I just realized she doesn't wear a pencil skirt anymore. I wish she kept it, I get the feeling you don't see it often. Overall, the top is better but the bottom is worse.
OGMD is the third game. They didn't use third ti appeal to new users. It's the same reason why this game is focusing on a new cast and why it's reintroducing everyone through
It's also why they added beginner's mode. It locks you on normal and Touya's route. You get more pp and money in it.
Final call for predictions on SRW J's cast.
Mist Rex for Souichi.
It's already been pretty bad since the announcement. Give it a week or two and things will go back to normal, aka not dead like we were almost but not completely retarded. Especially with all the shitposting on /m/ in the past few months, it's not even worth the effort trying to figure out who's shitposting and who's serious.
Sure, but only if this is the doctor you're referring to.
You mean if she doesn't show up in the PV? Obviously she's gonna be in, the article already mentioned her.
Brace for shitposting over which of the leftover J mechs she's piloting regardless.
I never liked Granteed that much and if there's one thing that I dislike even more than most (emphasis on most, not all) Okawara designs is resdesigned Okawara designs, so for now all I've got to be hyped for is the voice cast and the returning characters.
It's rather odd that they'd use Ideon and this in the prologue, but then again, this game is all over the place, and is using Tessa in the Daiku Maryuu, name-dropping Tomino, making Duminass the Gaizock's Computer Doll #3, and used some Mazinger plot from Super Robot Comic involving a Dr. Blade and his Mazinger-like robot ZERO.
Fun little odd thing though, I have to admit.
is this how they managed to get down the granteed to earth?
>Domon can't use his stronger attacks on airborn opponents in AP
Well that's just dumb. I guess a flight module is a given for him right? Should I give him the EWAC part too? He'll always be at the frontlines in the enemies' faces since he has no range, so I guess I can use him to boost other units' hit/dodge rates.
Just a fliight module, and prepareto ditch it in the last stage.
God Gudnam has only one part slot without Fuunsaiki, but its Tenkyoken can pierce barriers when riding the horse because fuck you
PV hype is real.
shame that I need to get some sleep and will miss when it'll go live.
>PV shows up, shows the standard sort of things one can expect at this point
>Starts drawing to a close
>Enough time for one last battle scene
>Surprise appearance of R-1/Psybuster combo attack
I can't remember if that's actually what it was called, but there you go.
Solvaris and the blue mecha that makes it up need BIG redesigns though, I mean, the blue thing could probably work without redesign, it would just have plank legs like Beelzelute and no one seems to mind that, but Solvaris needs to have his waist and maybe head fixed, and Regina needs to be made a fucking centaur, because the damn thing is STANDING ON REVILAS' ARMS WITH IT'S LEGS HANGING LIKE A FUCKING SIDESKIRT
It's impossible someone was actually retarded enough to approve of LEGS hanging off next to ARMS THAT BECAME LEGS
No, seriously just move the stuff around a bit and you have a fully working centaur mecha, you can even give it an attack where it stomps on the enemy with Revilas' arms because these things can produce beam blades
W-well...You can predent it's a queen on a horse! But really, Regina looked awful on a small DS sprite, she's going to look even worse when we'll get a HD sprite and the legs hanging off will be visible all the time instead of just on the official artwork
My point is that they thought it was important enough that it gets front cover stuff, and on top of that they're apparently making this game more accessible to newbies. It's not getting nerfed or disposed of.
So are they actually featuring K in the next game or are you guys just going off rumors
>MD pulls a Z2/Z3, ends with an epilogue teaser where everything's going to shit.
>Psybuster's disembodied arm
>Cracked BF logo lying on the ground
>RaiOh smashed apart, scarred
>MUCUS MUCUS EVERYWHER
>Ending with overlooking shadows of Kaiser Ephes and even more barely visible, Noa
Question about the Linebarrel mechs in UX.
