Like so many others have said already, yes, space train are definitely /m/. Hell, train has been super /m/ since its inception. It's one of the earliest symbols of the strength of the MACHINE and promise of INDUSTRY.

I really wish they make a comeback of some sort in modern shows.

Threads for older anime on /a/ are usually pretty good in my experience, but that may be in part due to their infrequency. A whole board might be a bit too much room for the topic, which tends to result in either a dead board or massive shitposting.
