Build burning is a original design and is not based on the God/burning gundam. It lists no base gundam in its official bio and doesn't have anything directly from them.

It does carry a lot of G flavor though, which makes sense since it's okawara and its supposed to be a martial arts gundam.

Winning gundam is also confirmed as an original design with no base MS.

Aside from the shoulders they have the exact same silhouette. Foot shape and design. The leg vents were carried into the ankle armor as well as any hard points for adding Plavksy shenanigans. Even the crotch piece is the same. I'd be really surprised if in show its not based on anything Gundam as a base.

Freedom and X have nearly identical crotch pieces as well and freedom and strike freedom have similar ankle armor too. The feet on them are the same too.

Okawara recycles A LOT of design elements across his original designs.

And here's the thing, a lot of the stuff is similar, but nothing except the crotch is identical to anything else. Pretty much every other BF design has made changes, but retained some identical pieces. They all also list a base design on their pages. Build burning only has similarities at best (And as I said okawara recycles a lot of different parts designs) and doesn't list anything on its page as a abse. Winning gundam also doesn't list anything and was confirmed as an original design.

I'm not sure if anyone has talked about the voice actors yet, so here we go:

Sekai's voice actress is Togashi Kazumi, and it appears to be her first lead role, but she did Annelotte (Hobo's girlfriend, IIRC) in SRW Z3-1.

Yuuma's voice actor is Uchida Yuuma, who also appears to have only done minor roles and extras before.

Fumina's voice actress is Makino Yui, who amazingly seems to be a relative veteran. She voiced Honoka in Flying Cake Girl, Mio (the pink loli) in NEEDLESS and Sakura in several of the Tsubasa and xxxholic adaptations.

So much like the original series, this looks like it's going to be newbies galore.

It's described as being full of gimmicks.
The Lightning Gundam on the other hand has tons of slots to fit pegs all over it's body (one on each arm, each shoulder, each leg, each side of the waist armor, and one on it's back at least), so the SD could maybe split apart into armor for the Lightning if you really want them to gattai.

Winning will combine with both Lightning and Build Burning to make Gundam TRY, which itself can be formed in 3 different ways. At first the three will be hesitant towards combining but as they grow as comrades it will become more powerful, representing their growth as friends.

Each protagonist ends up with their own person to pair off with, not each other. Sekai will get a young Allenby-esque girl that's also new to Gunpla, Yuuma will get Sazaki's sister, and Fumino will get an eager young modeler who looks up to her. If this happens someone owes me 10 bucks.