I noticed they get HP back after they get hit. Is there anyway I can increase that amount (it's like 1000 for the blue guy and 400 for the yellow sumo)
and Tobikage appears if oneof the machines it can combine with is below 60% HP and then a forced fusion at 30%?
and why is Heroman lame?
>I noticed they get HP back after they get hit. Is there anyway I can increase that amount (it's like 1000 for the blue guy and 400 for the yellow sumo)
In SRWL, all of the machina pilots had a D-Soil percentage (which increases and decreases similar to morale, or Eva pilots' Synchro), and that determines their Auto Repair ability's effectiveness. I can't remember what it's called in UX, but it's not D-Soil anymore.
>Is there anyway I can increase that amount
It increases with their Factor level, I think.
>and Tobikage appears if oneof the machines it can combine with is below 60% HP and then a forced fusion at 30%?
>and why is Heroman lame?
Even Shadan has a toy.
>of mechanical things
No, fleshbags only.
>1) The Linebarrels HP Regen is based on total amount of HP, iirc. Can't remember the exact formula but I'm pretty sure its that.
Scratch that. It's Factor Level. Forgot that was a thing in UX. I was probably confusing it someone else's HP regen.
Don't have Full Armor yet?
It'd still be cool to see both side by side. Maybe even with a combination attack.
Like, have Kouta completely master the art of being a fighter and have a way to make Roa regain his physical form.
What surprises in the PV could really blow your mind?
Maybe the Shuras returning. There are so many units to use that didn't get enough screentime in OGG. Like Agares and that blonde bitch.
Because you don't have him partnered with a +flying partner, because you have neither armor, Trinity Charge, nor O Spark, and because it has no MAGNET attacks and his coolest shit in the show was magnets.
Heroman is weird. His best attack for most of the game can't hit airborne enemies naturally (come on if Joey can run in space he can run upwards), and then after spending the entire game as a pure low-range melee unit it gets an extra form... and both the new and old forms get non-P sniping finishers.
Guess I didn't notice the new thread.
It's mostly well but a few issues (Played on ZTE ZMAX):
>Lines if your using certain renders
>Certain attacks can lag, but it's actually case by case and not all finishers (Dancoken comes to Mind)
> Speedup makes things less hassling
> Audio player can lag sometimes without the right settings.
> Some things like the burning things in the title screen and bullet holes might not work well.
All in all, it works well. If you can use a sprite smoother as well, but even not cut ins are surprisingly high quality. PPSSPP takes care for saving and data so that's that.
I just read all the GC stuff. I can live with the enemies being altered, but no real (not even a redesign), forcing the male/female protagonists together, and locking the mode changes of the Super to each other is just awful.
Only through my good will are these memes created.
Do not forget the glory of your benefactor.
PV1 for 2ndOG was 3 minutes long and actually showed off a handful of in-game animations. Considering this is supposedly 70% done I would assume we'd get some decent footage for the reveal.
As much as I dislike it, they have their hands tied here. They don't own the rights to G-Breaker, and those are all G-Breaker designs with ever so slight modifications.
Guess who does own those designs! Come on, guess, it's ok. I'll give you a hint, this isn't the first time OG stuff has been blocked, and arguably it's a lot smaller of a deal this time.
What's the point of cutting shit if apparently not even all old units will be in the game for plot reasons or whatever? Might as well just go all out with the new stuff.
Lazypresto, I swear.
Staring at the screens really hard I noticed a couple of things:
The following units are on earth:
Akemi/Soul Saber GG
Kouta/G Compatible Kaiser
Rio/Exbein Gunner Type L
Akimi/Soul Saber FF
Ryoto/Exbein Boxer Type R
>Time to make up new Spirits/Senshins.Fierce - 30 SP, for one turn, all damage done is increased by 1.2/1.25/1.3.Great with Focus and mook destroying I guess. Best for "those" stages.
So, the "make you crit every attack for a turn" spirit, except better because it's the same price and stacks with crits?
