FAQ
>What is a fem?
An androgynous male with feminine and soft features. Most are gay.
>Are fem guys trans?
Some inevitably turn out trans. Some age into twunkhood and continue slutting it up on Grindr well past their mid twenties.
>Can I be a fem?
It's possible. Masculine bone structure, height, and aging make it hard.
>Should I go on HRT?
You'll look younger longer and you won't age like a man. There's more info in the pastebin.
>Is liking fems considered gay or straight?
Gay. If you're on the fence, you're bi, like a lot of people.
>Spammers?

talk to a dermatologist about your scalp
you don't know that you have mpb until you've been checked for it, likely by said dermatologist
there are many contributing factors in hair loss, a lot of which come exactly from stress and anxiety to form a viscious cycle of hair loss
if you do have mpb, you'll likely be given the option to take finasteride/propecia (typically 1-5 mg [1mg is enough, since there are diminishing returns right away, but 5 won't exactly kill you]) which is an fda approved method of reducing the effects of mpb
also be sure to understand that finasteride, like most medications, has side effects that should be considered
the other fda approved method of reducing hair loss due to pattern baldness is minoxidil (rogaine)
though often less effective, it has the potential to help if used twice a day, every day until you die
there are also dietary changes that can potentially help maintain healthy hair, though these are usually not proven or don't have enough of an effect to be considered helpful
i don't know how your particular situation will be, since you also have a skin condition and extremely long hair, but it should be pretty similar and i would imagine a dermatologist would be able to better help you there
be wary of scams, too, but that's basically a given in these times
there are also less healthy ways of managing the effects, depending on your goals, but try this method out first at least

Yes. What kind of hair do you have? I have straight hair, so here's my advice for people with straight hair:
- Conditioner is mandatory. It won't make a difference right away, but as time goes on your hair will look much better.
- Don't blowdry your hair. Shower at night and let it air dry.
- Don't just grow your hair out and forget about it. You need to get it regularly trimmed or the ends will look ragged.
For the days you want to look extra pretty:
- Brush your hair upside down. It will give it more volume. If your hair is thin, use a little hairspray to keep it in place afterward.
- Get an argan oil spray and use it on the ends. Be careful, though, as too much will make your hair look greasy.
- If your hair is too flat on the top and the brushing upside down trick didn't for you, you can use a small amount of volumizing powder.

it's long, but it just looks like typical long unkempt dude hair. I don't want to look like Katy Perry but I don't know how to ask a stylist for something fem/androgynous at least.

i guess i just have to suck it up and ask or see if I can find a stylist that's trans friendly, but like i said in the deep south it's hard. most stylists here are poor white girls from the country who are still very homophobic/transphobic.

>>8217911
>You don't know that you have mpb until you've been checked for it, likely by said dermatologist
Okay so the derma should be able to tell me that for sure? All I have to go on is my PCP told me I had it around 3-4 years ago. It started around 5 or so years ago and been slowly creeping back ever since. I've got a severe V thing going on and it's super thin in the middle.
Think Vegeta from DBZ, that's how I look at it.
I've heard of minoxidil before, that's a cream right? I'll be honest I'm getting pretty desperate here these past few months because I love my hair very dearly. I'll ask about all that after I pick out a good derma to talk to.
>there are also dietary changes that can potentially help
I'm a celiac and also have severe colitis, I suppose this is a good segue into me asking about diet stuff since my diet is absolutely fucked most of the time due to this.
>>8218093
My hair is straight most of the time but a little curly on the ends or short bits. I use to do a straight part down the middle but ever since my hair loss it won't lay right and it's too thin in the middle to part, so I do a backwards retarded comb thing. Like obi-wan kenobi from episode 2 sorta. Which just shows off the bald spots worse, but it won't lay right any other way.
Couple questions.
Are all conditioners basically the same? pic related is what I've used about a year now but still not sure if I even do it right.
>Don't just grow your hair out and forget about it. You need to get it regularly trimmed or the ends will look ragged
So this is a real thing? I've been told this before but I haven't gotten it cut in 5+ years or so. How much needs to be trimmed?
How does one brush their hair upside down?
>>8217890
I have a vitamin shop near here, so I should be able to find vitamin supplements as long as they aren't overly expensive.

