Good edition.

God, I want to get my own dog. When will my life begin
>>
i already reported in today for you knuckleheads but because SOMEBODY felt they needed a NEW EDITION cisbro checking in ama or yell at me whatever

tip of the day is get your burgers well done- steak you can get damn near raw, the surface is the only place liable to have bacteria. hamburger meat is entirely surface, it needs to be entirely sanitized

tell me about your days
>>
>>7914475
What's with your ftm fetish?
>>
>>7914475
I'll get my burgers medium until the day I die bitch, hasn't killed me yet.

I'm heading off to sleep soon for work tonight. Got about a foot to a foot n a half of snow to look forward to. I've been drinking tons of water lately and I think it's enhanced muscle growth as well as generally making me look healthier. Only downside is I can't be pissing 6 times a night at work.

How's your day going dude
>>
>>7914501
you're gonna get burger aids and I won't even feel sorry for your dumb ass
hvacfag. work was easier than normal but it was skull-numbingly dumb corrections on basic stuff that the roofers said they'd do but they didn't because they never do I hate roofers REEEEE
water in general is good. I started using a growler on account of having four. I usually down half of it right after work.
you work inside?

>>7914500
you read me all wrong. im an advice fetishist. offering solid, grounded counsel to genuinely help with their problems gets me rock hard.
>>
>>7914557
Yeah I work freight at Home Depot. Pays okay and I get a solid 40 hours in. Why do you hate roofers? I've done some roofing in my day actually. I do notice that they tend to hsve shitty personalities, roofers, but I think that has more to do with being ignorant and working a dangerous job. It'd ruin anyone's natural good side.
>>
Replying here too.

>>7914242
Your doc sounds like a retard, I had no problems. If anything during this month my muscles got harder and "rounder".
>>
>>7914643
I'm just gonna keep lifting until something gets fucked up then. I'm a few days short of a month on T now but my dose is going to get doubled (currently 1ml/2 weeks) in April. I'm really going for it guys, I even quit drinking which is huge.
>>
>>7914725
Don't overwork your muscles too much, I've seen (cis) guys get stretch marks on their shoulders/arms from building muscle too quickly.

>I wish cis people would stay out desu
why?

1. They always feel the need to bring up their dicks somehow (Yep, I'm bitter.)
2. Constant comments about how they want to fuck/date a cute little boy.
3. They think we need to hear advice from them. I don't. I don't need a manual to be a man. I find that condescending.

Basically I don't feel a can share the pain I'm in because of voyeurs who don't really sympathize or care
>>
>>7915867
I'm pretty much asexual. I'm not sure how much of it is just me being ace and how much is me having zero interest in using my genitals in any kind of sex with another person, but I've made peace with it.

Nah, I want to snog with a real man. Physicality of trans people isn't what's really attractive to me. I think it's more about what their experiences in life made them and how a lot of trans people have similar perspectives on life that are pretty interesting and captivating.

I dunno, if that's condescending to you so be it. But I can't help myself.

Yes this is literally a thing all men do for their entire lives. Easy way to sense someone who lacks confidence in a group is making sensitive jokes and seeing sensitive and overactive results from people. Aka simple pecking order teasing shit
>fuck date cute boy
so what? That's how humans act, they see something they like, and they start to either obsess or achieve it(sometimes both).
it's everywhere on everyboard, in every culture. Hidden or open, people talk about who they want to fuck.
>do not need advice
actually in all reality you would most likely need some, like every man while growing up. Accepting other (specifically elder and or more experienced in the subject) mens thoughts and opinions help you become more of a man growing up. Even as an adult male its simple humility and respect that allows us to take advice with consideration. Even if we dislike or disagree with the information given, its the respect that men give to each other that help build up a "man"

if the people tell me to fuck off I will. every time i post I get people asking me honest questions and I try to help

1. no
2. im straight
3. it is genuinely possible that you can live the rest of your life an island, without requiring advice. if you are, in fact, one of those people, then you're one in thousands, or tens of thousands. the vast majority of people who infest this earth require the constant input of knowledge from their peers during their formative years to end up functioning adults. if you can fully operate without a manual, then you've not only done better than me, you've done better than any man in general, because all the best of them have one thing in common: they're constantly learning from their mistakes, those who found success in the past, and from their peers.

if you are that guy, I need you to teach me how you did it.