Its 70% done grunts are always the last thing to be animated
In the scans it shows a different angle than from when it was in 2ndOG. The animation may not be completely redone but it at least looks like older units may be getting new cut-ins and more dynamic angles.
Or go the DMC1 dick route, if you start a run in Beginner Mode, all subsequent runs on that savefile will be locked to Beginner's mode forever, so you need to play the game from scratch in normal
Will the J themes remix going to be Dark Prison tier or Crying Survivor tier?
All of them are getting new mechs, since the original ones were G-Breaker designs and they don't have rights to them. Which is kind of sad, especially since that means no Real MC mech either, but oh well.
No clue what they're going to do storywise though.
It's a good thing you can ignore it. It could have been like other games that nerf the difficulty for everything, and there's no way to play the game in a difficulty based on the previous games.
I never had trouble with Heroman killing every other type of enemy. I just paired it with a flyer (R-Daigun first, then Naked), and had it punch things all day and shit worked out great.
Yes. Do you expect me to know every /m/ series ever made? I know all the ones >>13776071 and >>13776086 listed, as well as things like Dangaioh, but I'm curious if there are any others I don't know about.
Possibility of it being another Z3 is Zero.
The Moon Dwellers has sufficient high quality assets and resources it can reuse from OG2nd.
Thus when it comes time for skimping, they have more wiggle rooms.
OG Gaiden is proof of this concept. With enough reusable assets, they can focus more on the new stuff and make it great.
im mechasexual bitch
>Gain and Luck and Invincible for the cost of just Gain
Despairing about the fact that there doesn't seem to be any video on the internet that is purely the Shouretsuteitou Ryuusou transformation.
I even asked Vachidra politely to find it, and nothing has come up there...
You're misreading it, I mean it reduces the CASTER's attack damage to 20%
In other words, it makes it harder to finish off the enemy, but if you can do it, then you get Luck and Gain for cheap
The Compattible Kaiser wasn't a new robot, Kisaburo merely found the remains and patched it up using tech from the DGG series so the BF could be seen as a leftover of the Great Battle days.
Also motif, got to keep it recognizable.
UNIT POSSIBILITY CHANCES
Masoukishin - Low to Null. Masoukishin will likely be taking a break for a bit because they have 3 and 1/2 games of plot they all need to go through and Moon Dwellers takes place right after OG2nd. It's too soon for them to be finished even WITH the weird timebullshit.
Shura - Low. They're off in space doing their stuff. It'd make more sense for them to return in the game that will be the big space war.
Balmar - Medium. One of the Balmar invasion fleets finally showing up could work right now, but the @3 content will more than likely be saved for a future game. Though we'll likely get a similar situation to what happened with the Cry Wolves in OGG, except for Selena and her crew.
Excellence Units - Medium. They spent an entire game going "Fuck we shouldn't have dismantled those engines." That means hopefully they'll be ready by now but knowing Terada WHO KNOWS. Even if we get them, don't count on Lighting and Eternal this game.
The Blessfield family - Medium. They're in the perfect spot for preplot shenanigans.
Son Ganlong and the other 3 members of his posse - Low. More than likely going to be on the backburner until the @3 stuff kicks in for a future game
DaiRaioh - Possible. His plot has already diverged from needing the Balmar as part of it. Baron Dobans role can easily be filled with another noble alien warrior.
A lot of new JAM Project song suffer from this
Like Wing of Legend for example. The middle and slower part really kill the song and hype. Though the chorus part is really fucking good
I actually love Wings of Legend though, I think the slower part does it better because of how it makes the last part feel REALLY HYPE. Its only problem is that they used it as a fucking battle theme with no edits in its original game, and it is terrible for that.
Wings of the Legend is great, and I like Kessen even if it is one of their weaker tracks. If I had to pick a song that I think really suffers from rapidly changing tones I'd probably say Olympia
Would be nice of them to do "hey, we got some leftover designs for a artillery and marine warfare units. Why not make them too?"