>Okay so the derma should be able to tell me that for sure?
If they are any good, yes.
>I've heard of minoxidil before, that's a cream right?
It usually comes as a liquid, foam, or spray. I'd recommend the foam type to you in particular, since it seems to be less irritating to the scalp and you may have sensitive skin, but I'd ask a dermatologist about applying it at all with your skin condition(s). I don't really know too much about skin conditions and what affects them at this time and I don't know much extra about the spray method. Topical minoxidil also comes in 2% and 5% minoxidil content: go with the 5% ones. They're shown to have better results and the 2% one seems to mostly be used in female treatment. Minoxidil also comes in pill form but DO NOT take it in pill form, as that's mostly just a blood pressure medication.
>I'm a celiac and also have severe colitis...me asking about diet stuff
Well probably nothing with gluten, eh? But seriously, I'm not too sure what sorts of foods/suppliments would work for you off the top of my head. I can look into it, but this week is so swamped I'm starting to see Shrek when I close my eyes.
>Are all conditioners basically the same?
Technically, in that they all condition, but there are important differences between different types. One should choose a conditioner that fits their hair style. Kind of like how you wouldn't wash cotton fabric the same way you would wash silk fabric. Normally people choose a conditioner based on their hair texture or hair health. Like, the conditioner you have is meant for frizzy hair; do you have frizzy hair? There are guides on how to choose a good conditioner, and it doesn't need to be an absolute perfect fit for it to do a good job, but that would be a good start.
Fitting shampoos are also probably not a bad touch, but I don't know much about those.
>>
>>8220505
Yes, I do have extremely sensitive skin, something of which I really hope they can help me with. It really sucks having red scaly itchy skin in horrible places. But that's a lot of info on minoxidil to digest, thank you.
>Nothing with gluten, eh?
Yeah that's the big thing, you'd be surprise where all that shit can wind up at, even in the most unexpecting places. Besides that a lot of stuff makes me sick, so I'm pretty underweight, but that kinda helps with my fem body if I can just whip it into shape some.
>do you have frizzy hair
Yeah that's been a problem for a long time, it's why I started using a conditioner in the first place because my hair would get straw like and break easily and everytime I comb my hair I yank out tons of hair. It's crazy. I don't understand how women keep their long hair so pretty, I really want to do that.
>fitting shampoos are also probably not a bad touch
Yeah I've been thinking lately I might need different ones, I've used the same two brands for like 10 years now.
Thank you for your help

What's the best femboy drug to stop hair loss as well?
>>
>>8221139
Dutasteride, it's finasteride's big brother and will block more dht in your scalp follicles by blocking almost all 5ar.

But beware the sexual side effects. It nuked my libido when I used it. No sex drive EXCEPT for my agp, but I also still got wet dreams?? So take my experience with a grain of salt.

I quit dutasteride and I'm trying to get a finasteride prescription now but my dermatologist didn't want to prescribe it. I'm going to ask again next visit or else I'll have to resort to dut again.
>>
>>8221199
Hmm, I'm not so worried about sexual side effects honestly, and if anything a low libido will help me stop watching porn so it's sort of a benefit.

Also how does blocking DHT affect the body in other ways?

