What /m/ characters deserved a better ending than the one they got?
this fucker right here, but for the opposite reason of most
Not the pilot, but the robot itself.
I'd say every character in the show if Tekkaman Blade II didn't exist (and it shouldn't), but Noal gets screwed over either way. Either he becomes a cripple or he gets killed offscreen as if he isn't important. Truly, the writers were sadists.
Shinji truly did not know how good he had it. I'd feel more sorry for him if he were in the position of someone like D-boy.
Went from being the best part of a show to one of the major problems of one.
The whole main cast
at least he got to go to a nice party
>Her VA died just before she could have cameo'd in Exodus
Well, but do you think that being ghost is so easy? Wandering around and watching over those two guys, visiting them in their dreams and watching them talking with their alive gfs?
Seriously, after watching A New Translation I have no idea what to think of ZZ's story. Will they completely retcon it if they do new ZZ movies given that Kamille isn't a vegetable like in the series end? I want more Kamille being a badass like when he fought Scirocco.
>sacrifice yourself for the one you love
>the one you love is a lesbian so you had no chance for her anyway
He refused to gattai with Touma, thus forming Mykage, and then he refused to absorb Mykage until after he caused all the shit he did in EVOL.
That's a whole lot of something wrong right there.
Fudo could have fixed shit thousands of years ago and was content to instead stand around in disguise acting better and smarter than everyone. Fudo did everything wrong. Fuck him.
The whole tradition of flag setting and collecting is a load of horseshit, isn't it? "HEY GUYS LOOK WHO'S GOING TO DIE NEXT! IS IT THE ONE WHO EVERYONE LIKES THAT FINALLY HAD A SINGLE LUCKY STRIKE IN HIS LIFE? OH BOY, COULD IT?"
Yeah, fuck you, Tomino. Your miserable love life is no justification.
Not sure of he counts as /m/, but he was always in the shadow of the two heroes whom everyone praised, and was never given the credit he deserved until he died
was about to post this
>starts up as a huge jerk with understandable reasons
>slowly became easily one of the best bro/side-kicks in gundam universe
Z and ZZ's flags are nothing compare to Victory's.
The only death I didn't see coming is Oliver's (and the red-hairded shrike team leader because I got counter-spoiled by GvG's openings) because it's stupid as shit.
It was either that or doing novels. Let's face it, no one in Sunrise hires him for anything else (heck, no other anime studio hired him in ages). The last time he fully directed a series not related to mecha or his Wings of Rean/Dunbine IP was Triton, and that was an adaptation. The directorial equivalent of typecasting is unfair at times.
>It was either that or doing novels.
So do novels.
Im frankly getting real sick of creators bitching about the people who hired them because they had the nerve to want turn a profit.
If you really cared your art you'd do it yourself.
See I never got why ZZ is made invalid by the movies. The Argama was still damaged, it probably would still require going to Shangri-La for repairs. They would still meet Judau and all, it;s just that Kamille would stay the pilot of the Zeta. I can see Judau joining up and eventually getting the ZZ.
