It's rather odd that they'd use Ideon and this in the prologue, but then again, this game is all over the place, and is using Tessa in the Daiku Maryuu, name-dropping Tomino, making Duminass the Gaizock's Computer Doll #3, and used some Mazinger plot from Super Robot Comic involving a Dr. Blade and his Mazinger-like robot ZERO.

Fun little odd thing though, I have to admit.

In SRWL, all of the machina pilots had a D-Soil percentage (which increases and decreases similar to morale, or Eva pilots' Synchro), and that determines their Auto Repair ability's effectiveness. I can't remember what it's called in UX, but it's not D-Soil anymore.

It's mostly well but a few issues (Played on ZTE ZMAX):

All in all, it works well. If you can use a sprite smoother as well, but even not cut ins are surprisingly high quality. PPSSPP takes care for saving and data so that's that.

Possibility of it being another Z3 is Zero.
The Moon Dwellers has sufficient high quality assets and resources it can reuse from OG2nd.

Thus when it comes time for skimping, they have more wiggle rooms.

OG Gaiden is proof of this concept. With enough reusable assets, they can focus more on the new stuff and make it great.

UNIT POSSIBILITY CHANCES
Masoukishin - Low to Null. Masoukishin will likely be taking a break for a bit because they have 3 and 1/2 games of plot they all need to go through and Moon Dwellers takes place right after OG2nd. It's too soon for them to be finished even WITH the weird timebullshit.
Shura - Low. They're off in space doing their stuff. It'd make more sense for them to return in the game that will be the big space war.
Balmar - Medium. One of the Balmar invasion fleets finally showing up could work right now, but the @3 content will more than likely be saved for a future game. Though we'll likely get a similar situation to what happened with the Cry Wolves in OGG, except for Selena and her crew.
Excellence Units - Medium. They spent an entire game going "Fuck we shouldn't have dismantled those engines." That means hopefully they'll be ready by now but knowing Terada WHO KNOWS. Even if we get them, don't count on Lighting and Eternal this game.
The Blessfield family - Medium. They're in the perfect spot for preplot shenanigans.
Son Ganlong and the other 3 members of his posse - Low. More than likely going to be on the backburner until the @3 stuff kicks in for a future game
DaiRaioh - Possible. His plot has already diverged from needing the Balmar as part of it. Baron Dobans role can easily be filled with another noble alien warrior.