Thanks.
>>
>>8221104
How long have you had sensitive skin for? One would think you would have visited a skin specialist sooner, no?
Do you take multivitamins or other supplements? Just curious. May be worth a look, but I don't have a whole lot of scientific information to give out on them just yet.
Also curious as to whether do regular exercise or not, but it's not vital for me to know or anything.
>everytime I comb my hair I yank out tons of hair
H-how hard do you brush? Or is the hair so loosely bonded that it pulls out even with the gentlest of brushes?
But yeah, more things to consider with conditioners and hair care in general is the climate you live in. It seems that humidity and wind are the main factors to consider, along with maybe sun exposure if you care about hair color to an obsessive extent.
>I've used the same two brands for like 10 years now.
You use two different shampoos? Any reason for that? And experimenting around with different types (giving it a good 2-3 weeks per change) can yield great results if you put the effort into the research. But there is a lot of (biased) information out there, so I can understand the troubles. Also, some shampoos/conditioners may irritate the skin; I don't know which ones to look out for in that regard though.

Many antiandrogens negatively affect the androgens (mainly DHT) that are thought to cause pattern baldness. So whatever choice you make is likely to do both.
With systems as complex as human body function, there is no best drug. Otherwise there would only be one drug for a given thing, and seeing as there are hundreds of antiandrogenic drugs currently in use out there... One of the most commonly provided drugs for (pattern) hair loss in males in finasteride, though I don't know of the feminization it may or may not cause. Dutasteride isn't typically used for feminization (it's not a prescribed tranny pill), however it seems effective in reducing hair loss. Dutasteride is like finasteride's big brother in that it inhibits types I, II, and III of 5-alpha reductase enzymes (they convert testosterone into DHT) as opposed to finasterides inhibition of types II and III (for an overall circulating DHT reduction effectiveness of ~90% compared to ~70% for finasteride).
What other meds you take also matters, as redundancies and interactions between meds may arise (e.g. redundancy: if you're taking meds that nuke your testosterone, inhibiting your testosterone doesn't do a whole lot at that point; interactions: dutasteride's side effects tend to be boosted or affected when on bicalutamide, though there are few studies to support this [like many drug interactions]). Also these types of meds may be straining on your liver, so be wary of that general rule. Also be wary that dutesteride (for hair loss) is usually around .5mg, as opposed to fina at 1-5mg.
TL;DR: Just take whatever antiandrogens that won't kill you and you'll likely experience less hair loss. Maybe supplement it with fina (1-5mg) or Duta (~.5mg). Also be sure that you're taking more than just an antiandrogen, as that tends to be problematic at higher dosages.
>>8221486
What's the controversy, again? I only just met Dodo, like, a month ago. They seemed alright to me. Hopefully nobody actually got doxxed.
>>
>>8221453
>How long have you had sensitive skin for? One would think you would have visited a skin specialist sooner, no?
Yeah, I've had psoriasis for 12 years or longer now, and I use to see a derma in another city around 5 years ago but at that time I only got some creams and ointments that would stop working every month and I'd have to switch to different ones and they burned like hell. But it's gotten pretty bad lately so I've been gearing up to see a new dermatologist clinic and go all in with everything I can.
>Do you take multivitamins or other supplements?
No, I don't take any vitamins, but however I do drink a special nutrition shake multiple times a day due to my other medial problems and it has a lot of vitamins and other stuff in it, supposedly. I guess that kind of counts, not sure.
>Or is the hair so loosely bonded that it pulls out even with the gentlest of brushes?
Yeah, pretty much like that, I shed a lot, LOT of hair.
>Humidity, sun exposure, wind
I have in a horrible cesspool of humidity.
>You use two different shampoos? Any reason for that?
To be honest, I guess it's just because it's been my routine for so long that I never thought about it, I just replace the bottles a few times a month and I've never thought to try out other brands or experiment. There's always so many that I guess I've just never thought about it. As for why I use two brands, well a few years ago the main brand I use (Head and shoulders) Started to get where it wouldn't clean my hair properly, even after I would wash it it would be greasy and dirty feeling, so I started to do a back to back thing with that brand, plus another called Prell. Most people should know the first, the second looks like green jelly.
Almost forgot
>do you do regular exercise or not?
I don't, really, outside of small morning walks. I'm sort of sickly so I don't do too much.
>>
>>8221557
Thank you
>>
>>8221627
>I only got some creams and ointments that would stop working every month and I'd have to switch to different ones and they burned like hell
Woah, really? Did your body get some tolerance to them or something? That sounds awful. I'm glad you're going to get things checked out though; I wish you the best of luck!
>I guess that kind of counts, not sure.
It's probably better than just taking a single multivitamin, since getting vitamins from food is usually more effective...assuming the shake is made of mostly food and not just crushed up vitamins, I mean.
>I shed a lot, LOT of hair.
This is probably something to look into (likely with a dermatologist). While shedding is natural even for the healthiest hair, shedding a lot for more than a couple weeks is likely cause for some alarm.
>I have in a horrible cesspool of humidity.
I feel for you. Though at least it's super windy here, so it's...slightly more manageable, in a different way.
>the main brand I use (Head and shoulders) Started to get where it wouldn't clean my hair properly
Just out of the blue? Interesting... Could be a few things, but I'd need more information to be more certain, not that it's of particular importance right now anyway.
>I don't, really, outside of small morning walks.
That's understandable, was just curious. I'd ask more but I'm not fond of prying or annoying, even if it's only a chance of doing either.
Also I'll be gone for a while after this post, in case it matters.
>>
>>8221827
>Did your body get some tolerance to them
Yes, that tends to happen sadly with psoriasis, so it's why sometimes you have to switch up every couple months and then switch back between ointments. But actually some of them have steroids in them which can cause issues.
>Shedding a lot more than a couple weeks is likely cause for some alarm
Yeah that's what I think too.
>Just out of the blue
Yeah, again I'm not really sure why.
>I'd ask more but I'm not fond of prying
That's okay anon, I like to answer questions and mostly tell anyone anything they want to know if their nice.