>>7914594

From what I've experienced, going through with transition requires people to develop certain assets and attributes that cis people usually don't need to develop. If you were to ask me for a list of these assets and attributes then I can't really say I can provide one. It's more of an overarching vibe I get from all the trans people I've talked to. (specifically one mtf that I had a pretty steady friendship with until a couple months ago).

And whatever these personal traits are that I can't find the right words for, I find them endearing and captivating.

Does that explain it?
>>
>>7916597
>If you were to ask me for a list of these assets and attributes then I can't really say I can provide one.
that's what i wanted, but 'overarching vibe' is something.
>>
>>7916643
Some things I can name would be introspection, and I feel like Trans people all have a healthy sense of needing to prove themselves. Like, a lot of them try a surprising amount to keep themselves healthy and clean. Even if some fall into bad habits like drugs to cope with the mental stress of transitioning, Trans people are some of the most tidy people I've met.

Another thing would be that they're sexually open and surprisingly confident if you make it clear you have no problem with them being Trans or into weird stuff. They're usually really sure and open about their kinks.

I think one of the things I like most though is that Trans people are "edgy", for the lack of a better word. They have edges and corners. They're not flawless, human beings who can't admit that they make mistakes or can be wrong. They all have stories to tell.

There's definitely more that I'd need time to really put my finger on, but those are some things I can pinpoint off the top of my noggin.
>>
>>7916692
very interesting. those all make sense but i didn't know they were so universal or evident to others.

5.5 in mens here. I buy kid's shoes typically. I think your feet/hands are only gonna lead to you being clocked if someone's really looking for signs of you being trans already.

How tall are you? If you're like 5'5" or below a 7.5 shoe size will be pretty middle of the road as far as I'm aware.

Cisbro is okay. The "big bro" pushiness is... a bit much for me sometimes though. As a dude in his mid 30s, getting talked down to can piss me off... and sometimes the advice feels so, "no shit, Sherlock" that I feel like we are being treated like idiots.

Sort of like how "big bro" types talk to women at an auto shop.

Yeah. I can't have sex either. If I'm gonna kill myself one day, it's probably going to because of genital dysphoria. I can't have anything up there, I've never even used tampons. I can't afford a good packer (let alone one you could have sex with) to help me and the surgery is far away at this point. I haven't even had much growth downstairs and I'm almost a year on testosterone. Not that having a T dick would solve all my problems - looking at photos of ftm genitalia I sometimes get dysphoric to the point of sickness. I mostly just try to forget that I have any genitals at all.

>>
>>7918763
You realize trannies are mostly socialized as their birth gender right? That's what she means by "20 years of experience". The fact they were trans all along doesn't change societal expectations and experiences they made as male\female. All of us saw both sides, more or less so.
>>

Don't be hyper sensitive, not every occurance of a gender neutral pronoun is a jab at someone.

I just get tired of the "War and Peace" length posts about H. Brooklyn can do whatever the hell he wants, but when he is active the thread it can feel more like /withdrawl and birds general unabridged/

Shaving advice and a reminder to replace my "go bag" in the trunk is more of a contribution than that, and I will admit that having a junky shit on another anon's genuine questions about psychiatric meds because "they made him [Brooklyn] worse" when he was 85% likely to have been also on who knows what concoction of street drugs without informing his prescribing doctor did more than a little to sour my opinion last thread. That sort of contribution is potentially dangerous, esp without context of who is giving advice.
>>
>>7918771

you realize that what i mean by that is that most transchicks don't properly fit in, people sense something off about them typically and they don't get the full male experience...

i couldn't tell a transchick how to be a woman, chicks never treated me the way they did each other... i never had that interaction, so i don't know it the way they'd wanna hear it...

you're forgetting that sometimes people can't hide who they are, other people pick up on it and treat them accordingly... so when i say that i'm talking about that shit
>>

>>
>>7918776
You're an early transitioner? I was raised without expectations to conform to either gender and I've been on blockers for years, don't know if that means early transitioning. Maybe socially, cause I've been presenting as male for almost a decade, but considering where I live I'm lucky enough to have ever received blockers in the first place. There's a lot of gatekeeping for hormones though.

