1I was just lamenting a few months ago that David Cage needed to stop fucking around and make Omikron 2 before David Bowie passed away. And now this happens. Fucking David Cage.
Also, David Bowie did more to "invent the internet" than Al Gore ever did.
I'll never forget you, Boss.

>wanting David Cage to make a game after JASON! and beyond2shit
>>13736800
Well, he is.Can't wait for the Zaibatsu to tear it limb from limb.
>>13736803
He got editors this time, it could turn out well.
Cage has a good head for intriguing premises as well as a knack for recognizing where to pull emotional torquing, he's just fucking bugnuts and too much of a hack to make it work on his own.
Oh and also too much movie not enough game. I hope he saw Until Dawn and reigned in his arrogance long enough to appreciate how that game did the Quantic Dream interactive fiction format far better than QD has done so far.

uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

I don't see how it was any different other than not being quite as pretentious. It was a "game" that was interactive by virtue of choices and quicktime events, nothing more.
>just heard him on the radio
I'm proud of you guys.
local college station near me just went into hour 2 of their marathon
>>13737691
I thought its implementation of choice as a core game mechanic was better realized than QD's games having you adhere to a script of sorts.
They're all interactive fiction movies but Until Dawn has the right amount of game going on.
>>13737691
That's why I liked Omikron. It was an actual game, not just a series of QTE's. I wish he'd get back to "games". You don't just have to make a series of QTE's to make a compelling story with branching plotlines. Life is Strange, the new King's Quest, and the Telltale Walking Dead games demonstrate that pretty well.

And Until Dawn, I hear. I got that for Christmas and still haven't played it because I haven't booted my PS4 in months.
Check this out. Art by Yoshitaka Amano.
A lot of my Japanese friends are pretty bummed out about this. Like Freddie Mercury, he had a huge following in Japan.
Since we're getting a Freddie Mercury Figuarts, I can only hope we'll get a David Bowie one.
IS THERE LIFE ON MARS?