Femboy is in my group of friends.
Voice never dropped.
Slim and cute face and eyes.
He never even shows interest in girls.
I am certain if he lived in a place where he were exposed to different sexualities he would be curious but since he not I bet even someone who seems so incredibly queer as him would react disgusted if I approached him.

Just start transitioning and you'll get a general idea of what it's like being a femboy, it's literally the exact same as being a regular boy except you look prettier. >most stylists here are poor white girls from the country who are still very homophobic/transphobic.

Tfw my hair stylist is Asian and is super nice about me wanting my hair in a more feminine style. I'm from Texas and I get along pretty nicely for a femboi (trans in denial) in the south. I'm even getting on HRT soon and I'm super excited.

Just shop around for more stylists and you should eventually find one with a nice personality that works for you. Unless if your area is really as trashy as you say it is. In that case just say fuck it and push onward I guess. I doubt a transphobic hair stylist is really going to harm you. They still have a job to do.

If you are young enough, like under 20 your hip bones might actually expand. Above that is a gamble if it'll have that affect. Otherwise hormones do redistribute your new body fat to a more female pattern, so it'll go to your thighs and butt.

>The active component of that plant is icariin. It inhibits PDE5, which is the same mechanism of action of most erectile dysfunction (ED) drugs. This is an effect upon the blood vessels, not upon the brain, so it cannot treat loss of sex drive itself, which is the effect that antianndrogens can potentially have. A femboy with primary erectile dysfunction (which eould not be caused by an antiandrogen) would be better off taking a normal ED drug. The icariin also stimulates osteoblast activity via some mechanism, which can help with osteoporosis. Raloxifene would do that more effectively while also fixing the other issues that (essentially) having no sex hormones can cause.

It is perfectly healthy.
>>8229760
There is a low chance of adverse liver effects unless you are an idiot using cyproterone acetate. In any case, a comprehensive metabolic panel will detect any potential liver effects long before actual damage results, this is why it is important to see a doctor, or at the very least get a blood test done on your own.

Maybe hit the gym instead of the pharmacy. Or go to /mtfg/.