Get your panties out of a twist. I'm the one he was advising and he did tell me to not see his advise as an alternative to psych help, but as a stand-alone thing.

Why can't we have both advice and weird personalities in this general? We need both bones and meat to make a body you know.
>>
>>7918794
A lot of people don't fit in for many reasons, but let's be honest, the majority of people might at best sense you're a weird autist, nobody has the tranny radar on point. Some have different interactions cause they come off as uncanny or not easy to interact with, and it's not just part of the trans package. Unless you tell them or make an effort to present nobody's going to pick up on your trans-ness unless they're a psychiatric professional. Just saying a transman\transwoman will have had some life experiences as their birth gender no matter what.

i told them to consider taking antidepressants actually... and to talk to their therapist

i did share my experience with them yeah, but i also said that my experience wasn't likely to be theirs so i wasn't trying to discourage them... i told them about meditation as well, but i wasn't the person telling them to avoid meds entirely...

my drug history has nothing to do with that...

>>7918802

nah, just an observation based on the way i've seen gay/trans people get treated by their peers...
>>
>>7918802
He's right though. I've never been treated like a girl by cis girls. Transpeople are not the same as cis, and people tend to notice.
>>
>>7918824

i'm not autistic, and people have just told me they know i'm trans or asked if i was... i've never been able to hide being trans or being bi from people, they always know

of course they have some experiences, but they don't always have 100% typical experiences...
>>
Just bc you didn't fit in with chicks that doesn't mean you were treated MOSTLY like one for you're entirely life up until you started to transition.

You all make it seem like being trans is a social development disorder
>>
>>7918836
How many people don't have 100% typical experiences for a fuck load of different reasons aside from being trans? It's not an exclusive. People are treated differently for a variety of reasons, being socially inept, being uncomfortable to hang out with, being mentally challenged, you name it. You'd learn more from a cis person, but in a mtf\ftm relationship there's advice to be taken from both sides regarding socialization. Consider a lot of people also repress or try hard to fit in anyway. You're not the only example of a tranny, a lot of people do hide it and go extreme masculine\feminine to repress.
>>
>>7918862

who said i was the only example? i've also seen it with other people... i'm saying being trans is something you can just tell with some people and as a result they get treated different by their cis peers...

assuming someone trans can tell you how to behave like someone cis is sometimes nonsensical is all i'm saying
>>
>>7918828
>i told them to consider taking antidepressants actually... and to talk to their therapist

After you got chewed out, B. Your intial advice was "drugs are bad, just meditate" which changed or was clarified after several rambled down the path of elipsis. I for one have lost people to suicide because of that shit advice. So it irks me.

Do I advocate a "Fuck off, Brooklyn" because I strongly disagree and ... bleh... find that outlook "triggering"? No. B can do/say whatever and get called on it.

The thing that go me going on this was coddling a case of "bawwww, cis guy with a dick i r triggered" when 4chan is not your fucking "safe space", ya puss. Go to an ftm invite-only discord if the existance of a cisguy and his dick bothers you so much. Policing an open forum is bull shit... and driving a cisguy ally off because he is mistaken for a different cisguy who is a chader will just make this thread more of an echo chamber than it already is.

Very few posters have had top surgery, fewer still have had bottom, if generous maybe 75% are on T... but probably less.

Many are just starting out, and an older guy, even a Chad, who can/will anwer questions while at least trying to be respectful is useful.