Also, the original J plot has the protags with a device that prevents the fury from using their time hax powers. Why not modify the Excellences engine to do that?
Here's PXZ2's version of the SF2 movie theme.
Let me know how it sounds to you, I'm trying to see if the quality can be improved.
>mfw waiting the song to build up before finishing Euzeth with BBC
I don't think it'd work that way. If Cytron stops time from flowing, and the Excellences run on the flow of time, more likely they'd be frozen like everyone else (though they might have some sort of failsafe that protects the cockpit from things like that, I guess, leaving the R people able to talk to the rest via radio? It makes as much sense as anything else I guess.)
Go look up the first episode to that one series you've wanted to watch for a while now but haven't gotten around to doing.
Assuming you have none, but have series you have to watch, three episodes of those should fit in the timeframe quite nicely, with a little buffer to take a break in the middle.
Maybe he'll show up with Hazar and take green-hair's place as the fleet commander your beat the shit out of first.
It was green-hair you blew up first in @3, right? It's been forever since I played
You. You're a good guy. Have a SRC pic.
Lot of /m/ material to cover, you know. Have to make up for lost ground.
Oh lord I haven't updated that recently either, I'm going to have to do that now too.
thanks anon, I appreciate your contributions every thread. it's a fun engine. have an image back.
i swear to god this game is never going to give me the entirety of Geppy-X
Actual Powerpuff Girls in Super Robot Wars when?
Good to know there's somebody still looking among all this. I'm about halfway through NOVA and plan on putting up pics of the end-game line-up for those who want to pay attention.
Are you talking about the game itself missing a few units? Because unless you've already cleared that run, there's an item you can buy to make it easier on you by influencing the RNG.
Jeeg's subs are only up to like episode 9 and I'm fairly certain it has no crabsticks (or at least, none I've found.). Trider, Daiohja, God Sigma, Getter Robo Go, Gosaurer. and GR Giant Robo have no subs, and I don't think the Ryu Knight OVAs do (unless someone got to them since I last looked).
The game itself, I didn't know parts were translated so I've been doing this for hard resets for god knows how long. I'm still doing that one too, if that list is translated at all.
I'll say one good thing I got out of this, it gave me the motivation to look into Dancouga BURN, and to my surprise it was translated in it's entirety. It's edgy, grimderp and hilariously bad in classic Hasegawa style, but it's an enjoyable kind of bad and it's setting post apocalypseworks well for a story I was writing, so it was worth it.
>to my surprise it was translated in it's entirety
/m/'s own Oppai-Missile - you know, that guy who's helping the GC translation? - is the one who did it.
And yeah, it's pretty great.
Well, keep at it, anon, you'll get what you need soon enough. I'd help out if I could on anything. Since I've quite literally forced the game to allow me to collect everything, there's not much left on that particular game until new series get put in, if ever.
I like that they gave BURN a combo with Hasegawa's other work, DaiSword.
Download the Custom Units pack, look through the file set-up, read the SRC Engine manual and hope it suddenly starts making sense to you, just like people who read the Necronomicon
oh, really? Cool. I haven't really kept up with the GC translation much but it looks like it was translated pretty well so I gotta give him props to that.
And it's pretty fun. Stupid raging hormone fun, but it's a fun I don't get to experience a lot of.
I'm looking through all my B units in the list, and I don't see anything that really matches that, unless you meant what Matt said here. >>13776423
Can you remember anything about it? Is it upgrade-able? Or are you asking if something called Branxeror is actually in the game at all?
Interesting, what's it from?
It and Zwei contain 100% more Klein Sandman than any other show not named Dancouga Nova, it only contains 99.9% more Klein Sandman than that. Thus, it is good.
Ah, I see what you're asking for now. No, nothing like that is in the game. It's one of the many things that have yet to get put in.
Honestly, seems like there's plenty the guy behind the game could use to make for another 20-something series update like his last update adding more series could do. Though I guess that's moderately dependent on the community.