>I still don't understand what this general is.
It's a place for males who are or want to be feminine or androgynous.
>Why are so many people talking about hormones?
Because that an effective way for a male to attain a more feminine appearance.
>Do non-transitioning people really take hormones? That can't be healthy.
It's no different from a trans person taking them.
>>
>>8230372
Hitting the gym will not fix the femboy issues. Also, we continue to identify as male, so we are not MtF.
>>8230356
For the combination of bicalutamide and raloxifene itself, we know it is safe from prostate cancer patients. In addition, there is no reason why it would not be safe in the young, femboy population as well. Bicalutamide does not usually create problems that estrogens cannot fix, and raloxifene is estrogenic in the areas needed to fix any problems from bicalutamide, while not developing breasts.

I have a question about shaving techniques
How do you fem anons shave and what are the best ways to do it? I'm not asking for laser advice or other hair removal, just strictly shaving with razors and shaving cream.
I've been doing my whole body once a week for quite a while now and it's just an awful chore to do every week and I'm not even sure if I'm doing it right.
Is there certain razors or cream that helps?
I am thinking of other hair removal since

>five o'clock shadow and already growing back the next day
>get mad and give up
These are my razors I use.

What this guy said. Be sure to put veet on certain places w different sensitivities first. When I did it first, I burnt the shit out of my armpits and it hurt forever. The second it kind of hurt my penis. Also, to groom don't be afraid to put tape over the part you want to keep. It's also normal to have to shave off some of the dead hair that's still on you. It doesn't make it any less dead and you probs won't get razor burn
>>8232647

I use those expensive 4-5 blade razors. I've pretty much given up on trying to keep my whole body hairless and now only shave once a week (both beard and body). It's just impossible to keep that perfect look, I'm hoping when I start mones that it will slow body hair and beard hair growth down but that's in the future.
I always shave with the grain, and although it won't make me look as smooth and the hair will grow back faster it's better than going against the grain and have razor burn everywhere. Make sure to sit in warm water for a bit to open up the pores and use shaving cream everywhere. That's about all I do and it works pretty well.

Jesus, no. Women can do this because their hair is finer and grows slower. As a guy, you'll spend half of your life between shaving and uncomfortable ugly stubble.
I would highly recommend just shaving your face every morning (your 5 o'clock shadow likely isn't noticeable outside of bathroom lighting) and only shaving your body when you think it's going to matter.
Alternately, start waxing or using hair removal cream, depending on how sensitive your skin is.

Learn to cut it yourself. Take some time to really know what you want from pictures, then watch some YouTube tuts for techniques (using hairdressing scissors), then try them... carefully, until you get good ^^.

Advice to start is to look into layers, and how to cut a fringe/bangs.

Biggest tip is to always cut less than you think. You can trim more if needed, but you can't put it back on ^^

The shaved hair will grow for 1-2 weeks, then start falling out and getting patchy until all the lasered hair falls out. You'll be hairless for another ~3 weeks or so until new hairs start to grow. These new hairs may or may not be thinner but expect less over a longer period of time and multiple treatment.

A femboy would be at a higher risk for that while on an antiandrogen. Of course, they would not have that risk if they did not take the antiandrogen in the first place. I recall it being the case that the sum total of all the effects of normal MtF cross-sex HRT increases lifespan, much how biological females not on cross-sex HRT have a longer lifespan than biological males not on cross-sex HRT. So then there is the issue of determining if the same holds true for bicalutamide and raloxifene. Of course, this combination would decrease your risk of breast cancer and prostate cancer, while normal MtF HRT decrease your risk of prostate cancer as well while increasing your chances of breast cancer. I will attempt to search through the research literature to determine it. There would not exist data specifically on the femboy case, these drugs have not even existed longer enough to measure the end result upon lifespan with a femboy starting it at 18, but reasonable inferences could likely be made from other data, to require data until the data for this exact type of case in particular on these exact drugs would be applying a much more strict standard of evidence than it typically used in medicine.

