The F90 Gundams aren't named because of the year they were built.

>A limited version of F91, the designer abandon the VSBR to barter for massive production capacity. Because of these advantages, F93 is a good technology development platform.

So according to the fanartist, this is F91's equivalent of a GM.
>>
>>13813640

He copied that design from a Pixiv artist.

Copied it very nicely, but still.
>>
>>13813640
Some of these designs are pretty cool, especially the more futuristic ones. This is what I imagine post-victory suits might start to look like down the line.
>>
>>13813640
But that's silly. Wasn't the point of the F90 the flexibility of its hardpoints, and how it ended up a testbed for the F91 tech? Wasn't the F91 a huge step up in part because of how streamlined it was in comparison? And didn't the F91 see a 'limited mass production' anyway?

This is like saying ZAFT followed Freedom's design with a limited-run look-alike Freedom design that ditched its cannons for the ability to test new operating systems.
>>
>>13813640
>>13813579
This design is silly. If I had a real keyboard, I'd point out all the silly proves with it.

To be fair, I don't think English is his first language. He might mean something entirely different by "technology development platform."

> Turn-A style leg thrusters being used by anyone else

I'm not a fan of the overall suit and I can't say as I think it looks like anything might post Victory since it's just a not-F91, but I do like seeing those leg thrusters on something else for once.
>>
>>13813973
It doesn't help that Victory was mostly populated with a lot of minimalist designs, whereas that thing is so greebled it looks straight out of Unicorn.
>>
>>13813880
>And didn't the F91 see a 'limited mass production' anyway?
Yup. The Federation sent out a bunch of them to fight Seabook and the Vanguard when Zabine switched sides.
>>
>>13813640
But that's silly seeing as the F91s version of the GM was its self since it was MP'd as is pretty much as seen in crossbone.

The Templars is basically space ISIS crossed with Heaven's Gate, they are a cult of extremists with a belief that they must convert the entire galaxy to them for some sort of coming apocalypse, and when the league militaire wages war on them, they convince their followers that this is the cataclysm they have been training and waiting for and that they must fight in order to bring peace.

>>
Late UC's pretty interesting with small fast suits. I heard somewhere (might have been the wiki) that it's supposed to be like Japan's warring states period with small nations with ambitious leaders trying to form an empire.

I think a a three kingdoms style situation with the Earth Sphere, The Jovians and a Martian/ Asteroid Belt faction fighting over the Solar system would work.
>>
>>13813600
I remember a few years back someone posted a synopis of Gaia Gear, dunno how accurate it was but it seemed really underwhelming.
Full of tominoisms like a literally who ally taking MC's mobile suit for himself because reasons, completely non-threatening rival-villain kidnapping MC's girl etc.
A shame since it seems fucking amazing if you know next to nothing about it.

>main antagonist is a clone of Amuro Ray named Sebatianne Lichtstrahl
Bad. Names aren't nearly Tomino enough and clones often work out terribly. No reason to make him an Amuro clone besides more OYW wank. You said this was supposed to be better than Unicorn?
>Lichtstrahl is German for ray of light
Dumb.
>His main suit is called the RX-1 Bellatrice Gundam, design would mark the first canon monoeye Gundam chronologically
Like another anon said, why RX-1? More OYW wank? Why is it monoeye? They moved away from that in Victory.
>Protag is called Diablo Albus
Sure man nobody's gonna catch that one. Not even close to a realistic name.
>New main suit is the League Militaire's spiritual successor to the RX-78-2, the LM324X78 Break Gundam
X78? Again why? Why all the OYW wank? Late UC is great because it moves past the OYW to establish something new. It was kind of like the series' first AU.
>Uso becomes the mentor figure for Diablo, new suit is the LM322Z38 Mach Gundam, which is like the Victory crossed with the Zeta
>Z38 for a Zeta clone
Again?
V2 is already broken as shit, I don't see how making a faster suit could help. In fact, I don't see how war could continue past Victory without technology soon reaching Turn A levels and wiping out humans. Transformables are basically outdated since WoL can just wipe areas of the battlefield regardless of speed anyway. Another anon mentioned that Uso would stay the hell away from war after Victory. I agree.
>Whole series is based off the concept of "white devil vs white devil"
Making the rivals the centerpiece is not a good idea for a war story.
>Sebastianne has a char-esque mask with a modified Amuro symbol on the forehead.
I'd have a hard time believing even a clone of Amuro would do this kind of shit. The Amakusa, which was just his brain data or some shit, turned a little towards the light and showed mercy. Why is Amuro suddenly A CHAR?
>>
>>13816553
Do you even fucking know what those model numbers mean?

