Does anyone remember this character in Dancougar? Why did she exist? What did she add to the plot? Why has she never been tokenistically been included in SRW or anything else? Did the creators forget she existed?

She is basically just a vehicule for an idol singer's career. The thing is, the idol was so ashamed of her own VA performance that she pretty stopped voice acting altogether for many years outside of a cameo in Nova. Ergo, Banpresto couldn't use her character even if they wanted to.

She was only 15 at the time so I really hope not.

Considering her young age, it's likely the Laura role wasn't even her choice, just something a manager decided would be good for her career. And she definitely wasn't ready for voice acting. No wonder she's embarassed about it.