Anyway, I would like to thank you for continuing to debate this with me, it is not often that I have someone else with enough knowledge to actually debate stuff like this with me in this thread.

Does anyone else in /femgen/ have experience getting off hormones? I was on them for 6 months, but I stopped using them a few months ago because I figured it would be best to wait until I move out for college since it was getting hard to hide. Since then I've noticed that I feel very numb to emotion, get bad body odor that I've never had before, and I just feel shittier in general. Did I fuck my body over? I figured it would self correct after awhile, but this is making me think about how seriously dependent we might be making ourselves on these pills.

>seriously trans we might be making ourselves on these pills.

Taking HRT is not an aesthetic choice, it has strong effect on you mentally more than anything so it should be a fairly decisive choice. Have you bloods done? Your body probably doesn't produce enough testosterone anymore and the human body needs normal levels of one sex hormone in order to function properly...
>>
>>8248988
It might correct itself over time but were you really not prepared for an eventuality that you might hinder your bodies testosterone production?
>>
>>8248988
What drugs were you taking? Have you gotten a blood test?

I understand the permanance of taking them but I guess I underestimated how well your body can fix itself. Also, I wouldn't have thought that getting off them would put you in a worse state than before you started them, making me wonder what happens if you stop taking them 20 years down the line.

>>
>>8249668
That is for bicalutamide and raloxifene. The drugs that >>8249132 was taking block the production of testosterone, so it would indeed go down. Some user has stated before that estrogen can start to have a more long-lasting effect after a while. A blood test could be used to see if this is the case. If it is so, then you would either have to take estrogen, testosterone, or a SERM then to avoid the adverse effects of no sex hormones, if a blood test were to show that. If you take a SERM, then 60 mg/day of raloxifene would be the best, although a SERM would possibly get rid of the breasts that you already have, I do not know how they would impact potential future breast development.

nair is shitty.
Just make your own sugar wax, or buy an epilator.

>>
>>8254780
Nair just makes a mess and leaves a ton of stubble.
At least if you epilate it grows thinner over time as well since it damages the hair follicle. Even if it doesn't result in a permanent removal it at least makes the hair softer and less noticeable.

Good morning all you cite little femboys. I live north of the GTA in Ontario canada approx 50 min. I have some girl clothes from when I used to trap.
I don't see myself wearing anything more than the loose t shirts and panties but can't bring myself to trash bag the clothes when they could make someone else cute too.

I'm just leaving this here to check back when I get home so I'll list what I have to offer so people aren't stuck waiting. All clothes are S/M size
1 A cup bra (grey with pink trim)
1 teal bikini top and bottom set
2 dresses, one black the other a black red with sewn on buttons and a floral pattern.
3 outfits;
Red riding hood: hood, dress, sash thing
Darque school girl; Google it, it's not hard to find.
Maid outfit; dress, white sash/apron thing, the what is it... doily?

>>
>>8256276
I've met enough IRL to know that there are some that are repressing MtFs but they're in the minority, most are genuinely just cute neotenous flamers with no desire to transition past taking T-blockers

now, if you wanna make the argument that being a femboy is a subsection of the non-binary umbrella, then you probably have a decent argument, because the fear of masculinisation almost all those I've met experience can definitely be seen as gender dysphoria- but most of them are equally disgusted and unhappy with the thought of having female traits like boobs or being gendered female, so not MtF

>>
>>8255992
Going to a doctor would be a good idea, an informed consent clinic might have more experience with dealing with nonbinary patients, which you essentially are. The normal way is taking an antiandrogen and an estrogen, you would develop breasts from that. It is possible to have surgery to remove the breast buds before starting cross-sex HRT, then they should not grow at all. Another option is to use an antiandrogen (such as bicalutamide) and then a SERM, selective estrogen receptor modulator, to avoid the adverse effects of (essentially) no sex hormones from the antiandrogen, you would not develop breasts, although feminization elsewhere would be uncertain. Alternating between an estrogen and a SERM is sometimes done, to try to keep breasts at a reasonable amount while trying to have feminization elsewhere.