Don't toss out a resource because someone can't handle the internet.
>>
>>7918850

not saying it's a disorder in that sense, just pointing out that it can affect a person's experience...
>>
>>7918889
If we go by anecdotal experiences then I know trans people who were socialized male\female up until they came out or started transitioning on their own, and surely enough they'll know more about being male\female than a person who was born the opposite gender and lived as such for at least their entire childhood. It's still something to be learned. It's not about learning how to be cis, it's about insight on experiences made in one's lifetime. That anon said "teach me how to be a girl", and you might not be able to teach her all things girly, and she's learn more from a cis female, but a ftm is better at teaching some of that than another mtf if you get my meaning.
>>
>>7918912

why don't you go back and read the thread? there was someone else telling them the meditation thing, not just me... i wasn't the one who got "chewed out" for that, cuz i wasn't the one who said it... so that "shit advice" didn't come from me, you're just putting shit on me that i never said...

idk why you're going on about the cis guy, i didn't even involve myself in that conversation... i was brought up, but people discussing me isn't the same as me being part of a discussion...
>>

Ever get to the vibration state? I guess it's when you know you're getting deep inside it, you start to feel weird vibrations. I haven't hit it or anything, my discipline isn't that great yet.

I'm a meditation fag too, although I've gotten more lately out of thought free awareness. It's when you stop thinking and just observe the moment of time/ place you're occupying.

The sense of self, who we are, is built during times when we don't have technology, media, or people around. Thought free awareness is cool because it helps you look at things with new eyes and can bring that spark of life back to our routines.

Instead of escaping with a phone or whatever, really immersing yourself in the moment you're living in. I know it sounds fucking gay but I've made far more peace with my general existence though this than anything. You start doing it for longer and longer and you find that often in life you're just hung up on all different types of shit and operating on auto pilot. The auto pilot doesn't go away when you stop thinking of shit, you just gain this moment of serenity.

when meditating, don't try to stop thinking, this will come naturally. after doing acid, this has become a /lot/ easier. Every time I meditate it feels like I am a floating bodyless brain. Then again, I do meditate quite frequently. I find if you set up a time to meditate every day, reaching the "vibration state" is a shit ton easier.

Mm I've dropped acid quite a few times myself, it always works well as a "hard reset" if my life starts getting fucked up (or feeling fucked up)

I don't have to intentionally think about not thinking when I meditate, thought free awareness is slightly different shit, I just find that I have trouble incorporating it into my routine. Or I try doing it before I sleep and end up falling asleep, that type of deal.

Fish oil is really hard to get significant amounts of without eating fish all the time, which comes with the danger of ingesting a shitload of mercury, which the body can't flush easily. I'm pretty aware of nutrition and shit, currently putting together a lifting diet so I can eat maybe 160g of protein a day (no way I can actually hit 2g/lb of bodyweight, I weigh 125 currently so meeting in the middle) without having to worry about auxiliary things like vitamins and minerals or digestive issues.

i've had 2 friends read my palm before, but idk all the details about it...

how do sigils work exactly?

>>7919429

i've felt the vibration thing yeah, but what stands out the most is that...

you ever hit the point where it feels like you're going through a tunnel, then past the stars into just absolute nothingness? you feel open, and like nothing and everything is there at once, and there's this euphoric sensation like everything is fine... you can feel everything and everyone, you're connected and there's just peace

had a weird experience the one time i got clear visuals...

i do the other shit all the time, the awareness thing... it's how i get through every day actually... i just focus on what's happening in any given moment and then everything can be fine most of the time... unless something shitty is currently happening... i slip up occasionally with it, but most days i've got it down

that shit helped me deal with extreme suicidal depression so it doesn't sound gay at all to me...

>>7919448

i don't feel the brain thing... it's more like dissolving into everything and everything dissolving into me... there's no me, but there's peace and euphoria

heres a basic run through of how I make my sigils
write out what it is you're trying to achieve as though you already did it/have it (example: "I have a nice electric guitar"), cross out all vowels and repeating letters ("HV NC LTR G") cast a circle and write the letters together, I made a magic alphabet for sigils long ago that I still use.

i don't know a lot of the wording or formal shit when it comes to this kinda shit... i haven't really studied it and what i do know mostly came from 2 different chicks...

>>
>>7919572
Huh, we /x/ now I guess. I'm far too much of a skeptic for the whole magic thing, although I do understand how completing a series of actions while focusing on a goal could help with putting mental energy toward achieving it. Or at least keeping it in mind.