I mean everything about your post is dumb as shit but since you went to the trouble of including actual model numbers in this little fucking snippet you'd damn well better.
>>
>>13818827
>I heard somewhere (might have been the wiki) that it's supposed to be like Japan's warring states period with small nations with ambitious leaders trying to form an empire.
I thought it was weird how I never saw that phrase, "Warring Space States", anywhere but the Wiki. But I have seen it at least one licensed work, in Crossbone Gundam: Ghost, when the Circus guy is having that meeting with the gold-colored Zanscare unit. Maybe someone else knows what old material the phrase originates from, since I never heard it in V.

But I'd really like to see that explored in a Late UC show. V just portrayed another two-way conflict like the EF vs. Zeon, except with a much weaker EF that required the League Militaire. There was the Macedonia colony, but First Gundam had an entire Side that was independent from both factions. I'd like to see the Earth Sphere carved up into more than five unique factions. Over the course of the story, various strategists try to unite the Sphere with conquest and alliances, Nobunaga's Ambition style. A normal-length series wouldn't give each faction the same amount of spotlight, but it would still be different than the two- or three-way conflicts we usually see.

>>13819479
>The Amakusa, which was just his brain data or some shit
I think it was more like the RX-78-2's brain data. It was combat data, the idea being that a bio-brain (is that what Crossbone calls them?) would learn to pilot like Amuro by reading his play-by-plays. I guess altruism and Newtype ability can be gleaned from combat data, too...

>>
>>13819882
Well the other name I was thinking of was Chudo which is Russian for miracle, but it sounded too much like Uso
>>
>>13821215
Naming your MC "Huwaito Devil" is retarded. Give him a made-up name. You could probably count the people in Victory with realistic names on one hand. Handgelg Ewin. Odelo Henrik. Marbet Fingerhat. None of these names mean anything. Give him a Tomino name and rely on the character, not the name. If the name becomes a title, you messed up.
>>
>>13821237
Something like Bahari Alva could work, while it may not have meaning, it does have a reference, Alva also begin the middle name of Thomas Edison. I want to make a character that has experienced living under a oppressive regime and manages to channel their need for freedom and survival into fighting, Besides that, they wouldn't have a distinct faction, instead simply trying to get rid of whichever one has the upper hand in battle. Even though they are scarred by oppression and war, they believe that the good in people can't be erased, only bottled up like a repressed memory
>>
>>13821262
Not bad for a name but it's still the least of your problems. I'd say rework the story and background a few times just to get different angles and ideas. It helps me when I'm trying to think. Otherwise on a personal level I'd say drop most of anything directly related to the OYW. So, no RX, no clone, no spiritual successor X78, probably stick with a single main Gundam (which can always get a mid-season upgrade in order to have 2 on the field at once), etc. However, that's personal preference. One backed with good reason and the story's best interest in mind, but still a preference.

>simply trying to get rid of whichever one has the upper hand in battle
Sounds like a recipe for endless war.
>>
>>13821300
Alva would try to basically attempt to cull each faction, attempt to create peace by getting rid of the armies that are participating in it

By reworking does that mean getting rid of space Isis angle with the Templar? or should they operate more like a cult or guerrilla type faction?

