This show was great, gave me a bunch of Crossbone vibes too with its:

It's the battle damage, and the implication that the G-Self is completely capable of destroying any other mobile suit in the era depending on who's piloting it.

it's been rather...campy, for lack of a better word. not too crazy about the exposition they throw in your face in the first couple episodes.
the drama felt a bit forced, even by gundam standards.
despite all that I've been enjoying it so far. I like the designs and the action has been pretty good.

I genuinely like G-Reco as much as early UC. Thank you based Tomino.

I liked G-Reco for what it was but the factions (and the fact that characters switched every other episode) got confusing real fast towards the middle of the series.

The ending also left a lot to be desired but we still got GENIUS KLIM.

Yeah I got that too, it's a pity more wasn't made of the pirates. I'd love to see a Gundam series which is essentially either piracy or the wild west in space.

Also a lot of the uniforms looked pretty Crossbone Vanguard which was neat.

I also don't get how people get to "it makes no sense and is random" levels of confusions. Like sometime I missed a line which which is the one time they said their plan this episode but it would be easy enough to figure out as the episode went on. Outside that it is very straight forward

A dub would definitely help, but with Bandai Entertainment being deader than a dodo I doubt we'll ever get any dubbing done for any Gundam series bought here stateside.