I've always found tarot cards to be cool, but astrology is a load as far as I'm concerned.
>>
>>7919846

i'm agnostic about everything personally... but i've had some interesting experiences, and trying to sort them out has led me to studying this kinda shit

personally i prefer buddhist philosophy, but it doesn't work for everything...

astrology is a lot more complicated than i would've guessed... my ex was really into it, she thought it was important when it came to some shit i'm not explaining...

anyway i've checked it out since then cuz of that shit + some guy was talking about it in here and i told him i've only ever known chicks who were into it... and then i thought about those chicks and how easy they are... and that was the motivating factor really

but there's an insane amount of detail in those fucking charts...

i'd be impressed if someone could ever guess my sign or some shit though... no one ever gets that shit right, even people who really believe in it
>>
>>7919966
You're either a leo or a virgo
>>
>>7919966
I'm convinced that astrology became popular because it was a way for people to go "our signs are compatible!" which got your foot in the door if you were around the right person. Now that it's fallen out of favor with normies I see no reason to brush up.

>why aren't there as many transmen as transwomen?
the ratio used to be skewed in favour of women (male) to a bizarre degree, but it is now roughly equal between them and men (female)
in fact, <18 it's about 3:1 ftm:mtf
>is it because it's hard to fetishize being a man?
there are a whole lot of aaps, but 'aap transition used to be much rarer' is my running theory for why the ratio used to be mtf-skewed, especially given it simultaneously used to be thought that androphilic trans men are an urban legend

I did the same, actually. I also used to be insanely jealous of my brother too because he could still run around shirtless by that age but I was no longer allowed to once I began to grow breasts. So instead, I opted to at least not wear a bra because denial is a bitch when you're a child.

Even as an adult, I would try to get a slight relief from dysphoria just feeling my shirt against my back with nothing else there. But then I started binding and that changed quite a bit.

What about them? Even cis guys have nipples. Unless they're freakishly huge I don't see the issue.
>>
>>7923314
Maybe because it's easier for ftms to pass than mtfs? Usually ftms and more twinkish cis guys look about the same. But mtfs don't look anything like dykes or normal women. Which makes mtfs easier to spot when out in public.
>>
>>7923511
not the ratio of people who look trans in public, the ratio of people who present for treatment/get hrt/get surgery
it used to be mtf-skewed and getting more equal the younger you are, now it's equal and getting more ftm-skewed the younger you are

Maybe Idk what to look for then. I get that the population in general, passing or not, is fairly equal. But I know I can spot an obvious trans girl from across a room easier than a trans guy.

As far as media attention goes though, I think mtf have more in the celebrity ranks than we do. All we have is Chaz Bono, Buck Angel, and that Elliot guy who has the acting talent of a wet sponge.

the stat for underages is pretty legit, it was from a study in a major toronto gender clinic
the nonbinary funsies-ers usually identify as...nonbinary, and 35% of so-called trans people are 'nonbinary' according to the us transgender survey 2015, but they also came up with roughly-equal numbers for mtf and ftm

He goes by Elliot in every role he's in and always plays a trans character and his story arcs always revolved around him being trans.

I was on my three-month-checkup the other day and was told that apparently I've access to a speech therapist should I so wish. my voice has dropped a bit, and I'm not sure how much deeper it'll go. While I'd love for it to go deeper, I've been focusing more on the way I speak because that's something I've more control over... I like to think I don't have the Aiden-voice, but judging yourself is hard.

TL;DR:
Rate my voice, tell me for how long your voice kept dropping, do I need/could use a speech therapist? Money is not an issue because socialist country. I've also considered joining a choir (there's a strong choir tradition in my city + family)

>>7924581

it's hard to tell entirely when someone's reading... your tone of voice is fine, but i can't tell what you sound like really speaking
>>
>>7924581
It sounds fine - better than mine did at three months, although like the other anon said the speech pattern you have when reading is usually pretty different from speaking. It might be worth one or two visits to the speech therapist just so you have a bit more confidence when speaking.

