Back when I had it I did, although weirdly it was usually a precursor to the PMS. It would hit for like a week. Varied from being down for no reason to contemplating death on the daily. Could it be vaginismus? It's basically a psychosomatic condition where anxiety makes you tighten up so that penetration is painful. It's associated with sexual abuse, traumatic childbirth, bad yeast infections, etc. I've also read FtMs seem to be prone to it (which makes sense).

I DID actually used to feel the same way, and had really bad genital dysphoria up until my early twenties. But I was also looking at suicide if I didn't get past it, so...I did, for the most part.

It's hard to explain how to make dysphoria any better, but I found it helped me to just view things more clinically. Like, it's just tissue, not inherently good or bad.

I never really got to LIKE penetration (still hurts, especially on T, so I basically have given up on it completely this year), but it's no skin off my nose if someone else wants to make it work.