>>13816553

Well as long as we're posting fanfic

>takes place after Victory, year is UC 190ish
>there haven't even been any wars since then, all money has been going into fixing a broken system
>crime rate is way, way up but no large resistance faction has risen up like in past years, basically humanity is just stagnant and slowly crumbling
>slow-moving resource-rich fuckhuge asteroid enters solar system, basically the ultimate gold mine
>Federation claims it as theirs and lands some drones, knock it into a stable orbit, etc. like they did with Luna II
>call it something like Hecate because of shape, doesn't really matter, call it Luna III even
>obviously the Federation has been deteriorating and Victory didn't help, political parties had been looking to try to fix shit but lack of resources and outdated politics kept much from happening
>since this is a clear opportunity to evict one side forever, factions form and the Federation splits between Loyalists (Earth Federation) and Reformers (New Confederation of Humankind)
>Confederation emphasizes that there will be no single ruler like in the Federation, it's a unity between different spheres that have accepted the need to govern different places in different ways
>most members are young and idealistic and want to change a shitty political system instead of growing up and dealing with their parents' apathetic legacy
>MC is just a semi-experienced colony kid (18ish) who was supposed to be a pilot in the Federation
>decides to join with the Confederation to follow his superiors, doesn't really know better
>gains some experiences piloting, doesn't see much battle but he learns about what the Confederation believes in
>sounds good man, the Federation just doesn't work anymore

>detaches mobile armor, hops in his CO's machine and flies away (leaves CO, niggas dead anyway)
>this thing is a Gundam, obviously
>fights for the Federation for part of the series, these guys are a lot more utilitarian and MC absorbs some of it because he's 18 man, cut him some slack
>his rival is someone who left with him, a strong supporter of the Confederation, instead of a mask he has a tattoo that covers most of his face just to be different
>lots of fighting around Luna III, even some on Earth
>one day called in for Operation Dicksmack, a sure-fire way to stop those Confederate bastards from doing anything like they tried back then
>right boy, isn't that what you want to prevent, since you saw it first hand?
>if you end it now you can be sure we won't do it again but the Confederation would do this ten times over if they could

Part 2/?
>>
>>13821401
>this time he's the one and only guy, no need for a second man since he's becoming very experienced, even to the point of being an ace
>MC goes through with it very hesitantly but still ends up doing it
>it all comes tumbling down, tens of thousands die, holy shit everyone is as bad as each other and that includes me
>MC decides it's time for the Federation to go but the Confederation is already doomed to follow in its footsteps
>grabs some friends from both sides, has to escape those who now hate his guts, even has to kill a couple, shit sucks
>finally gathers a small crew
>their job: hijack Luna III and put it in orbit around Jupiter, because staying near Earth is for fucking faggots and everyone else around Jupiter GTFO when Earth couldn't handle sending resources anymore
>blast their way through what is basically an asteroid-wide contested zone with one ship, a handful of MS from both sides and the MC in his rapist Gundam
>steal a fucking giant asteroid and use minovsky drives or nuclear whatevers to launch away from Earth
>as he's leaving, he tells everyone that you can't cling to the Earth forever and that anyone who wants to live peacefully around Jupiter and start something new can join them
>enough people follow to start the first of the new Jupiter colonies
>MC's friends can still defend Jupiter fine even without the Gundam because they have the raw resources and massive trading power that comes with having a space goldmine and the government is run by a competent man so it won't self-destruct in the first generation at least
>MC engages in one final battle with his rival to protect those who want to leave for Jupiter, both beat the everloving shit out of each other until they're on the suit's last legs, series ends with a still of their final joust
>the rest is up to humanity

Part 3/3
>>
>>13821349
That never works. And the Templar seem fine (maybe only because you haven't talked about them much) if you can explain how they convert a huge mass of people who are usually almost nonreligious into fanatics. Did they perform miracles?