Almost every ftm i see who's had any kind of top surgery has weird nipples. I saw examples from all the surgeons in my state of Michigan who do these procedures and they all are iffy at best with nipples. I'm angry because i finally have the money and can take the time off but I'm sooo fuckin nipple picky.

One surgeon does not require a letter of approval though and he's the closest to me, so he might be the one. I'm eligible for keyhole but every surgeon says double incision with nipple graft will result in the flattest chest, complete breast tissue removal, and smallest nips. Idgaf about the scars.

Also some surgeons don't use fluid release tubes, is that a red flag?

experiment with lowkey buttstuff (together or him by himself whichever he finds more comfortable) like fingering and small toys to get a feel for how sensitive he is and how douching/being clean works

for sex you'll find out by experience if he prefers getting stretched out a bit first or taking the donger asap but generally the first time you're inserting it during the sex session insert it a little bit, hold, keep doing that a bit in and out and then start pushing properly

if you encounter a little fleck of shit it's not the end of the world but for cleanup reasons you might prefer to use a condom. i prefer black ones for this reason and because i think it's sexy. like any sex act the key is communication and being able to read his responses. you'll get better with practice

I had a few years of serious repression because of self-doubt. Also had a fondness for makeup and dressing up as well. Ended up realizing that I liked it for crazy Goth and costuming/SFX shit (and acne hiding wizardry), and that making myself look like a normie woman everyday just led to dysphoria and misery.

I think the transformational power of make-up and costuming also made the hobby really attractive to me as a trans guy. The ability to radically change the perception of my face/body through visual hacks gave me a lot of hope that I could be more than the sad meatsack I saw myself as.
>>
>>7931041

it doesn't prevent me from getting laid or directly cause dysphoria so i can live with it... besides i've been the same height since i was like 11 so i'm used to it

>>7931158
Yeah, absolutely. I've always been ridiculously uncomfortable with having a vagina, to the point where I can't even have sex unless I drug myself prior. I can't touch it or put things up there because it freaks me the fuck out. Putting a tampon in there feels about as comfortable as putting a tampon in my fucking eye socket. I also get really grossed out and uncomfortable when people draw attention to my "femaleness" or use female language to describe me, like being called a fucking restaurant "hostess" instead of "host".
But idk when I'm by myself and I can do girly shit on my own terms its ok. I collect vintage clothing and I'll like wear dresses for fun but it's more of a costume/fashion thing just for the look than like "who I really am" or whatever. Idk. Reading this over I do kinda sound like a fakeboi

I publicly rejected feminine things as a child because I recognized very early on that playing with barbies/my little ponies/liking pink/whathave you made a big difference in how adults treated you, and I refused to accept the dolls I got as gifts from family. Still, I did play with MLP dolls with a friend of mine and enjoyed it tremendously, but denied it to my parents.

There's nothing wrong with liking femininity, just analyze how you enjoy it and why. I have a friend who grew up being the tomboy, and still refuse to wear dresses if she can get away with it because she don't want to deal with the "aw, you're so pretty in dresses why don't you wear them more often?"

I don't think that makes you any less trans. I enjoyed wearing dresses and skirts too, in private, and looking "pretty". Haven't done it lately though. Yeah, I think I already have high T cause my periods are light and only last like a day or two so they aren't really a big deal.

As for the language, people always throw dumb gendered words out there like "bad bitch" this or "damn girl" that or whatever lol. My friends don't really do it and I can deal with strangers; what sucks is when I'm stuck at a job where I have to wear the female uniform and get called a fucking hostess or waitress. When I get my degree I'll be out of this hell though.

I don't really know what my next step should be, I guess a doctor's appointment.

How did it change how they treated you? Interesting that it wasn't the toys themselves that you didn't like but the gendered treatment.

I'm 5'1" and it's not that bad. Girls will still be interested in you if you don't act like a betafag.

No way Bruno Mars is actually 165cm, he looks shorter. I'm 165cm and I'd look like a giant next to him.

Don't know if it did. I had an attitude of refusing to be passive and pretty and cute, even if I didn't mind stuff like princess movies in and of itself. If I refused to accept the "pretty princess" treatment, adults seemed more prone to accept that I was a person with actual interests and preferences and not just a walking blob of pink girlygirl. But I also had the luck of parents who didn't mind me rejecting femininity so YMMV.