Then again, looking at a place where you can download new stuff for SRC, that guy actually is the one behind unit sprites and face graphics. One of his newer updates actually gave Redman a face graphic.
Relatively old fantasy manga called Boldor: The Invisible Neighbor. I can't read a lick of it, but it seems to have some pretty cool shit going on. There was a thread back in 2014 I think, where OP was trying to find this fantasy series, and I sounded really cool, but nobody could figure it out until we luck out and some random anon came along and told us all about the thing. It was amazing just how much he knew about it.
Neat. You happen to have a download link? Might be a good idea to download it, since fantasy threads come up rather often and this seems like something that's a good idea to keep around.
I originally downloaded my copy from Nyaa, but that one seems to be dead as dead can be, so hopefully one of these work.
Obviously meant for >>13776497, but I'm sure you realized that.
I'm impressed by the amount of actual crossover voicing in BX. So far I've heard Jaakujuu stuff for Setsuna, Gai, Yuji, Kouji, and Knight Gundam. Zondar stuff for Jin, Setsuna, and Akito. Youta and Falsaber have voices for quite a few villain factions but they don't count because they're OG. Are there any others?
Also, I love the Kedora mission story for this game. It's as good if not better than Z2's. Friggin' Zeus is friends with Gorg, Glitter Falsaber and Eldoran (of course). If only Ganbaruger and Gosaurer were in the game. Zeus's army of justice would've been incredible.
Despite it having so few plot stages, Shin Mazinger is pretty much always hype when it has plot.
>First stage, you get it, and aside from the incredibly minor detail that it should have the Jet Scrander at that point in the plot it's great
>Second stage, Lorelai fight and the revival of Kiba
>Third stage, that Kedora stage, Boss Borot joins and you get Lorelai if you got her (and I think Wingle gets its finisher here too?)
>Fourth stage, upgrade to GODO SCRANDER and WING CROSS, and both mechs get their new finishers - Sayaka also getting hers IIRC?
>Fifth... well, just fucking everything about it, really, Stage 37 is one of the best in the game bar none.
Oh, anon. I don't think it has very much hope, personally.
But that doesn't stop fangames, now does it?
Both 3DS games were gold mines for voiced crossover dialogue. Wouldn't be surprised if they exceeded the newer console stuff in that sort of thing.
Just another reason I'd like to see at least one more 3DS SRW come out, full of new stuff to voice. (Godannar, Shin vs. Neo, Tekkaman Blade, that sort of stuff)
Or hell, that semi-possible list I created about five threads back, according to Matt. I'd like to see the kind of crossover dialogue that could come from that.
Though it doesn't necessarily mean they'll be worth much even in fan-games.
Probably. Be something to put on your wishlist of SRW maker stories. Are any of those DL links I posted working by the way?
>the japanese bamco account on youtube?
That's what I'll be using.
>Are any of those DL links I posted working by the way?
Lemme check later tonight, ok? I can't download it at this very moment.
I won't be up for the next couple hours, so don't be surprised if I end up trying to bring it up a couple threads down the line.
The author, Hirofumi Ichikawa, is a big fan of comic books, as shown by that image and the fact that Branxeror might be based off of Ranxerox naming wise. Maybe it's something like that you see?
Guys, calm down. If they're streaming it somewhere, it won't be up elsewhere until after the stream. This just means a longer PV. Which means more things to show in a PV.
Or maybe they're being slow, I dunno.
Anonymous, I live on the west coast too. Don't pretend it isn't a 3rd world shithole.
>Everyone's reaction when Shinn stabs Kira
truly those were good times
>SazukeEX says Tenia is best girl
Welp Tenia worst confirmed
Well, Megaman has 132 titles and only sold 30 million across all games, according to Capcom themselves.
There's like, what, 50 or so SRW games out there? 16 million for them seems just about right, if not better than expected, this is SRW, not Megaman