I said rework your story because it seems you're making a rival vs rival show in a war story franchise. And I thought that your Gundam designs sounded dumb but that's just me. Lose connections with the OYW. Lose connections with Uso.
>>
bomp for late UC love
>>
>>13823329
I was thinking that they would be able to preform miracles, like bring back the dead, cure people of ailments.
>>
>>13825277
And how do they do that? Is it real? Is there a legitimate reason to back them? How would they fake it if it isn't? etc.
>>
>>13825801
It's somewhat real and somewhat not, the Templars basically subject all their members to rigorous gene therapy and modification to the point that they gain superhuman abilities that let them cure diseases and stay alive without pulses
>>
>>13825999
Too far out there. Make it a small, elite group of fighters/public relations people. Templars can go full Stalin and give them credit for what the main army is doing. And no realistic gene mods can give you super healing powers, even the "no pulse" thing is dumb. You can just have them pop a drug or stage the "miracles" up with willing civvies. I'm guessing you want these people to kind of be like cyber-newtypes of the past?
>>
>>13826550
Basically, but they are seen less as super soldiers and more as gods or some form of religious icon, as where they come from is very primitive and isolated compared to what would be the current human society in about UC 164
>>
>>13826550
To add to that, if you want to push the religion thing (kind of like Zanscare and muh healing goddess except theirs was some real newtype shit) then you can have them institute mandatory worship of their idol. Scripture would be mostly normal so it would integrate easily enough but contain messages about whatever Templars want to push (kind of like how whenever certain dates roll around, some Christian groups start going apeshit and spam Revelations passages and scream REPENT OR HELL, or whatever ISIS claims the Koran is telling them to do) like "ascension" while still in the physical body (justifying the appearance of savior-like supermen), breaking free of oppressive masters to find "peace" (justification of war), etc. Basically shit that is vague but could be twisted however they want. Also having a mandatory gathering place to promote deindividuation. Just remember:
1. It has to be strong enough to convert a region of fairly non-religious people in a short time (with the help of a little force).
2. It has to support the Templars without making it seem super farfetched. An extreme version of an existing belief works well but remember that Gundam doesn't really have those to start with.(kind of like fire-and-brimstone Purtianism caught on real well with early American settlers because they lived in a work-or-die environment so their lives were God, work, sleep, repeat. God part kept order and work part kept them alive.)

Because they're Autistic and want to see everything about 'Muh black history' when it makes no sense at all to begin with but I digress.

>Basically, but they are seen less as super soldiers and more as gods or some form of religious icon, as where they come from is very primitive and isolated compared to what would be the current human society in about UC 164
But to create a reason for worship they should be performing great deeds. Like I said, instead of making them ultragods just make them cyber-newtypes that are given credit for 50% of the entire army's successes while for the most part they're just running around doing PR stunts and bring """dead""" people back. Still seen as godly but they don't really have those powers. Like imagine if we worshipped American Sniper as the second coming of Jesus and we were told that he was singlehandedly beating ISIS and initiating the final Crusade, when in reality he was a hack and a liar.

I'd suggest not making the people super primitive but you could totally show how Jupiter colonies are shit. I thought you wanted them to convert the Earth Sphere but I see what you mean. I still think you shouldn't make them actually superpowered but you can hype up the worship part in Jupiter sphere and even have a few supporters elsewhere, like the American Nazi sympathizer group during WWII.

This, having every name be some meaningful thing that in some foreign language just means their exact archetype then you've fucked up.

Just stick too random ass names together or make up your own two random ass names and stick them together and boom, you're set. Plus it's allot better than naming them...diablo. That only works if you're Satan, a Video game franchise, or an Itallian sports car. No middle-ground.

What I don't get is why Jupiter was never explained. how the fuck did that even happen, how did they live on fucking Jupiter. and why does that make them super newtypes and also why do they have better tech. How strong are they economy wise and army wise? Who was Paptimus Scirocco ? was he a leader?