Today, I indulge in different ways. I'm more secure in myself and in the people who surround me, and I'm good enough with words that I can make it sound ~trutrans~ even when it's on the topic of me occasionally cosplaying female characters.

To be fair, it's very much in contrast to Taylor Swift who's tall as is and is wearing heels in that photo.
The Weeknd is 173, so I assume Bruno has some sort of heel or insole in this photo.

Another hot tip is to become a glamrocker so you can just wear heels 24/7.

It's awful that children get treated like this.

How do you do that?

Isn't that Lady Gaga next to him? She's 155 and I'm going to assume her heels are about 10cm, 15 at max, so he can't be 165.

"I don't mind cosplaying female characters, because it's so obviously a role I put on, it's not me I see or intend to see when I look in the mirror. Their femininity isn't who I am and I only portray them, in a way that can be likened to an act. Femininity never came naturally to me so it can even be seen as a craft of performing femininity."

And yeah, it's fucked up. Again, adults would get up in arms whenever I did the slightest feminine thing like I was finally fulfilling my destiny instead of dicking around, and that wasn't exactly helping me wanting nothing to do with it.

I still like a lot of traditionally feminine things, part of the reason I decided to start transitioning was so I could feel more comfortable in liking feminine things or feminine ways of presenting without getting shit about not being trans enough. I come from a tradition of alternative fashion, and adrogyny is key.

Look again, he's definitely wearing some pretty significant heels, not that much shorter than the models' (just chunkier). I'd guess maybe 5cm? making him 170, which seems reasonable if The Weeknd is 173 and wearing flats. Which would make Lady gaga something like 175? Wearing platform heels, maybe? I agree that it seems like a lot but assuming that two of the measurements we've got is correct is more logical than assuming that only one is.

Wikipedia says Lady Gaga is like 155cm tall and I don't see any particular reason why she'd want to lie about her height. In comparison with the other models it doesn't quite add up though.

It's more than fucked up, it's self-defeating, since trying to push you into gender-conforming things only turned you off them! So even by the view that pushing conformity comes ahead of letting kids be free, that treatment isn't right.

>part of the reason I decided to start transitioning was so I could feel more comfortable in liking feminine things or feminine ways of presenting without getting shit about not being trans enough.
It's unfortunate that social issues like that are a factor in transitioning.

This is like an optical illusion, it's fucking with me.
He doesn't look so short in the third pic considering Taylor is 5'10 and wearing heels so what's up with the first two? Did she take off her shoes?

Judging by how the audience looks in both the first pictures, compared to the third picture, it might be a matter of a weird optical illusion thing from the focal length of the lens (the faces in the audience in the first photo look about the same size as Taylors despite obviously being several rows and many meters behind her). As in despite standing a bit behind him having a very narrow lens will compress foreground and background, making her look taller since she's not compressed by perspective, leading to some serious height shenanigains.
Third picture is also obviously posed for, so chances are he's on his toes and she's leaning down slightly.

According to google, Taylor is 178 cm, so if she's wearing heels she'll be nearing 190. He doesn't seem to have any sort of heel in his shoes so assume it's 25-30 cm difference and the third picture is probably more alike what you'd experience in reality.

God i love that guy.

It's really how you carry yourself, dude.
Or move to a largely hispanic city and be in company with a much shorter on average population. There's plenty of machismo oozing manlets in my town.

How do you come out without coming off as cringey or like you're trying to instigate drama? I know that a lot of guys will say to write a letter or to sit down with your family to have a serious talk and make the announcement. But it just seems too theatric to do it like that and I know my folks don't take too well to that stuff.

When I came out as gay in high school, they denied it up and down and tried to spin my words anyway they could to make it seem like I was just looking for a reason to feel sorry for myself. But didn't give a single fuck when my girlfriend started coming over and we got caught almost about to have sex. My mom simply told me that the pizza was here if we wanted any then left the room. Since then up until we broke up, my parents just saw us as a normal couple.
