Does anyone have a chart of Marxist writers, and their important works?
I want on with all of them from Marx, to Rosa Luxemburg, Lenin, et all.
Found this list on /leftypol/ of where to start w/ basic concepts. Might not be what you're after, though and really only covers Marx, Engels and Lenin.
And like >>7625265 said, a lot of the important stuff is on marxists.org
I guess I didn't make it clear, but I want to know what about marxist philosophy is so enticing that drives the young and rich into becoming the self-appointed leaders of the revolution, even though various sub-ideologies of marxism have killed and hurt so many people both directly and indirectly. I want to try and understand their point of view better and maybe learn something.
I guess I'll go to my library and find out for myself this week, assuming the local college freshman haven't forgotten to return every copy of Das Kapital and any other slightly-left wing book. Fuck living within 15 minutes of 2 decently sized liberal colleges.
I'm not a Marxist and hate the idea of collectivism at the cost of those who know how to play the capitalist game well and get rich. I see no problem with my station in life and don't particularly enjoy the thought of robbing someone of their livelihood just because I wasn't as smart/dedicated/hard-working/lucky as them. I haven't gone to college and don't intend to, as I would most likely pay out my ass for a degree that would have no real use in the real world while also being forced to learn from people who actively hate me just because I'm a straight white male who happens to be right-leaning. I just want to know more about Marxism (at least the philosophical ideas behind it) before hating it so intensely.
Since you're only going to get meme tier responses from these idiots I will help you.
>Socialism: Utopian and Scientific, Engels
>State and Revolution, Lenin
all of these are a good base for understanding Marxist thought.
Capitalism kills the impoverished, the sick, the soldier and the worker. It kills so many.
>Millions across eastern Europe, south east Asia, and east Asia.
Marxism killed them? Dialectical materialism? How did it do so?
Marx - Capital [all 3 volumes], read the Penguin edition
Rosa Luxemburg - The Accumulation of Capital [or her "An Anti-Critique" which is essentially a shorter summary of the central thesis], this is an extension on volume 2 of capital and should be read with it
that's all you need, maybe read up on the history of french socialism, classical british economics, and classical german philosophy before diving into marx
Those people did not die natural deaths, the failures of capitalism killed them.
>Capitalism has improved their standard of living immensely and moved most people into the middle class.
Who's "their"? The people living in your gated neighborhood? Capitalism is the cause of poverty, famine and war. Leading to an untold amount of death.
>moved most people..middle class
keep telling yourself that bud
I browse /pol/ mostly, as well. That does not constitute whether or not I want to expand my mind and understand different ideologies and be able to debate their core ideas better. If anything, you're showing how reddit you are by being so opposed to anybody learning anything that goes against your personal political leanings.
I'm redpilled. There's a difference between me and redditors. By being redpilled you know that there's no relativity. Notice how your intimating that 'it's all subjective, just read Marx you'll understand', you are destroying Western civilization. Postmodernity is that very thing, which is also encouraged by the cultural marxists. No values anymore, only it's all subjective and whites are as good (or bad) as non-whites and women and men are equal etc.
It's horseshit and leftism thrives on this delusion
>want to be able to debate with marxists on their core ideology and understand their point of view so I can better dissect it
>"ur a moral relativist that kills the europe"
How do you even come to that conclusion? By wanting to understand my enemy better, which is a very European thing to do if you know anything about its history, I somehow believe that all beliefs are equal? How fucking dumb are you? You are what makes people think that /pol/ is full of a bunch of idiots.
It's not just Europe. Whites are soon a minority in USA (hispanics are not white) as well. Women on the workforce, they are going away from their natural role.
Men can now be women, and you can soon marry children and animals because "progressivism", and their just being oppressed.
This is all Marxist ideas, encouraged and pushed by leftist media.
Wanna know another redpill idea, my near-illiterate friend? Challenging your ideas and beliefs to either learn something new and either be set on the correct path of truth or have your current beliefs tempered to become even stronger. If you aren't willing to challenge your own beliefs, what makes you any different from the average university professor if you have so little faith in your beliefs that reading something that isn't what you agree with must be ignored at all costs?
I don't need anything besides the redpill, because it's truth. I don't need it relativized by marxists and postmodernist feminist cucks.
See undeniable facts:
read the Bell Curve.
There you can draw some conclusions
See Western civilization, and who created it (men, not women)
See who owns the media (communist Jews)
Whites are being bred out of existence (see migration numbers).
Does reading Karl Marx or other liberals change any of those facts? No.
>Whites are soon a minority in USA (hispanics are not white) as well.
I hate to break it to all the gleeful liberals hoping to destroy what's left of traditional whites...hispanics are more white than italians are, that's for sure. in fact, most hispanic immigrants have conservative values, and again sorry to sadden the papist despots hoping to take over america with a flood of catholics, many of the immigrants are turning away from "pagan" catholicism for the true teachings of jesus by way of evangelical protestantism....so guess what degenerate liberals and corrupt catholics? the central american immigrants are replenishing the W(AS)P supply, haha, you gone get hoisted on ya own immigration petard, bitches
I just read comrade Ta-Nehisi's latest piece attacking the Sanders campaign, including with said text was a massive pic of Sanders bald spot (has any other candidate in memory had so many "top view" shots taken of him by the establishment press? not likely) where he argues Sanders is a racist old man who blacks shouldn't support since he doesn't want reparations to be part of his campaign platform. Coates constant ranting about reperations always rustled me a little, since air dropping a bunch of white people's cash into the hood is not going to fix the problems in the black community, but with his attacks on Sanders I now realize Coates was never really serious anyways, he was always a tool of 1% rule. The thing rustling my jimmies now is a cool breeze while I sit back and bask in white privilege knowing good ol' Ta-Nehisi is hard at work to keep progressives out of the white house. Thanks buddy, let's see to it you get another one of those Genius Awards for all you've done!