I'm sure this question gets asked a lot, but what does /femgen/ do about hair removal?
Shaving is right out with coarse, thick, fast-growing guy hair.
I'm using a depilatory cream right now which is fine (thanks to my tough-as-nails skin) and mostly effective, but it doesn't seem practical or safe for full-body usage.
I've considered waxing, but I can't decide between hot/cold/hard varieties, or if it's a particularly smart idea to wax your balls. I could go get it done somewhere, but I have neither the money or confidence for that.

What do? It's hard to feel cute with a fucking jungle down there.

I haven't studied biochemistry. Skimming Wikipedia, it looks like glucocorticoids stimulate the appetite and cause fat deposits in the abdomen, so I guess antiglucocorticoids would decrease appetite and fat deposits in the abdomen. Is that correct?
>>
>>8264279
Sexual dimorphism in basal metabolic rate is entirely due to differences in non-fat mass and fat mass. If those are the same, then sex is irrelevant to basal metabolic rate. So, the issue of how bicalutamide and raloxifene is reducible to the issue of how they effect the total amount of non-fat mass and fat mass.

For reference, while the article does say that T4 levels can impact basal metabolic rate, that does not vary by sex, except for the fact that pregnancy can impact values, so the only mechanism by which cross-sex HRT can effect basal metabolic rate is via effect non-fat and fat mass.
>>
>>8265629
And there are some other issues.
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/26503109/?i=1&from=bicalutamide%20AND%20fat
In that study of ADT in Japanese prostate cancer patients, blood tests of lipid and glucose metabolism changed significantly. What we are looking at here, the change in fat mass, was a significant increase. Of course, the fact that the study was looking at patients on antigonadotropics is a severe limitation, as they would not have the antiglucocorticoid from testosterone that we still have, only being on a low dose of bicalutamide. In addition, we know that taking raloxifene would improve lipid profile, and the study did not look at raloxifene, so it is possible that raloxifene would impact fat mass as well. I will try looking back at the studies of bicalutamide and raloxifene at the same time, to see how that effects fat.
>>
>>8265678
The study on using bicalutamide and raloxifene at the same time in prostate cancer patients does not metion fat, but it references another study that might have useful information here.
>>
>>8265916
Bicalutamide alone does increase fat mass, but not as much as antigonadotropics: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/15226323/?i=11&from=bicalutamide%20AND%20fat
>>
>>8265952
Bicalutamide has similar effects to antigonadotropics on fat-free mass: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/15126801/?i=12&from=bicalutamide%20AND%20fat
>>
>>8265965
In postmenopausal females, raloxifene improved lipid profile and significantly decrease fat mass compared to the control group.

However, there was something else in the study that might be of interest to femboys:
>These results [...] suggest [...] that RLX [raloxifene] promotes the shift from android [male-typical] to gynoid [female-typical] fat distribution
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/16218045/?i=11&from=raloxifene%20AND%20fat&sort=[relevance]
>>
>>8266013
In postmenopausal females, raloxifene increased fat-free mass:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/m/pubmed/19884264/
>>
>>8266013
Please note, the change was specifically in the trunk and abdominal area, overall there is no change seen in fat mass in postmenopausal females on raloxifene, as seen in >>8266013 and >>8266029.
>>
In >>8266029 fat-free mass increased by 1.9% in postmenopausal females taking raloxifene. In >>8265965 fat-free mass decreased by 1.56% in prostate cancer patients taking bicalutamide. That would seem to indicate that the two should approximately counter each other out to no net effect upon fat-free mass. Of course, they are two separate patient populations, but this should be approximately the case.
>>
>>8263437
nice rafs and cps my guy
>>
>>8265952
Increase in fat mass in bicalutamide was 6.4%, compared to 30% in a normal MtF case:
