Kanon seducing the two monk boys while the other adults were gone.
>Kanon seducing the two monk boys while the other adults were gone.
I am ashamed that I had similar thoughts when I saw that scene.
Goddammit Japan, you have ripped the innocence from my perspective even in children shows about super heroes. Everything's gotta be have a bleak undertone to it.
Poltergeist is supposed to be a base form with mine, the difference is that it's a soul using a human's body as a vessel , meaning any human who becomes poltergeist has no control over the form and the ghost itself takes over entirely
>Toku hero mag that isn't TV-Kun?
There are a lot of those, actually
I wish people would scan more of these
I know your tumblr bating, but this is kinda a hot concept
>Takeru is conditioned by Himiko to become a submissive cumslut
>The training actually works
>he snaps back after Kanon doms him hard
Stop this tomfoolery at once.
>It becomes worse later on, despite them snapping back there desire for lust becomes stronger then ever.
>They get fucked and trained by the 15 Great Men.
>All hope of them turning back to normal is gone.
>Necrom laughs his ass off and his Ganma gangbang his former enemys.
>Shinnosuke is on suicide watch.
>Akari and Yursen are pretty into it.
They're furries from another dimension with the power to turn into human form thanks to the show's transforming item. It honestly looks like it's gonna be super good from the trailers and such.
my genes are 100% masculine
The movie "Kamen Rider 1" is for Fujioka to make a statement that he did "wrong" back in the days.
During the filming of episode 66 ~ 68 and the movie "Kamen Rider vs Ambassador Hell" Fujioka was "missing". The reason is during his back recovery Fujioka went to NHK for an audition for a role in drama "Red Beard", and ended up getting the job. His agency "told" him to "disappear", and caused trouble to the filming process.
45 years after he is back to deal with the regenerated Ambassador Hell, and to finish off what he left off once and for all.
I'm going to make it a fully fledged fanfiction just for you sweetie.
also, holy shit, I never realized how big this dude's ears are
>Kanon tells Makoto that she's seeing a man
>Makoto says that he wants to meet him
>She grabs his hand and they walk up to Takeru
>"Hello Takeru, we are going to meet the man who has stolen my sister's heart"
>Makoto makes a face of confusion, disgust, bewilderment and rage
>something something motorcylcle accident guy is in a full body cast and a coma
>a little kid's imagination is the source of the monsters (and belt, eventually the upgrades) because he's afraid of his senpai or whatever being in a hospital and a monster from another dimension is using his fear to power a portal to our dimension but somehow it also lets the guy's conciousness exist outside of his body (yes like takeru)
>he henshins by putting a crayon into his belt which makes a drawing appear on it that the forms are based on
>base fighting style is muay thai or kicks like wizard because his hands are in a cast in every form until the final form
>each form gives him a weapon that can turn into another weapon
>final form lets him punch
>base monsters are in scrubs
>motws are based on different medical equipment
>boss monsters wear doctor coats
>Will he break in the middle of a fight and need to be replaced by the Mad Catz Rider?
>Necrom has consistently ran out of ectoplasm during his fights
Why the fuck do SO many people just post pictures featuring WALLS of moon runes without explaining a god damn thing? This is just as fucking annoying as troll bait. Like what the fuck? You expect us all just to learn Japanese and immediately understand? Or do you post that shit and sit there, waiting for the (You)s to roll in asking what the hell it says?
>The new design for Kamen Rider 1 is built to mimic Hiroshi Fujioka's physique at his current age. A truly synchronized performance has been born. The bulk of the design inhibits the suit actor's movements, allowing him to more closely mimic Fujioka's movements.
so were all in agreement right
this has already set up Aran to be a good guy
oh no doubt he'll be a villain for a while, then Takeru will set up a pow wow and Makoto will be like "but my views!" and then Aran will be like "and my views though" and the Takeru will be like "compromise that works for both parties and also FRIENDS" and the Necrom will be a good guy
Destroyer of Worlds back up for pre-order!
>Decade getting more stock so scalpers don't get another Kuuga situation again
Good job, Bandai.
>Decide to check out other SHFs
>Specter still up for pre-order
Jesus, I think this is even longer than Ghost now. This gives me hope though for Necrom. Cause I actually want that as an SHF, so if people don't care for Ghost this much, I don't have to worry about being late to order it.
Granted it's not exclusive that is.
What if Ghost and Specter were to run circles around Necrom until he runs out of juice?
>Decides to follow that breadcrumbs for it
>Find out Gou cost Brain becoming a Kamen Rider
That's wrong though, he WAS meant to use the Mach Driver at some point, but there is nothing about him becoming a Rider. That whole idea sounds incredibly fucking stupid anyway, I'm pretty happy it didn't happen
True, but why would it just Randomly come with Graceful instead of with Newton/Himiko as a Triple Pack?
It's because Graceful wont have the GC gimmick, either like the other figures or at all, and Newton and Himiko will be packed together or not at all.
Grateful comes with an extra Ghost Hoodie that has the hood down.
I know, I was just saying that the only reason that it's bundled with Graceful, is because Graceful won't be a "Gimmick".
Sorta like a Sorry from Bandai.
Also Blade King
It's not Blackbeard.
How is that different than wearing it?
Which reminds me, how would they know they would get an arrow guy eyecon and create the condor weapon beforehand? I guess hammer & scythe can more or less fit any other fighter eyecon.
>They don't make a faceplate for Grimm when Ghost or Specter use him
>Not even a simple open book to match the Necrom version
>Even then, the horns don't change
