Another Gunbuster episode.
1 and 2 are now in a dedicated folder, future episodes will be here as well. 3 and 4 should be up maybe tomorrow.
I love me some Gunbuster, but 2 GB per episode? Also, I don't like installing anything additional to download anything, which you have to do on Mega, if the file is larger than 1GB.
Do these have that kind of questionable redub (e.g. Super Inazuma Kick sounds super phoned in and halfhearted) or the original audio (e.g. Super Inazuma Kick makes all of my blood rush straight to my dick)?
You know you faggots aren't explaining anything and i'm an unrelated person having the same problem.
So what i guess you just sign up for an account? Or i watch as you faggots take dicks up the ass instead on explaining something that would take a second.
>You just need to download the Firefox extension to make the site work.
Oh i guess everyone's supposed to google every possible solution before asking a goddamn question. Thank you sincerely.
Click the link to Mega.
Then click either episode 1 or episode 2 twice.
Personally, I recommend you watch episode 1 first.
The episode will then download.
Watch the episode.
Am I crazy or is the REVO encode slightly sharper?
Besides the audio tracks (which is why I'm switching over to the EG version anyway) is there any noticeable quality increase?
I could just be splitting hairs. 1-4 were done on 16mm so the difference isn't going to be much of anything at 1080 anyway right?
Is that included in CCCP? I'm playing them on MPCHC with the default CCCP settings. Am I fucking myself over?
If I am, what do you recommend I do?
It's been awhile, so I think MY card is maybe mid grade.
I run a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti. Should I bother? I've been mining the archives for answers, & KCP keeps coming up as better than CCCP.
Should I try KCP?
Don't waste your time with KPC; madVR isn't hard to set up, and you're already using CCCP which is fine.
Download the madVR zip here and feel free to extract it wherever you want. I put it in my program files, so I'd recommend that.
There's also a pretty good (but a bit outdated) guide on how to configure madVR on MAL.
Just skip straight to the madVR section and ignore everything else.
Also as I suspected, something's up with your color. Fix your levels in the GPU settings.
Here's mine with jinc up to 1080.
Does this please your autism? I just installed KCP, so after uninstalling all my old codecs etc, I should be running MADVR with all the correct color settings.
BTW: Will you be doing both versions of the later episodes that run in 16:9? I wouldn't mind having both versions to compare, even if they are unfinished. Also, any plans for the scifi lessons?
RX782, about the whole "when I'm gone" thing... You aren't going to die or anything are you? I know you plan on retiring from your position as /m/'s unofficial bro-tier encoder, but you'll still be posting/lurking on /m/ (even if you have your trip off) right?
Trip will stay simply because I'm known here and I like to comment on technical matters. Truth is, I've been getting more and more tired with this, have less and less of an interest in anime overall, etc. I've got other things going on in life, and other things I'd like to do. I'm sure you realize I've been doing this for a long time now, so there's only so many years I could put into it.
I see. Thank you for answering.
That's perfectly understandable. Encoding can be just as much of a demanding hobby as fansubbing. At the very least, the Ideon, Turn A and Zeta projects should be finished before you can get a well-earned retirement (unlike what Hayao Miyazaki seems to be doing).
I'll say this: Zeta is my lowest priority, because it does already exist. I'd like to redo it, but if I lose steam before that, I won't feel bad honestly. My immediate goals are Turn-A, Ideon, and Outlaw Star. Gunbuster is basically done, so no worries there.
That's out on Bluray? Well hot damn. That's good news. Too bad madhouse doesn't do blurays. I've been wanting an ippo or Trigun bluray forever now, but it's just not going to happen.
Eh, I still have no interesting in subbing it. I suppose I could take Bloat's script since everybody seems to have synced the 2D4U version to Bloat anyway. I don't mind this, I made the 2D4U version for others to work with anyway, though I was hoping a totally new set of subs would have popped up by now. Maybe I'll do a raw release, who knows. I might not be around by then.
Yeah, I'm about 50% done getting the BDs.
Probably in a few days.
That poster just doesn't understand that these are pretty grainy, and I'm keeping most of it. They may be 720p, but they're encoded to be played back with upscaling in mind. REVO's is smaller than mine at 1080, so it's naturally going to be bit-starved in comparison.
