Why are biomechanical mecha so fucking awesome?
Anyways, biomecha apprecation thread?
A girl and her bio-power-armor
>>11079461
Because they combine the awesomeness of /m/ with the weirdness of living things!
>>11079461
Biomechanical sub-dragons
>>11079461
The obvious
>>11079461
>>11079461
And another one
>>11081432
don;t usually like Evas, but nice
Best OVA ever, amiright?hint: I'm wrong, but damn if it isn't sexy as fuck
>>11081452
>does gris on cool beetle knight
Is this anime Aura Battler Dunbine any good?
>>11081510
Dunbine is pretty fun, drags a bit in the middle with repeating the same plot points over and over again
The OVA where that design is from is pretty great but the HK-tier subs make it hard to follow
>>11081527
The synopsis makes it look an awful lot like Escaflowne.
In fact, googled pictures gave me that impression even before that.
>>11081534
It's absolutely nothing like Escaflowne. Trust me, that'll be evident from the first episode alone.
>>11081534
Is has the same 'modern day person sent to fantasy mecha world' opening, but the plot is waaaay more 70's tomino war story than shoujo
and S2 throws that out the window and changes the setting
DH counts, right?
>Why are biomechanical mecha so fucking awesome?
Because regular machines are lame and turbogay.
>>11079461
Because biological has the power of regrowth.
>>11079461
what if I told you humans are the most biomechanical mecha around
>>11081534
Dunbine has a lot of interesting fantasy elements that are fun to look at. I especially liked some of the monsters we saw but they aren't really a focus. The ending is great too.
>>11081742
this is fucked up. this fucked me up
>>11081761
Not him, but it is kind of true. All all animals are in a very real sense just a protective suit for their DNA that's built up over eons to suit their surrounding environment.
>>11081767
so when we fap is it a something our cells democratically agree on, our does some dna tyrant demand that we fap?
>>11081806
Your brain is just a highly sophisticated AI.
>>11081806
Essentially, you're running a routine equipment check and recalibrating you're sex drive.
Fapping to someone like Lisa Ann must be a sign of system failure or corrupted subroutines.
>>11081956
She can corrupt my sub-routine any time.
Semi biomechanical shit I've been working on, what do yall think
>>11081956
And what would fapping to anything other than healthy members of the opposite sex mean?
>>11081989
neat
what exactly am I looking at here?
>>11081998
A 1950's stylized mech, sorta like fallout inspired, with organic parts like the heads and arms mixed with machinery for the core, and nuclear powered
the lack of Brain Powerd bothers me...
>>11081990
I don't know. I honestly just felt like writing "Lisa Ann"
>>11082017
"you got wasted again didn't you?"
"don't judge me"
>>11079923
/m/ + /d/ = biomecha
Do you know what's overlooked? Plant biomech.
>>11082393
There needs to be more plant things in general.
>>11079461
Keith Thompson can draw some scary biomechanical stuff.
>>11082473
Agreed.
Biomech needs cool biomounts
>>11082548
>>11082393
>>11082473
>>11082528
yes
>>11082742
Oh, all BW/BM TFs would count as biomech, wouldn't they?
>>11082887
Technically not, but they have the look.
>this whole thread
>still no Nodos
/m/, you disappoint me.
>>11082912
i even got scared by a few beast wars toys back then
i mean, they use flesh as armor
>>11083641
oh! I remember this show, good show
More Splicers
>>11082225
Mecha waifus will always be infinitely superior to Biomecha waifus.
all this and no freaking guyver
>>11083641
The Nodos are about as much of a biomech as Godzilla, sweet reformation sequence out of Age's eye crystal notwithstanding.
>>11084488
Control+F
2 result's for Guyver. Come on guys.
Guyver is like the epitaph of bioarmor.
>>11084493
Guyver vs Tekkaman Blade. Who wins the shading war? (On a good day, obviously, since the bad part of Blade is really damn bad)
Dunno if it counts but I really like the xam'd designs
>>11084584
Xam'd aren't biomecha, but it can be argued that the piloted Humanforms are, and the ASP suits are full mecha.

>you can never use naked jehuty for the rest of newgame plus because of that retarded mission to safe taper
for what purpose kojima
>>11084980
fucking ZotE
they took "cockpit" and ran with it
and I love them because of it
>>11085004
You couldn't make it past safe taper? What are you, retarded? You tap GENTLY on the button. You can't kill him unless you use a burst shot. Failing that, you use an area-of-effect sub-weapon.
I feel bad for having sexual feelings about Nephtis in my youth.
>>11081426
Spoiler that shit, anon
>>11079461
For you guys who like planet mechs, there's a game called Jutei Senki for the SNES that has a lot of them. Emulate it when you can, it was translated by Aeon Genesis.
>>11090227
That looks delicious for me for some reason. Probably because I once saw a dissemble of a whole tuna in some Japanese fish market.
>>11090243
I'll check it out sometime Gunlord thanks.
>>11081432
For some reason that art style makes me think of the Grubs/Locust from Gears of WAr
>>11090428
I like it, except for the teeth - which seem kind of weird.

Has anybody else read this trilogy? It was written by a DARPA researcher and illustrates what he sees as the future of warfare. A lot of cool biomechanical concepts. He goes into detail about placing genetically engineered subhuman "pilots" into specially built exosuits and fusing their flesh with it. The writing is ok, but the ideas and technology is really imaginative.

God, he really does make some incredible stuff.

>>11097606
Seems interesting, I'll check it out sometime.
>>11097667
Some of it is creepy as fuck. They have these genetically engineered small humans with no faces, limbs, or pigment, with huge craniums and no limbs that are surgically wired into mechanical bodies. And you have fully autonomous human soldiers that start decaying a couple years after their production. Basically it's a desolate future where bioethics is thrown out the window.
>>11082542
This ALMOST looks like furry art
I just can't put my finger on it but I suspect this artist likes to secretly draw animal dicks
